Kids don't often get to try to physically attack adults very often, so this is their chance. I am a master of Mario Kart, though, so I came out triumphant. My Goddaughter and I smoked the competition. Never got passed. Enough about me, though. Getting the chance to just be secluded in a private room so we could eat in peace and sing happy birthday to my niece was really nice. I liked this experience, and I would totally come back.

We started in a home built in 1805, then went to the oldest church in Florida built in 1832, then saw 2 additional homes. One was from 1871 and the other from 1890. I don't want to give too much away in my review, so the best thing I can suggest is to not miss this part! When Aiden detailed the past for us, he used words as current descriptions and like he was the one who was performing the daily tasks. It was a nice touch. To see how people lived long ago is amazing. When you walk into the area of the first home, you'll see a woman tending the garden, a man wood working, a woman playing the flute, and another woman playing the violin. It was like a little play. I've been vacationing in Pensacola since 1975 when I was 2 months old. I love the beach but this is the first time I saw the history it holds. Very impressed. The guided tour takes about an hour. You can only see these homes and the church by purchasing a ticket for the tour. It's a bundle ticket that also gets you into the self guided museums. $12 for adults. Highly recommend!

We booked an appointment for my bachelorette trip and were very disappointed. I was so excited for…read morethis activity and it was so rushed. The staff had trouble checking us in, and took it out of our painting time. We had issues with our booking, the app was difficult to use and we could not get in touch with staff to help. When we finally got someone on the line he was clueless and said they could help us there.. we walked in and it was just an "oh well.. this is what you get" moment. There is no drinks included in the package, they're separate and limited on options. We asked for refills and the bartender completely forgot about us and we just gave up. (We were the only 5 people there and booked the whole space) Our painter leading the class told us we "had to speed up" because she had to get home to pay her babysitter and "we were only booked til 4" when we had booked a 2 hour painting session and separate candle making. Apparently we were supposed to get there 15 minutes early to make candles but we were never told anything about a time, the reservation confirmation actually only had the date and no time. We ended up just kind of painting whatever because she stopped talking and teaching the painting and just adding stuff to hers. Was mentioned mannny times that "she's under contract" so she has to finish her painting accurately. No concept that it was a painting class and did not want to answer questions. Instead of a fun little activity it turned into a stressful quick pace throw it on the canvas and blow dry it with no drinks. We made the best out of the situation but you'd be better off going to the pottery painting next door. Would have stayed home or went to the beach if we knew the service would be that way.

First time attending this fair. It was a lot of fun. The concerts, mostly country, are included…read morewith your general admission. That's really nice considering the entertainment is not just cover bands and washed out old one-hit wonders from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. We saw Twitty and Lynne; Conway's grandson and Loretta's granddaughter. They were surprisingly very similar to their grandparents. The stage was nicely set up and good seating was available. It felt like stepping back in time. Midway rides and games with lots and lots of people crowding the walkways. The exhibit halls were full and there were plenty of food vendors throughout the fairgrounds (albeit there wasn't much in the way of specialty fair foods that you can't get anywhere else...) The only real drawback was that many of the vendors only accept cash and those who do take plastic are charging fees to use a card. I didn't bring enough cash thinking cash might not be accepted, based on the Blue wahoo stadium policy of only accepting credit/debit cards for payments. Totally my own fault. But, if you go be sure to take cash with you.
