Still love this place just as much as when I wrote my initial review! Store and restrooms remain very clean. Gas prices are great when traveling the FL Panhandle. They've now added a Cinnabon... Cinnabon lovers rejoice!! read more

That time you forgot you've already given a place a 1...until you go to the restroom and it all comes back to you. Yup. Still a 1 (as low as we go). 011726 read more

Used to be good but gotten to be rude and not care about cleaning looks food on rollers was awful taste like been there for days

1/5 stars for the bathroom only. I went to shower around 8pm, there were many showers available but when I went to shower, the water never got warm. I was freezing in the shower. read more

There was the sweetest staff members. They were so kind and talkative. It was one of the best gas stations i've been to and I would totally recommend this to other people. read more

Love the special RV pumps at your stations! So convenient and places to park to eat lunch. Love traveling and getting gas at reasonable prices with our RV! read more

Lots of truck parking however once you get to the far end it's really no turn around room. The store and showers were clean they are just small. read more

I wish I could award ZERO stars! If you're hoping to get quickly in and out and back on the road this is NOT the place. There must have been a "who can do the least" contest between the ladies working behind the counter because their lack of helpfulness, acknowledgement, and general display of do nothingness took real effort. I at least value your time, so my advice...keep rolling to the next stop! read more

The staff are so kind no matter what shift there on. I've always been treated with warmth. I work sometimes 14 hour days and they start and end my long days. read more

Nice clean and well stocked store, so many snack drink and food options! Highly recommend!!

If you are looking for the best price on fuel in the area, a huge selection of snacks and clean restrooms this is the place. We try to look for the Flying J's when we travel because we know they will usually always have the best prices and clean restrooms. They also have a fuel rewards card that offers a $.03 per gallon discount when you buy fuel. The fuel islands are also very clean and each island had windshield cleaners available. read more

Flying J loves travelers, and travelers love Flying J. We stopped here to fill up our tanks on the way to our Florida vacation, and we stopped here again on the way back. So much to write about: * It caters to truckers, but welcomes passenger cars as well. * Gas prices are lower than most, no matter which Flying J you go to. * Large, clean, well-stocked convenience store. Clean restrooms. * The national brands are featured, but the store also has the local specialties. * I've read that if you've driven your rig for the 8-hour limit, you can park it at Flying J and sleep. They may allow RVs to do the same. * Eat at Denny's; it's always open. Stop on by. read more

Met an old acquaintance here that was passing through on I-10. I've never been to this particular Flying-J location but it was very easy to get in and out of (caution: red light cameras are in use at that intersection). The facility itself was fairly clean and well maintained and the counter staff was awesome and friendly. read more

The women's restrooms was not clean at all. Faucets didn't work and the air filters need to be changed. I'm leaving pics but the dirt from the filter is everywhere on the ceiling as you enter the restroom. Mens bathroom according to my husband was clean and nice. This is probably because they cater to truckers who are likely male. read more

Obviously, it's time for a fill up after traveling. Very clean bathrooms and store. The staff is friendly. It is a busy location but the wait for the pumps is worth the how nice the bathrooms are. read more

Better than stopping for a road break at a small--and likely filthy and high priced--gas station, Flying Js are reliably clean, roomy, and efficient about getting you down the road. Large selection of drinks, snacks, and hot and fried foods. The bathrooms are spacious, with quite a few sinks. The parking lot is huge, so peep around before you just zoom across the thing, because there's probably some idiot eating a fried bean burrito zipping around. And, as other folks have said, you're going to get the cheapest fuel in a 100-mile stretch here, so top off if you have the time. read more

Convenient location. Sells expired snacks. (Didn't catch it until miles away and tasted the staleness. Woe is me.) Good service, clean, and multiple counters. Has snacks, beverages, such as coffee, and a other little amenities. Also, lottery tickets. The usual convenience store selection. This location is also connected to a Denny's if you're looking for a sit down, more variety, and/or a more substantial bite. It's a good place to stock up on any last minute goods for a trip after filling up the tank. Just check the expiration date of your snacks before check out! read more

Flying J Travel Center - a car parked in front of the building - Convenience Stores Near Me - Midway, Florida

This is a great gas station located in the panhandle of Florida... The gas here is cheaper than other stations, so this is our preferred stop in this area. This station has all the usual snack items and plenty of beverages to choose from as well... The employees are nice and the store is kept very clean. This is a great place to stop if you're in need of fuel or if you just need to stretch your legs on a long trip. read more

Such a disappointment this store is to the flying j name Usually a brand name means you can expect consistent quality, this place destroys the chain name. No Ladles for the soup, messy soup bar, a river of pee in the men's room, the last attentive waitresses at their Dennys, napkin placement is sparse and I had to cunt for them! No hot food past nine pm i guess. Meh.... read more

Flying J is a great truck-stop chain. I first became introduced to Flying J upon the opening of the Dothan location a few years back, and it quickly became my stop of choice when traveling interstate on Highway 231. Likewise, the Midway location is a convenient and clean truck-stop when traveling on I-10. This location has a large Denny's restaurant, along with trucker accommodations, a nice fountain drink / coffee area, and plenty of trucker and travel supplies as well as your standard convenience store fare. Kind of close to Tallahassee for me to stop frequently, but if you are on I-10 for the long haul Flying J is a solid choice. Oh, and normally their gas prices are some of the best in the area. read more

I work right across this Flying J, and it has met all of my needs. I can get really good drinks, 44oz Sodas for .99 cents, Iced-Coffee drinks for $1.29, two huge slices of pizza for $5, and chicken tenders and potato wedges by the weight. This place is absolutely incredible. The girl who works there (I haven't looked at her name tag), is adorable. Every time I come in, she treats me super nice, and gives me my food in the nicest way. I really like going there and interacting with her because she is super nice and sweet, and treats me like the best customer ever. She is one of the youngest girls working there, and I so appreciate how nice she is. There are is also a game room, and a TV room, and today I was able to eat my lunch and sit and watch TV. Flying J also offers showers, which I think might be mostly for the truck drivers that drive by there, or maybe for people who drive RV's. I'm tempted to walking into a shower just to see what it looks like. Overall, I really enjoy this place, and I highly recommend the pizza and Iced-Coffee Drinks! read more

Half the diesel pumps are bagged off. The one I finally found that wasn't covered is slower than pumping molasses in sub-zero temperatures and the receipt printer is broken. This is some serious neglect for this many pumps to be AWOL. FYI I pumped .8 gallons in the time it took me to write this..... what a joke. read more

Dont buy gas here if you use a credit card. Bought $40 in gas and they charged an additional $150 pre-authorization to the card without our authorization. The amount will be removed in 5 days. I call BS. This is some sort of crap/scam. We have the funds to ride this out, but what about those people who dont? Shame on the Flying J. Posting to social media. BIG MARKETING MISTAKE! read more

This travel center is by far the worst!! The showers are filthy you can tell no cleaned it after it was used there was hair all over the toilet and someones used wash cloth still in the shower. Then I go to Denny's for a bite before bed and forget about it very very rude and unprofessional young lady with no etiquette for her job just classless and careless. Unfortunately I was there a second night and get this, no delivery service from any restaurants, grub hub, Uber eats, ect. There was only one Chinese restaurant and they charged me a 7$ fee for delivery. Very bad location for a 34hr restart. Also horrible for service and showers just disgusting. read more

The bathrooms are pretty clean. Not bad for gas station bathrooms but could use some attention to be considered clean. Several women's bathroom stalls so it is nice not to have to wait in line. Nice big store area. I would stop here again especially considering the lack of good stops off the highway in Tallahassee. Plenty of room if you need to stretch your legs inside. Also plenty of gas pumps. read more

The staff at this store are some of the best I have seen anywhere. They are friendly, hard-working and it is evident they appreciate their customers. The place is always clean and well stocked. My favorite stop in the early morning each day! read more

Not many Flying Js in the area as Pilots tend to be more common. A nice spot. Fairly large. Reasonably clean. 5 RV spots.

We were in and out quick. Nice and big. Bathrooms were clean. Cheap gas and great snacks for the road.

This place is amazing! Great spot to stop for a rest or a quick fuel refill on your way to or from Florida. It's got a Denny's, good food inside the store itself, showers, game room, barber shop (!!), laundry room with lots of machines and clean bathroom. Highly recommend! read more

This stop offers cheap gas. What used to be a truck stop now caters mostly to travelers. Pilot is owned by flying j so you get just about the same thing across the street. Dennys restaurant is in the flying j as a place to eat. Food is ok but prices are high. read more

I came here this past Monday stayed night. They have friendly staff clean showers good deli. I was able to relax. I decided to come back today to avoid Tampa rush hour in the morning. We were watching a movie in the lounge and three guys came in from their trucks went up to counter and asked for game to be put on. They obliged. Very rude no consideration to others to other drivers that were in watching a movie and relaxing. It got loud everyone left except the handful of guys that came in. If I was coming back here I would stop elsewhere for the night except maybe fuel a d eat here and leave. Not the least bit pleased. If I was not out of drive hours I would go elsewhere. Whatever staff the two ladies who worked tonight very rude a d unprofessional. read more

Don't stop for gas until you can get Martha the manager to clean the ladies bathroom. Never apologized, simply spoken to her employee and repeated my complaints of dirty floor and gross bathroom. That place hasn't been cleaned in years it's a shame cuz the gas prices are good and usually the Flying J has very clean bathrooms. read more

Not the best Flying J, not the worst from a truckers point of view. The Denny's was BAD. Lettuce in salad was beyond old, bacon was charcoal, chicken soup must have been from a very old can. Not the waitresses fault, but she did try to charge me for a side order of shrimp I never ordered. Check your ticket if you are unlucky enough to have to eat here. read more
