THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!…read more No I don't work here but I'll never go anywhere else. We've been coming here for years because they came so highly recommended by some friends who had a really nice stereo system in their car. They have great products and they install right there. This is nice because if there was a problem they are one stop shopping. If you go, ask for David or Josh the manager. They are very cool guys. They always remember what it's like to be a customer and when I have concerns they are cool enough to give me the low down on deals. It feels like I'm their cousin and they are giving me the inside scoop. They probably treat everyone great but I certainly felt like a vip and I only bought a simple dvd player. You know how you always hear of a Spanish speaking friend who "has a guy" for tires or for electronics, etc?...well these guys are "my guys" for a great car stereo and equipment. The location is really good too, right there on 10th Street by the police station kind of. Don't go anywhere else. I can't speak for all quality auto sounds but this place is super cool. If you go to best buy you get some geek kid who sells you some crap that best buy wants to move off the shelf. Quality auto sound in Greeley is not like that, they ask you what you're looking for and then match you with what works best. Case in point, they had much better units to sell me but they asked about my life and learned I had kids and suggested a unit that was more robust and it was. There was one minor issue and I brought it in and they taught me how to get past it without any pressure to buy a better unit or rip me off in a warranty. I come all the way from longmont to go to this place, that's how awesome Josh the manager is. Anyway the place is great, go and see for yourself. And no, I don't work there, just really really pleased with them.

Took it to Quality Auto Sound the first time and they charged him almost $500 and didn't fix anything. Told him they couldn't find any problems and the Pioneer was locked so there was nothing they could do to fix the problem. My husband briefly got the radio to work when he got back home, called them back and they said they would try to fix it again. We were told no charge. He took it back and was told the problem is the amp...again not fixed and another $135 for "labor". Over $600 and not a thing fixed. Lots of labor and no results...

I own a major brand 2008 Japanese car. Not the top of the line, but far from the bottom. It has a…read moredashboard GPS system with a screen that displays the GPS as well as various settings and radio/CD controls. It has 2 CD drives, one for music and one for the GPS map CD. I popped out the CD for the GPS maps one day and when I reinserted it it made a clicking sound and everything went away except for the radio. I took it to the dealership, they said the whole unit was bad and had to be replaced. $2,400.00. It wasn't worth that to us, but we still were unhappy that we had a non-functional audio unit. A trusted local mechanic told me to take it to Harms. Steve and I sat down in the car, I explained what had happened and let him take a look. He wasn't positive, but suspected the problem was with the GPS CD drive (I had suspected this also) and that since it didn't work, the system couldn't boot up. It took just a couple of minutes to pull out and I left it with him to see what he could do. It took a couple of weeks, but he replaced the bad CD unit and reinstalled it, now everything is back to where it was originally. The dealership's solution was to replace the whole unit, Harms just replaced the faulty CD drive, his cost, $309.00. He took the time and had the knowledge to repair rather than replace. We're happy with the service we got from Harms Labs.

Steve took the time to chat with me about his experience with that particular amp and that it was notorious for failing because of the structure of it and the positioning in the wheel well that caused a lot of shock to the unit. He went on to tell me where I could find an upgraded model of the amp and that he would be happy to help me out if I ran into any problems installing it. I was able to get a replacement amp and after installing it, have an audio system that sounds as good as new. He could have very easily told me he couldn't help me, but instead took the time to talk to me about how I could go about getting my problem fixed. Even though I didn't need any work done in this case, I will not hesitate to take my next job to Steve to work on when the need arises.
