    Blue wahoos stadium

Best minor league baseball stadium I have ever been to! The parking was $5! The volunteers shuttled my family of 4 to the front entrance! We got into the stadium in less than 2 minutes! Great food and drink selection. We got bloody Mary's, seltzers, miller light, hot dogs, fries, peanuts, popcorn, water and Diet Coke! AMAZING seats behind home plate! My boyfriend got to be on camera for BEST SHADED SEATS IN THE HOUSE! It was a hot day, but our seats came with some natural shade! Love the touch of free sunscreen too! The game store was great! Got a hat and several shirts! Even had shirts on sale! Could not have asked for a better wahoo experience!

Best minor league stadium I've been to. It's super clean and has a gorgeous view out in center field. There were multiple different styles of food you could eat around the concourse. We sat on the berm for a bit which still had a great view of the game along with the sunset. They also had great fireworks after the game. We got there pretty close to the start of the game on a Saturday evening and they were sold out except for standing room so I'd recommend getting there early or buying tickets online. An amazing time.

Came today for Pensacola 1/2 marathon! Always clean and well kept. Only thing I would say today is the only way we could get in was on runners entrance as well be some congested when runners came. We didn't want to be in their way.

This is a great place for the citizens of Pensacola. Great services. Good (ish) team. Has a mini McGuires for those that like Irish Wakes. Great concessions. Wish they had more entry doors. Overall a must do when in season in PCola. Highly recommended!

I'm 1425 miles from my beloved Fenway Park and the Boston Red Sox but I have a new place to enjoy baseball much closer to home. The park that they call has it's own page but this mighty team deserves its own space, so here goes: The Blue Wahoos, a Minor League Baseball team based in Pensacola, Florida, have carved a niche for themselves in the world of Double-A baseball. As a AA affiliate of the Miami Marlins, the team has a rich history and has grown significantly since its inception. Quint Studer is an owner of two minor league baseball teams, the Blue Wahoos and the High-A Beloit Sky Carp, in Beloit, Wisconsin. The franchise now known as the Pensacola Blue Wahoos began in 1959 as the Charleston White Sox, a Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, in the South Atlantic League (now the Southern League). The team has changed locations and affiliations multiple times, having been known as the Columbus Astros, Carolina Mudcats, and others, before settling in Pensacola in 2012. Since then, the Blue Wahoos have consistently entertained fans and developed talented prospects for the Major Leagues. Affiliation history: Miami Marlins (2021-present) Minnesota Twins (2019-2020) Cincinnati Reds (2012-2018) The other Double-A teams they currently play, in their league, are the Biloxi Shuckers, Birmingham Barons, Chattanooga Lookouts, Jackson Generals, Mississippi Braves, Montgomery Biscuits, Tennessee Smokies, and the team I watched them shut out last night the Rocket City Trash Pandas, love that name and really enjoyed that game, I will come back to see a rematch!! How about ticket prices, they vary depending on the seating location, game, and promotions. Generally, single-game tickets can start as low as $6 and go up to around $45. Very cool! :-) But cheap tickets don't mean cheap experience, because the staff from concessions, to ushers to back office they are always friendly, welcoming and make you feel like a V.I.P. also very cool! They have an impressive track record of success in their relatively short history! They have won several titles and accolades, including: * Southern League Championship (2x): 2017, 2022 * Division Titles (3x): 2017, 2022, 2023 * First-Half Titles (4x): 2016, 2017, 2022, 2023 * Second-Half Titles (2x): 2015, 2016 * Best Winning Percentage in Club History (2022) * Record 10-Game Win Streak (2022) The Blue Wahoos' dedication to excellence and strong teamwork has cementee their status as a competitive force in Double-A baseball, and play a crucial role in developing promising prospects within the Marlins organization. The partnership has proven successful, providing a steady stream of talented players to both teams and contributing to the growth of the franchise. Of course I have to mention this great park and I have been to other minor league parks but this is by far the coolest. The home field for them is the state-of-the-art Blue Wahoos Stadium, also known as Admiral Fetterman Field, located within the Community Maritime Park. A multi-purpose venue featuring a seating capacity of 5,038 and has been designed to accommodate a variety of events, including baseball, soccer, football, festivals, and graduations. Ammenities include luxury suites, party decks, a high-definition video board, and a variety of concessions offering delicious food and beverages. And, the seriuosly gorgeous view of Pensacola Bay provides a unique backdrop for games. Bottom line: The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have created a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for baseball fans in the Pensacola area. The team's history, notable players, and an outstanding stadium have all contributed to the Blue Wahoos' growing presence in the world of Double-A baseball. Highly recommended!!!! https://www.milb.com/pensacola/ https://www.facebook.com/BlueWahoosBaseball/

What a fun venue to catch a good ballgame. Easy in and out with plenty of parking. We got first row behind the dugout seats and they were awesome. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. Food and drink offerings are def 5 star for a ballpark. They are cashless for everything which is fine with us. We had a bonus for this Sunday game as the Blue Angels flew over the field and later so did Fat Albert. It was cool. We will certainly return for a top notch experience and the quality of the games is also pretty darn good. Kids got to run the bases after the game on Sunday. Go Wahoos!

What a great pass time with the significant other, the family, friends, or even all of the above. The Blue Wahoos, a minor league team here in Pensacola, have the full support of a group of locals that are passionate about baseball. Makes for a really fun experience! The food offerings are better than any of the stadiums I've been to in other states and the personnel working the stands are friendly, professional, hard working, and altogether fun! And the fireworks show at the end of the night is just great! I highly recommend checking it out!

We had decided to upgrade to Club because it not only included the buffet but also because of the view. Neither disappointed us. The view was amazing especially at sunset & the food was even better. Since the seats were reserved - we could not have had a better table. The food was incredible! The tenderloin w/sweet tea reduction was so tender that you did not need to cut it with a knife. They had several different types/colors of roasted carrots and I loved them all. The creamy orzo pasta lived up to its name as did the fried green beans with the garlic mayo reduction! I neglected to get a shot of the dessert bar because it was set up later but they had the moistest brownies ever & some type of chocolate cake and the icing tasted as though it had a touch of expresso - I had two pieces!! If you are able to ever upgrade to this ($55.00 I think), it is totally worth it!

Great time at the ballpark. I recommend the foot long hot dogs and a cold coors light. Always a good time!!

Big-time hospitality and small-town feel awaits at Blue Wahoos Stadium. You can tell the owners take the fan experience seriously, and the park location and architecture only adds to the charm. Hurry up and grab your tix for a great night by the bay. You'll be able to check out Miami's up-and-coming Double A crew while grabbing some bay breezes, adding to the irony of Marlins as Wahoos. The mix of big-league and family-friendly is good for all ages. Plenty of chances to grab a foul ball or home run for the kids, and good selections of stadium food/drink for the rest of us. Grab a team set of cards and a few signatures while they're still not superstars and traded to NY or Chicago. You locals can pick from 10+ ticket plans from weekends to fireworks to Giveaway Fridays. It's dirt-cheap baseball fun! Grab some tacos on Tuesday and fish fish fish, or the more traditional stadium fare if you didn't eat nearby before entering. I'll hope to return now that baseball's back at Blue Wahoos.

Coming from a larger city, I really wasn't expecting much. But this stadium was actually great! There was literally no wait to get in when we got there and walked right through. I came to game with some coworkers, we had great seats right behind home plate. Before we sat down, we hopped in line for food and drinks. They had lots of different food options, more than your typical "ball park" food. I ordered the shrimp tacos, a little messy but good! I also grabbed a pretzel, because I can't go to a game and not get a pretzel! It was delicious, as usual! My coworkers opted for the hot dogs, no judgement, they enjoyed them throughly. Not only do they have beer available, but also mixed drinks. Always a plus. Between the innings, they have a Roach Run for the kids to run across the field and chase a person dressed as a roach. It's hilarious! Each night they run different special, some nights have fireworks, others have giveaways for the first X amount of people to enter, etc. i will be coming back with my boyfriend for sure.

Seating in the group section was very uncomfortable. Bartender in the upper group/Winn Dixie section was very rude. He definitely had an attitude because he was not getting the tips he felt he deserved and he voiced this to almost everybody. No wonder people were not tipping him. Game was good, Pensacola won. Blue Angels did a fly over. There was a roach race for the kids. Replace the bartender and I'll up my review.

"Baseball is ninety percent mental. The other half is physical." ~Yogi Berra - What a fun, beautiful stadium! Where else can you watch baseball and sailboats at the same time? It was the AA Wahoos vs the Trash Pandas, and we sat right next to the field where the pitchers warm up. Parking is easy! The staff is great! The food is excellent! It's family oriented!

I'm torn between the assessment of 2 and 3 stars. (3 being an average, but still positive, rating -- I don't think I can because my cons certainly outweigh the positives) There, it's settled. The hubs and I visited the Civic Center for the first time to attend a Mardi Gras ball. The place is HUGE, but extremely (severely and sorely) outdated. (Pretty sure that's why the city is soon tearing it down!) The restrooms were flooded halfway through the night, the restroom doors were hit or miss on locks, and don't even get me started on the shoddy AC-- you're cool in one room, literally burning up in the next. I did love looking down on the ball's main dance floor from the 2nd floor seating. Oh, and there was plenty parking -- am I reaching now?! Sorry. Did it serve its purpose? Yes! Would I be missing out if I never went back? No, not at all! Overall, it's a shell of an old building (that once was, maybe) that's workable for a few hours (before the flooding), and that's about all I've got on the Mobile Civic Center. I will say that the Mystics of Time is a great job of fixing it up and decorating the venue for their ball!

Well, although many (or most) aspects of my original review still ring true, I'm pleased to announce that a few changes have been made to make ol' Ladd Peebles a bit more palatable in 2 years' time. The parking situation is the same, but thankfully I've been delivered and now have a parking pass. Concessions are the same from what I hear as I haven't made a purchase since 2016. Now that I'm older, I do my very best to avoid the call of overpriced processed cheese (reformed concessions nachos lover here) and trans fats. I digress. But what has taken a turn for the better is the overall stadium itself. Some things have been patched and repainted, and it's looking more like a stadium this season. Not sure if the recent press and the threat of South's new on campus stadium has had anything to do with it-- just kidding, that's it! But, we'll take it.
