Great selection, very reasonable pricing and prompt delivery! Staff was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations.

These folks are amazing! A true mom & pop operation. Came in to replace our sagging couch cushion and we were shown different options. Service was personable and very friendly. Our cushion was done in a few days and it looks and feels amazing. Highly recommended read more

We had the main cushions on the three seat sofa replaced approximately 7 years ago, and finally got around to having the cushions on the two seat sofa replaced recently. Johnny and Rhea were extremely helpful in figuring out what type of foam we needed and made the right recommendation. Our original cushions had both foam and a top layer of polyester batting so I was a bit worried about the dimensions of the new foam, but Rhea got the measurements just right. The new foam is a nice snug fit (but not excessively tight) in the cushion covers and make the sofa look brand new again. The two main things I would recommend when replacing your cushion foam are: - Visit in person and bring your existing cushions to get the right sizing and density - Choose foam that may feel slightly firmer at first because it will soften slightly over time If you love your couch and just need new foam, I highly recommend the Foam Store. Johnny and Rhea will take great care of you and have your couch ready to binge your favorite shows in no time. read more

Foam Store - Home & Garden Near Me - Houston, Texas

I stopped at the Foam Store on my way back to Florida because I need a specialized piece of foam made for the middle of my captain chairs in the back. Why do I need a special foam cut for that area you ask, why for my sweet dog as we have been dealing with adding multiple pillows and blankets stacked so that she has a nice cushy spot in the middle when traveling. The owner came out, measured the area and wrote it on his business card. He told me to call next time I know when I am coming to town and he would make sure the foam piece is ready when I arrived! I asked if I could pre-pay and he said, No, just call and order it and I will have it ready for you. Say WHAT!!!!! What a fabulous owner and amazing customer service. I told my daughter about this amazing foam store in case she needs to get anything done regarding furniture re-do's. I have not even purchased my item yet and I want to find out what I can have this amazing owner do for me. I am sure Cleo will absolutely love her new cushy area on out next visit. read more

I was in Desperately needing new padding for my sofa. I was driving by and I seen the store so I had to take my chances. When I got the cushion back I was in shock to see how firm my seats are now and strong they are I love the store and will strongly recommend theme to any one in need read more

I stopped into the Foam Store to just pick up an order for a friend. The couple who owns this shop is incredibly kind, they both were so welcoming and light. I was only there for about 5 minutes, but they had a big impact on my day in our brief interaction. The cushions I picked up and beautifully done, and I'm sure their other works are just as well done. Support local business and come see them! read more

I so love this place! I drive about 25+ miles to get what I need here. Small family business that I will continue support as long as they are here! Great service and great products read more

Foam Store - Two mattress firm foam layers for my RV! - Home & Garden Near Me - Houston, Texas

Great service and value both! My sofa has more comfort with the new foam than it did when I first bought it. If you think you can take measurements for foam replacement yourself and are good with the tape measure don't do it! Let these people take it from the start they know what they are doing! I highly recommend The Foam Store. read more

Yep... I decided to do a DIY project. I have a large dog that doesn't believe in personal space. When we sit out on the balcony, he always wants to squeeze into my chair with me. So I thought... WHY NOT MAKE A LARGE SEAT... duuuuuh :) The project begins.. after recruiting my pops of course! :) We found pallets, painted them an espresso color, nailed them together and TADA! Then the challenge... the cushion.. 40x48 is not a standard size. I'm not one to half a** it, so I did my research and ordered a custom cover on Etsy (pricey). Etsy cover lady suggested I buy the foam myself separately rather than her send it all complete.... duuuuuh :) Go figure, none of the home craft stores do custom cuts. I was then recommended to The Foam Store! I ordered it Monday afternoon and had it ready the next morning. Rhea was so helpful and friendly on the phone. She suggested which foam to go with and why. When I went to pick up the foam, Johnny was there and had it rolled and ready for me at the door. I was literally in and out in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this store for all your foam, cushion, chair pad needs. ***NOTE: They also ship their products! read more

This is the best place to go for foam. Been here a few times for cushion replacement. They have good prices and they really know their foam!

Great work at a great price. We had the foam for our 12 year old PB couch cushions replaced by the Foam Store.. After 12 years the original foam was pretty squishy and sunk down whenever we sat down. Pretty annoying and uncomfortable. the Foam Store was same price and even a bit cheaper than online services plus they're local! they did all the cushion measurements and had samples of differing firmness to sit on! Saved the guess work and uncertainty. Took about 3 days and very happy with the work. Highly recommend and would consider anytime we want custom foam replacement for other items rather than growing them out e.g. dog beds, read more

I'm on my sofa cushions there to be replaced. They gave me a choice of firm or extra firm, and they gave me a great price. I picked the extra firm which is probably too firm, but that's the choice I made. They were very friendly and professional. read more

Nineteen years Gallery Furniture has my purchases on file and recommended The Foam Store for refurbishing the cushions. I couldn't be more satisfied with The Foam from the inquiry phone call to Rhea who provided guidance on delivering the cushions, to Johnny having me try the recommended memory foam,, to pickup a day earlier than promised! Take their advice and have them insert and zipper the new foam. I highly recommend The Foam Store read more

I have a nerve issue that requires a firmer couch cushion than put in new couches. A neighbor recommended this store. Really excellent service. I took my cushions in and they had two firmer foams to try out. Ordered what I wanted and left. They gave me a date and when I picked up the cushions on that date they looked so good but most importantly they felt really good when replaced at home. Thanks also to my neighbor for telling me about this wonderful place. read more

The customer service and products of this company are excellent! They followed through with all promises. This is the place to come and I would tell everyone and everyone! And, thanks for the comical interaction between the owners...laughter is the best medicine! read more

I needed a huge amount of foam to make loads of costumes (Minions from Despicable Me) for a charity function. It took me forever to figure out where to get foam quickly and at a reasonable price, and I'm so glad I finally found this place! I was able to pick up my foam the day after ordering (make sure you order it before 4 if you want to do that). I know they deliver too, but I happen to live close by so I haven't needed that. Johnny and Rhea, the owners, are very nice people, and are the ones that pick up the phone when you call and help you when you come into the store - I like that. Anyway, I have since turned the costume making into a little business on the side, and I have this very efficient and responsive little store to thank for it. I'm sure I'll be back many times! read more

I honestly haven't picked up my finished cushions yet but I cannot express enough how fantastic their customer service is. If every business could have people like this, the world would be a better place. read more

John and Rhia both provided the utmost excellence of care and service. They're both incredibly kind, and really put an effort in understanding your requirements and project goals. Their prices are also very fair, and they make you feel right at home when you visit. These guys definitely know their stuff. I rarely feel the need to do Yelp reviews, but these two are more than deserving. All in all, they really care about their customers and they'll communicate that through the customer expedience they provide. read more

I just called this store to try to buy some foam, the owner was rude and hung up on me.

What great, easy and fast service. We needed custom size foam for the seats of our RV bench and after searching everywhere and finding overpriced Low quality foam, I googled custom cut foam and found The Foam Store. I had my foam 2 days later! And their prices are great. I was able to complete the whole order within a couple of emails - simple and easy and spot on! Friendly and fast can't be beat! Thank you! read more

Just got my God-awful Ikea Ektorp couch cushions replaced. Brought them here, and they custom cut some great foam cushions and stuffed them back in the old slip covers. Took only a couple days and is exponentially cheaper than a new couch. The couple that own the place are really nice as well. read more

I went to this store on 6/6/19 with my family with intention to buy 3 large pieces of foam, the man in charge had a very bad attitude after we asked one single question ( can we get a discount on this $867 purchase) he right away told us you know where the door at, maybe he is worthless without his wife cause he had a smile and respect last time we visited the store at here presence and spent $2495. read more

I've had all of my couch cushions done by Johnny and Rhea. I wasn't ready to replace my couch yet (young kids and dogs all use it) so I had the cushions replaced and I'll get a few more years out of it. All of the cushions fit perfectly. The look is more structured, but they told me that it would be. The work was done quickly and at a fair price. Absolutely recommend this store! read more

I visited this store yesterday to obtain one or two small pieces. The owner was rude throughout the entire 7-8 minute exchange. I was given grief for not calling first and not researching their hours of operation (this was my first visit to the store), It got worse from there. His approach and responses to my simple questions of size, cost, availability etc were rude and loud. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. He certainly gave the impression that he was not interested in any business from me. I am baffled as to why this man appeared provoked from the onset of our interaction, why I was supposed to know his business and how he operates his business and why he was offended by simple questions any customer might have presented. read more

I must say that doing business with Johnny was most pleasurable. I called him early Saturday morning around 8:30 to get a quote on sound reducing foam to construct my vocal booth for my home studio and Johnny gave me a quote right away. He asked me how soon I would need the foam and I told him I would like to have it as soon as possible. Although they are normally closed on Saturday, Johnny stated that he had a few errands to run but he could me at the store around 11:00. I said that would be perfect! We both arrived at the locale at approximately 10:56 and within in minutes I had my foam and was on my way to project completion. During the time that I was there, the small talk between Johnny and me was like a nice chat among old friends. I wish customer service could always be this great! I will be shopping at The Foam Store again! Thanks Johnny! read more

Had new foam cut for bottom sofa cushions. Took the old foam in the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. These folks were great. I went by during business hours and had no problems. They helped me pick out the best foam for my project of seat cushions and back cushions. I had already done my measurements and so they copied my information down and drew out the one specially shaped piece for custom cutting. The foam was on site and ready to be picked up exactly when promised. My interaction with both the man and woman were excellent, they were quite pleasant, fun to talk with and knowledgeable about their product.
