Total Wines Loyalty Program is Total B-S! So happy to shop and browse this massive location for a Halloween-Harvest gathering and Staff party. Met with fantastic women sales associates, and dropped a stack! But when it came to rewards points, coupons, and supposed e-mails none came. Manager Nick gave a lame excuse and customer care still hasn't corrected. Rewards, coupons and bonuses being repeat customers especially IF you constantly advertise them! A huge surprise coming from Houston was that Tallahassee had a store that was larger than our Memorial location. The second you walked in it was a wine lovers delight with varietals from every corner of the earth. Not at a loss for customer assistance as there were many people that came to assist us . I am so excited the Total Wine has arrived in Tallahassee. Now I don't have to make a stop in Gainesville or Jacksonville. Of course I got my coupon in the mail and decided to make the voyage north of town on the official opening day. Ended up picking up two bottles of rum and whiskey. I love that they have so many options that are not available at other local liquor stores. They have over 8,000 options to choose from. . It's about time! A Total Wine & More opened up late last year in this city and I just recently visited it. Location is quite ample. It's spacious and there's plenty of free parking. Employees are polite and helpful. You can also find just about any type of liquor there, so that's super convenient for parties. I do have to say though that I found their gift bag and general gift area limited in comparison to others of this chain. Perhaps I just didn't look too much? We were essentially in and out of this store, so definitely have to return to get a closer look. read more

Nice selection of spirits and a mostly friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is one manager there that either doesn't know his job or just likes to B.S. customers. He once told me on the vault pics that whatever doesn't get picked up gets sent back, right. Today they had a spirit in with a sign one per customer so I purchased one anf headed to the car my wife was still looking around and she snagged one and the manager came over and said that he shouldn't sell it to her because I already bought one and it is o e per customer. We'll my wife be as spunky as she is said that he is correct one per customer, not household and he might want to change the sign. Then this guy tells her they don't have to change the wording he also tells her he has talked to me severall times about this which is total B.S. My wife then said they could take the alcohol back and he said he would let it go this time. I called a couple other total wines and some said they actually put out there one per household, others said that her buying one and me buying one isn't an issue. Made a pitstop here on my way to visit family in Alabama from Orlando. I love that they're ready to feed you liquor when you first walk in the door. Yesterday I was out running errands and ended up in the plaza where Total Wine & More is located. I knew my boyfriend ran out of his Cabernet the night prior so I asked if he wanted another. This brave soul (wine snob) trusted ME to get him something good. I am a beer girl. We are a bourbon couple. Wine? That's his territory. I love the staff at Total Wine & More. The gentleman who helped me (I feel bad I didn't get his name) understood my goal and budget. It took him 2 seconds to recommend something. I left with a wine and got to dangle the "I'm not telling you" over my boyfriend for a while . It turns out my wine snob man LOVED the recommendation! Initially this place was great and tried to provide a premium appearance. However, the last two trips in have driven me away. If I wanted to see half empty water bottles strewn about or trash in the aisles I'd go to Walmart. Nothing is more unappetizing then a stack of empty sample cups stacked up next to the liquor bottles. Staff is uneducated and really only qualified to read the labels on the bottles. The first ten feet of the store puts on a great Fassade for the rest of the store. But it falls apart quickly. Oh and Wolcott bourbon is not as good as Weller. Please stop telling people this just because you can't carry it. There is a lack of mid tier bourbons that appeal to the average person. I'll stick with Market Square liquors. Better people, clean stores and better selections. read more

Good selection of wines. I know they just opened so I will return to see how things pan out, but I was surprised that they had samples of a ton of liquor but not a single wine sampling station open. I was able to find some of my favorite niche French wines here so that was great. I wonder if there is a way to request specific wines? Also I took a sample from an employee who then kind of made a jarring remark "are you just here to drink samples all day?" When I had a cart full of wine that I was going to purchase and only had one tiny sample...It's fine but I was confused! I'm chalking it up to opening month ;) read more

Went in to buy alcohol, approached the checkout desk with my 22 year old girlfriend... She didn't have her ID so we were sent away (understandable). I come back an hour later by myself to buy the same products. Manager Frederick and checkout clerk refuse to serve me once again. Frederick was not helpful at all and quite frankly standoffish.
