Friendly and courteous service. A bit run down. Cars fly in and out; almost got hit walking.

This location does not honor the prices that they clearly have listed in their store.

Half the pumps were out of order, one had a non-functioning credit card reader, and the pump I had to move to pumped VERY slowly.

Can't recall the last time I ate anything from Culver's. Maybe this was my first time? To me, they…read moreare a mash-up of Wendy's and Dairy Queen. I did DoorDash for this order to my hotel. Loved that they sent my food secured and also put a barrier on my ice cream. I ordered their single butter burger with cheese and all the trimmings, with crinkle fries and a cement mixer of Andes and butterfinger. Honestly, this was better than the other two meals I had here. The burger reminded me of Wendy's, although I think the ingredients I added on weren't as fresh. I got a lot of crinkle fries and they were cooked to perfection. The cement mixer was amazing. You can choose multiple flavors, but the butterfinger/andes combo actually tasted great! I wish they would've prepped my burger a little better (that's the main reason for the star bump). I would absolutely pick this place over any Dairy Queen, McDonalds, Burger King, Five Guys, etc. Worth getting if you're hangry!

Well, this aint no Wisconsin fish fry comment. Just one from an old southern boy. My wife and I…read morewent to Culvers on Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee. She ordered Fish dinner with 2 filets. It came with a roll, slaw, Crinkle Cut fries and, in her case, 2 filets. The roll was a bit dry and inedible unless you hadn't had any bread for a long time. The fries, although were crinkle cut out of a bag no doubt, actually tasted pretty good. The fish was pretty good too tho, imo, too lightly salted. The Cole slaw was surprisingly pretty good flavor wise tho a little saturated with whatever type dressing they use. I ordered a PUB burger which was a double meat with cheese burger, aforementioned crinkle cut fries. The bun was also a bit dry, intolerable in the world of sandwiches on bread. I had to moisten it substantially with a load of ketchup so I could eat it. I considered dumping the bun, just eating the meat. The workers there were pretty good on the ability to deliver customer service. They actually know how to smile, unlike some of the dull eyed, people who resent their own existence and having to WORK like those at other fast food places. If I go back to Culvers, it would be strictly for the fish, hold the dry roll. As for a hamburger, I think I'll just head on over to Whataburger for that.

Tallahassee is no stranger to fried chicken joints, and Slim Chickens slides right into that…read morecrowded lineup with ease. While it may not reinvent the wheel, it delivers on what matters: tasty chicken, fast service, and a decent overall value--at least as far as today's quick-serve prices go. I grabbed the kids meal (yep, no shame), which came with 2 tenders, fries, and a drink for about $6-$7. Surprisingly, it was just the right amount of food, especially given how pricey fast food is getting lately. The chicken had a satisfying batter--crispy but not greasy--and their Cajun ranch sauce was a standout. Fries were just okay, nothing to write home about, but they did the job. The staff were kind and efficient, staying low-key even while the place was packed. The dining area was busy, but the drive-thru was clearly the main event. If you're looking for a quieter experience, dining in might actually be your better bet. Despite the name "Slim Chickens," don't come here expecting a bunch of healthy options--it's more in the Zaxby's, Guthrie's, or Chick-fil-A realm: comforting, fried, and familiar. All in all, it's another solid option for fried chicken in a town that definitely doesn't need another, but I'm not complaining. Just hoping my wallet can keep up if I keep eating out like this.

Awesome Lunch For…read more$11.49 I had a very delicious lunch from Slim Chickens #2 located at 2329 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee. I've been driving by this restaurant for the last 6 months, but today I decided to give them a try for lunch and I'm glad I did. The parking lot was cleaned with ample parking and the outside of the building, including the outdoor dining area, was very clean. The beautiful well-designed lobby, including the front counter and self-serve fountain drink area, was also clean. Not a sports bar, but there's several TVs positioned in the lobby for entertainment while dining enjoying your meal. Customer service was awesome and placing my order was a breeze with a well-positioned menu that was easy to read and understand. The wait time to receive my order was about 3 - 5 minutes. I ordered the new 10 Piece Tender Bites Meal with fries, Texas toast, and a drink served with my choice of two house dipping sauces: barbeque sauce and honey mustard sauce. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and served hot. The chicken, which was large for bites was tender, moist, juicy and had great flavor. The toast and fries were also hot and very good. I'm used to dining at Chick fil A when I want nuggets or tenders, but I may have a found my new dining option while working in Tallahassee.

McDonald's - Literally drenched my shit in ketchup up and mustard most definitely will be there in the morning I'm not nobody to be played with

I live in north Texas and I always order the same thing at McDonalds. Just a hamburger with extra pickles. In Texas, that simple order results in either a hamburger with NO pickles or a hamburger with TWO pickles. I was curious about Florida's interpretation of a hamburger with extra pickles. It was a hamburger with ONE pickle. I'm not even mad. It was so ridiculous, I got a good little laugh out of it. It was good, just needed the extra pickles I ordered. The staff was distracted but friendly.
