"It's a Christmas miracle" y'all! ... and Christmas Nights of Lights-Mobile is truly the "kitty's titties!" This is an epic (seriously, Hollywood level production) Christmas light show paired to the holiday music streaming on the radio of your car, and Hank Aaron Stadium knocked it out of the park! (See what I did there? Lol!) The show, the ease of navigating the layout, the directions, the innovation, the LIGHTS (my God -- the beautiful lights), the song selection, the comfort of enjoying from inside your vehicle and not freezing to death outside -- I loved all 20ish minutes of it! Everything was fabulous and like nothing I (nor the hubs) had every witnessed before! Mobile definitely knows how to put on a Christmas Light Show, and if you know like I know-- you'll grab your kid(s), grab $6 bucks per head over 3 yrs old, and get down to the stadium before the CNOL season ends. Great venue, great food, great atmosphere, and a great team! When I used to watch football, I always left the game feeling exhausted, but baseball is a very different thing. I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. The staff and facilities at Hank Aaron Stadium always come through to create a very comfortable and relaxing evening. Several recent upgrades to an already nice park have recently been done, making the Hank an even better ballpark. Highly recommend. An evening spent at the Hank is an evening well spent! read more

I love baseball and I love this stadium. The stadium itself fine. It's been maintained somewhat well over the past 23 years. I love visiting Hank's childhood home, which is free admission with a ticket to the game. The house is filled with Hank's memorabilia and much more. It has a nice little park next to it with a gazebo. The ballpark is huge. It has plenty of seating and a portion of it is shaded which is nice since Mobile is definitely hot and humid during baseball season. The ambiance of the ballpark is a great feeling. This is such a cool little ballpark. It is very small. In fact, I've been to several college stadiums that are larger and have larger crowds than The Hank. That's okay. It doesn't make it less fun. Plus, I only paid $10 for a ticket to see the Mobile Bay Bears, right behind home plate. You can't beat that! I can't remember what I paid for a soft drink or popcorn, but I know it wasn't very much. Don't expect to see men come into the stands yelling "cold beer" or "hot dogs" because you won't find it here. This is not a major league ballpark, but it is a fun and inexpensive family outing. Everyone in the Mobile area should go at least once and support our little hometown team. By the way, they're pretty good! So, what are you waiting for??? read more

Very nice stadium. Too bad it's named after a racist who wouldn't sign autographs for little white kids (but DID sign them for the black kids) when he played for the Braves (personal experience, not hearsay). read more

We drove through Hank's parking lot to see the Thriller of Nights and Lights during October for their Halloween light show and it was amazing! My kids couldn't get enough and for $6.00 per person, 3 and under FREE, plus $2 off for military I'd say it's a very fair price. We'll be going again next year. As for the stadium, it's nice that it's cheap but I wouldn't go more than twice a season. If you're a baseball fan you might just enjoy the game but the stadium itself is a bit older and the construction doesn't allow you to see the field while you're getting food n snacks like I'm used to. They do entertain the kids pretty well between innings and even allow them to run the bases which they always enjoy, no matter the stadium. If they upgraded their stadium or amenities a little more or even had a contending team I'd probably see myself coming a lot more often. read more

I went to a baseball game at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile, AL on 4/17/2015. It was my 1st time there. I talked to Matt B (their account executive) who sold me a ticket prior to the game. The ticket that I purchased was $10.00 while parking at the game was $5.00. I ate dinner at the game. I had their Conecuh Sausage meal for $11.00 (which included fries and a soda). Sadly, the Mobile BayBears lost to the visiting Biloxi Shuckers by a score of 4-2 that night. The WP for the Shuckers was Tyler Wagner while the LP was Yoan Lopez of the BayBears. Both Michael Reed and Nick Ramirez had solo home runs for the Shuckers. Wirfin Obisbo picked up the first ever Shuckerv save. Teddy is the BayBears mascot. Plus, I took photos. P.S. - The first L.A. Dodger game I ever saw was in 1971 at Dodger Stadium against the Atlanta Braves. Hank Aaron played in that game (he was 1 for 4, no HR). read more

Worst design for a stadium ever. No air circulation in seats AT ALL. At least the seats don't face setting sun for evening games. Only way to access the seats is to climb stairs. Horrible. Maybe 350 butts in seats. Pathetic. Food is sub par. Not the worst but far from good. BOILED HOT DOGS AT A BASEBALL PARK??? UNIMAGINABLE. AND no onions. . Not even sure if place ( stadium AND city) is worthy of of a class A team. The field looks good and seems to be in average playing condition. No wonder they are losing the team. read more

The "Hank" opened in 1996, and is truly one of the finest minor league baseball parks in the country. It has a seating capacity of 6,000, and they're definitely ALL great seats. The Dimensions: LF 325, Left-Center 396, CF 400, Right-Center 387, RF 310. It's the home of the Mobile BayBears, in the Southern League, and AA Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Mobile definitely has some baseball history, as you'd be amazed at how many Hall of Famers hail from the area, including Hank Aaron. They actually moved the home that Aaron grew up in, to the grounds here at the stadium, They have a really nice fireworks display after Friday night games, that rivals many cities' 4th of July celebrations. The team, itself, has been known to play some pretty good ball, as they've won their league championship a couple times. The stadium is in an easily accessible location, right off the Interstate (I-65, and not far from I-10). read more

My family and I enjoyed watching the Bay bears play ball. The staff really involved the crowd and allowed the kids to participate in fun activities. We recently moved to the area and look forward to going to more games. It was inexpensive and very family oriented. read more

We recently had a wedding at the Cirrus Event Center/ Hank Aaron Stadium. Mr.Johnson was definitely in over his head. The day of the event we were expecting about 200 guests. Well, we only had seating for 160("the other chairs were broken"). He only had 5 staff members available the cook, 3 ladies and himself. Members of the family began serving water, tea and dinner plates. The alcohol that was purchased was not served . Soda/chasers were not available. Then to add insult to injury he tried to take credit for the decorations . My family and I worked hard for 5 hours , the day of the wedding. We were not allowed to start until that morning at 9:30. This was not the service we paid for. He also posted on Facebook pictures and a video with the caption"Look at what our staff can do for you"...BS read more

Great stadium! We went and caught a game on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the visit. I'm used to major league prices but you could walk up and get a seat just about anywhere in the stadium and not pay too much. Beer and hot dogs were cheap and good. The popcorn was pretty bad... But other than that we had a great time! There isn't a bad seat in the house and being minor leagues it is pretty fun to see future major league prospects up close and personal! read more
