Trust Franco and his team to put in 110% care and attention to your vehicle's needs every time. I brought my Tesla here to have (Unplugged Performance) aftermarket lowering springs installed because FNP gave me the best estimate for the work; including wheel alignment. Like with my previous cars (and my wife's), Franco took me along the entire process of the work. Not only that, he and the team will make an honest effort to check everything else they may notice along the way and bring it up to my attention. You may be bringing your car in for a specific reason, but something else we may not notice could be just as critical to keep the car in good shape. The attention to detail is unmatched. Anyway, I loved the work and how my car turned out. I am always glad to bring my car to FNP because I know the work they perform for all their vehicles is honest and legit. Also, I don't typically leave reviews in general, but folks who need service for their vehicle, I cannot recommend a better shop. Thank you! read more

Good place to get your car needs. Francisco was very nice and i love that there were photos provided on what my car needs to get fixed. He was very transparent and he explained and answered all the questions I had. Im happy to have found a mechanic like this. Its rare now adays. Even if i had to pay more, id pick that over going to places that doesnt really take time to communicate with me and build that trust. I want my car to last longer and Im confident, they will take care of it for me. Thank you Francisco! Ill come back and recommend my friends as well. read more

Eons ago there was a CMYE: Community manager Yelp event hosted here. (Go Ryan C!) I thought it was very heart felt that the shop is named after the owners' names; Francisco & Pearl. They both seem very genuine and I love supporting the Mom & Pop...so I bookmarked F&P immediately. I've been coming here for a few years now & only once strayed to Jiffy Lube with the bare minimum of efficiency. By that...let me elaborate on F&P. My last oil change was nothing short of extraordinary. I expected an oil change but what I got was an experience similar to taking my car to a family friend. I received a detailed email with photos of the inside, under carriage, estimated battery life expectancy, text updates on the diagnostics as well as estimated completion time...and Francisco even suggested I replace my windshield wipers because it was expected to rain the following week. He spoke in layman terms & took the time to go over all the diagnostics he had performed; from the oil test that looked like litmus paper to the way the car drove, etc. Phenomenal work ethic, punctuality and quality. I would highly recommend them!! read more

I'm writing again as a returning customer. I felt I accidentally stripped my drain plug bolt while trying to do an oil change and brought my car in to Francisco who noticed another bigger issue with my car. He told me he could fix it the next day as I already had my own parts. He was accommodating to my schedule as he personally felt the issue was major and wanted to make sure I was safe on the road. His urgency reflected the business principles on putting customer's safety first! I came in the next day after work and he successfully did my oil change and coolant repair! A+ work! He also took the time to educate on what he had to do to my car while repairing it and gave me tips. Best mechanic who really values the safety of his customers on the road! read more

Francisco and his crew are incredible. He's the most trustworthy, dependable, and transparent mechanic with whom I've had the pleasure of working. He quickly was able to fit me into his schedule to fix my Toyota Corolla 2007, did a full inspection, understood my personal situation well (to keep costs down), and was able to keep the cost down to the maximum without any unnecessary hassles or expenses. My experience at FNP was headache-free and I was able to drive a severely damaged vehicle safely to my next destination. I highly recommend Francisco, his mechanic Teppei, and the remainder of his crew to my friends and acquaintances. For any future repairs/inspections I require while in Orange County, I will be giving Francisco a call. read more

Just moved to the area and wanted to find a local and honest mechanic who we could support. We have 3 cars all in different stages of maintenance. Francisco started with our Highlander and we've notice a difference in performance. We feel safe and confident knowing that Francisco is taking his time and putting care into the cars that come into the shop. If you have a family and want to ensure your car is safe, reliable and well maintained look no further. Francisco and his team at FNP is the best place for all you car maintenance and troubleshooting needs. Aloha! read more

Yelp challenge 2016 So my old Stanton mechanic retired......One of my cars kept losing power. Not safe at all. One minute it was fine, next minute it would turn off. Total Gremlin under my hood for sure. So after the Mister took me to work, he Yelped a place nearby and found FNP Auto. Located off Western and Chapman in Stanton. Super comfortable inside. Free WIFI, TV, Radio, free cold water, coffee, snacks, Candy and magazines. Customers ate treated right. They even gave him a ride home. When I came to pick up the car I munched on red licorice and sipped on cold water. Had to leave her overnight to figure out the problem. So sad. But finally they found the Gremlin and fixed it. So here is my only disappointment. Most reviews do not discuss the prices here. Im used to my friends working on my car for the easy jobs and getting parts at cost. I know how much things cost. Maybe times have changed and the true cost of labor has increased. They use a program that estimates standard time to fix an issue. If it says it takes 1/3 of an hour you are billed 1/3 of an hour. Some of my billed time was questionable in my opinion. Only because I know how long it takes to change simple parts out, like a air filter. On a plus note. Pictures of work were presented and emailed. That way you don't forget. Recommend work was also presented via pictures and with estimates. Francisco is super friendly like everyone else has said. Super professional. I understand its a 1 man shop with a few other mechanics and they need to make a living, take care of overhead, ect. I just wish it was not so costly here. Especially for easier jobs like changing the air filter. Yelp check in gives you $10.00. Franscico also told the Mister he took some of the original labor off to help us out. #963 read more

Amazing as always! Trusted. Experienced. Timely! Been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

Gotta give an update to the best autoshop. My husband and I been going to FNP auto for about 3 years now and have always received amazing service. Francisco is always so thorough, transparent, and helpful. I love that he takes pictures during service so we are able to see what's the issue or why something is being done. He even gave me a lot of helpful advice when I was having issues with my transmission and the dealership was being difficult. My fairly new Mazda was having transmission issues and the Mazda dealership would not fix it. I had to go back and forth to the dealership a lot with them making quick fixes on issues near the transmission but never fully fixing it. Francisco gave me great advice and really advocated for me to get it fixed with Mazda since it was under warranty. Mazda finally fixed my transmission but it wouldn't have happened with out Francisco's advice and the pictures he took during all the checks he did on my car. I feel that he truly has the customer's best interest at heart. I would recommend anyone to come here. Francisco is always provides the best service! read more

I've been going to FNP Auto for over 3 years now and I just want to say how thankful I am to have Francisco and Pearl as my go to people for automobile services. They've been very helpful since day one when I first visited their shop and every time I visit, I'm greeted with a warm welcome. :) Whether it's just an oil change or a heavy project such as a transmission issue when dealing my car, I know I can trust Francisco on getting my car up and ready for the road. They let me know before hand what possible things need fixing in the future so that I can be ready. They offer great solutions to keep my mind at ease and not be overwhelm if there's an issue with my car. I say look no further than to visit FNP auto because trust and transparency is hard to come by in any business. Thanks again FNP auto! read more

Thorough? Honest? Reliable? Francisco has been such a godsend for my wife and I. We have been taking our car to him for several years now and his level of service is so consistently good, I feel like he might secretly be a robot. Then I realize that's impossible, because he has such a genuine personality to give along with his level of care. Well I appreciate the most about Francisco is his approach to his work and his understanding of how it is a reflection of him as a person. He's very methodical and takes his time with the initial diagnostic. There is no ego involved, It gives my wife and I a lot of peace knowing that Francisco will tell us when he's unsure about the specific issue our car is facing and takes his time to figure it out. We've never been overcharged and on numerous occasions, Francisco has removed line items and potential repairs from the initial estimate that weren't necessary. He also doesn't overpromise on completion times, so we're never left expecting to have our car ready when he still needs time to work on it. No one likes needing car repairs, but if we had to give our business to anyone, we're genuinely happy that it's Francisco and his family! read more

Francisco is always helpful , definitely recommend !! I have brought my truck here if couple of times definitely worth it .

FnP Auto is where is at for your car's needs! Brought my 2004 Infiniti G35 twice already and was able to fix the problems in no time! MUST READ REVIEW I haven't had to go anywhere else since I've been here for the last 4 years! Why? They're capable of handling absolutely anything and everything! They even go beyond your typical standards and norms when it comes to your concerns, questions, and specific needs. Their attention to detail can't be found anywhere else. Where else can you find someone that greets you by your name and ask you how your day was? Who takes your vehicle and treats them as their own. Who would never overcharge you for something you won't need. Who makes honest recommendations for the life of your vehicle. Bottomline, they're irreplaceable! Booking an appointment couldn't be easier! They could be easily contacted by phone, email, and even by text messaging. If you have concerns of car rentals, they will find you the best rates for both the cost and the amount of time you require, and you'll stress less when you use their shop's rates. Absolute Professionals & I couldn't be any happier than to have met them! read more

I want to commend this wonderful independent shop on their outstanding customer service and car care. I've taken my car to their shop for oil changes, brakes, general maintenance, and also to work on my air conditioning mishaps that befell my little commuter car due to its old age. What I really appreciate the most is that I'm provided with the regular service I am doing as well as an update of any other issues that might also be ongoing (or near-coming) supported with many pictures and a detailed report. I never feel pressured to commit right then and there to decide whether I want to make any large decisions. The inside is clean and comfortable, with employees and staff responsive and professional. If you're on the fence about finding someplace to care for your car I highly recommend giving this little independent shop a call. read more

This is honestly the BEST experience I have ever had getting car repairs. The owner, Francisco, goes above and beyond all expectations. He sent a detailed report of his inspection including photos and videos. Then he went over the entire report over the phone and made sure I understood everything he was doing for me. He also explained what the plan will be during future visits. The prices were also excellent. Francisco expressed his commitment to keeping our essential healthcare workers on the road during the quarantine due to COVID-19. He is extremely careful about wiping down all interior surfaces with sanitizer before and after the work is completed. I especially appreciate how he made the effort to fit me into his busy schedule and still maintained the exceptional personalized service that all the other reviews have mentioned. read more

Decided to come here for an oil change after attending a Yelp event here & seeing how honest & thorough they (Francisco & Pearl) were. Francisco took the time to talk to me, answer all of my questions, looked up my car maintenance schedule to let me know what & when I needed to be changed/ fixed (printed this out) & also had the patience to teach me the differences between different oil brand names. I can see the passion & dedication that Francisco & Pearl have for cars & their wonderful shop with the honest & great work that they do here. It's really hard to find a mechanic & Auto shop that you can truly trust that won't rip you off like other places that I've been to where I've had bad experiences. But here, it was a completely different experience. Got my oil changed, wipers (all 3 changed- I had bought my own so this was free of charge), check to see if my brake fluid contaminated & check my check tire light problem & also checked the pressure on my tires. After everything was done, I paid for the services only since I had bought my own parts everything went smoothly & I was on my way. I love the ease of mind that I get here compared to other places. I have definitely found my to go place for oil changes & auto problems here =) Thank you Francisco! =) Tip: Call for appointments because they can get busy & leave a message if they don't pick up; they're sometimes in the back fixing cars. =) FYI: There's a Oil change stamp card after 5 Oil changes, the 6th one is Free. =) read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Francisco is truly the most transparent, knowledgeable, and communicative shop owner I've ever worked with. He meticulously catalogues all aspects of my car each time it arrives so he can walk me through what he and his team are seeing compared to the last time. You can tell Francisco takes great pride in his work; it's easily seen in the thoughtful details of his customer service - he'll work with you in real-time, and at your level of knowledge, to ensure you are satisfied with the approach. I've never not had an excellent experience at FNP auto, and despite years of wear and tear on my car, it's never run better. read more

Francisco is the most friendly and genuine auto mechanic I've ever met. Came in for the first time to get an oil change for my girlfriend's car and came out with a free broken brake light fixed, a full inspection with comprehensive explanations AND pictures, in under an hour and about $30. No appointment set either (although highly recommended out of courtesy)! He greeted me instantly and got me out the door knowing exactly what my car needed to have serviced without any pressure. He sent me a copy of the list and promised to email me with quotes which he did! Came back a week later to get a brake flush and to get my new car inspected. I had an appointment and Francisco was outside greeting me before I even stepped out my car! Brake flush was finished in about 1.5 hours, and It didn't leave a large hole in my wallet (the yelp check-in helped). Next up was my new-ish Mazda 3 inspection, which he promised to completed in about 2 hours. Came back and he gave me the same amount of detail as the previous inspection, except the list was all positive! He answered all of my questions clearly and never made me feel pressured to get anything done. Only suggested what I should get done and listed everything by importance. I'm happy to say that I found my new go-to mechanic and I will be recommending him to my friends! Thanks again, Francisco! P.S. His dogs are awesome! Definitely a plus for dog lovers read more

This review is long overdue! My first trip here was for a simple oil change. The process was fast, simple and affordable. We were able to use a Yelp deal to get $10.00 off. However, what impressed me most was the detail and attention that was provided in the visit. Francisco and his team took pictures of my car to show me any potential problem areas. And no, there was no pushy salesman pitch to get more money. It was a straight forward conversation. Because my first experience was so great, I brought my car back a couple of months later for a leak. Turns out I needed a water pump replacement -not cheap. However, I got a fair price and appreciated the limited warranty that came with it. I even received a discount for paying cash! Francisco was so detailed that he had me come back in a week after the service was complete just so that he could make sure it was holding up. A couple of weeks after that he followed up again with by email. So thorough. Amazing! Needless to say, I am confident in his work and appreciate his work ethic. It's refreshing. I've finally found a mechanic I can trust. The FNP team has earned another regular customer. read more

I just had my truck serviced here. Long story short, my mechanic of 20 years had recently retired. I was in need of a mechanic that I could trust. Did my usual research online and read up here on yelp about Francisco and his team. What caught my eye was documentation with photo and video. They basically keep you in the loop to as what is going on with your vehicle. The garage is well kept and the prices are fair. The team here at FNP fixed my truck and it is running like new, well new with 215k. 1999 Toyota 4Runner with 215k plus miles and it is running great. Thank you Francisco and team! Yelp did not let me down today! I went on a hunt to find a mechanic to fix my car and stumbled onto yelp. FNP automotive was highly praised for going above and beyond for their customers. Francisco the service manager greeted me with a smile when I came in. He ran a free diagnostic and got to the bottom of what was wrong with my car. The shop was able to fix the problem the same day. Not only did they fix the problem but they gave me a free battery, starter, break fluid and transmission fluid check. With all the heavy commuting and day-to-day traveling that our family does, it's so important to have a safe and reliable car, but even more importantly a reliable car mechanic who keeps our vehicles safe!
