Most times,…read moreI am fighting to get up and down the aisles of the stores because there are boxes everywhere! It's like the stockers can't ever keep up and they just leave stuff everywhere. Now that I mention it....isn't that a fire hazard? Anyway, this Dollar General is pretty large in size and not over loaded with unorganized inventory. The staff are always friendly and helpful and visible just in case you have a question or concern. Here you can find great deals on everyday buys. Be sure to download the app to your smartphone and get the digital coupons. These help to make already inexpensive products even cheaper and an added plus for manufacture coupons if you don't get the Sunday paper! Take note of a frequent coupons for $5 off any purchase of $25 or more. (TIP: Be sure to have the cashier take this coupon off PRIOR to any manufacture coupons.) This store is highly recommend for your everyday needs.

Location is the best thing about this store. My experiences's here have been mostly good when…read moreinteracting with employees but even when help was plentiful, they are always short handed. Yesterday I asked for a key to the bathroom from the lone cashier and she handed me one to the mens room. Fortunately a different employee was back there and said it was fine to use. Later, when rounding a corner, a merchandise post scraped my armed cutting it. At checkout, when I told the same cashier about the incident, she didn't respond so I repeated myself. She said "I heard you" and kept ringing up. She was so awful that the customer behind me loudly said "RUDE!" Such a shame that a paid employee has zero consideration for customers much less having her employer's back. A small child could seriously injure their head, the liability is there waiting to happen. This is a WALL of unsafe conditions. I'm posting a picture of the prongs from the side, they need to be taken care of it and the cashier shouldn't wear a necklace with her name on it if she wants to behave this rudely.

This review is written with mixed feelings. If you're looking for cheap gas... this is the place!…read moreDriving in from Lake Talquin, this is the first gas station on the route with reasonable prices. As you could guess, the farther out with fewer choices, the higher the prices climb. If you're "in town" this is the stop but... my next part is the reason for the poor rating. I ventured inside for lottery tickets. I play regularly and this was the slowest experience EVER! I had winning scratch-offs to be scanned which is my usual. The guy scanned each as expected but most places will scan one after another. This guy scanned one, waited for the print-out and stapled it to the ticket... then the next for minutes. I was rolling the winnings to the next set of tickets and he had to count them one at a time. My usual place of purchase (and most others) have realized if you count 5 or ten and continue to fold over, you really don't have to count. By the time he was finished the line was about 15 people long. Pumps are fine but inside was a fail. You decide.

But again cheap gas rules the roost. I have to give 3 stars just because of the cheap gas. Nearby competitor gas stations have to set their pump price based on the Murphy pump prices. Talk about peer pressure LOL!
