I stop in here occasionally for a bottle of Jameson, Bailey's or a top shelf vodka or rum. It's a convenient location for me, plus it's clean and the associates are super nice and helpful. This particular visit was fun because it was bustling as it was the night before Thanksgiving. I saw neighbors and chatted for a bit. They were also having a sampling of several different kinds of alcoholic beverages. I did not partake because I was in a bit of a rush. I was asked by several associates if I needed help finding anything. I told one associate that I had heard about salted caramel Crown Royal and was curious. I didn't see any on the shelf with the other Crown Royals. She told me they didn't have any, but offered to call the other location to inquire if they had any. She came back and told me they had like 87 bottles lol. So, I will be stopping by the ABC liquors on Thomasville and Bradford this weekend for sure. read more

I've shopped at this ABC for the past 15 plus years without issues. There is a new employee that feels he needs to make sarcastic comments on my Tequila of choice every time he rings me up. The first time he made his comments I purchased a bottle of his recommended Tequila. Next visit told him I didn't care for it and went back to my standard. Every time since he's harassed me on my purchases. A few minutes ago I put my two bottles on the counter and was ready to make my purchase when he started up again once more. I told him I didn't care and just wanted to make my purchase. He then proceeded to argue with me to the point where I said I'll just go to Total Wine where they don't give me grief over my purchases. As I'm getting in my car he runs out of the store and tells at me "you need to check yo attitude." For what it's worth I shop at ABC enough to be granted access to Vault purchases about half a dozen times a year. Moving forward, as long as he's at the register I'll be at Total Wine. This is a decent liquor store. I usually go to Market Square for my purchases, but this place is conveniently located, has okay prices, and okay selection. They have everything you would need for a party and usually walking distance from wherever the party is taking place. Can't ask for much better than that- average, but decent, with no real complaints. read more

I really think the staff has been great over the years of shopping here. They always ask ifI need help finding something, and their selection is vast. Prices seem about right, as there may be better deals at local shops for some things, but buying occaisional wine or spirits doesn't warrant the ad shopping required to save a buck. read more

First time doing a vine run in Tallahasse I found myself hitting up the ABC on Thomasville Rd. The selection was quite good. The prices were OK as well. They had some decent vine in the acceptable price range and that's all it was needed for the dinner. However, the fun stopped there as the staff was quite rude and made it seem like they were doing a chore instead of running a business. Still given the location, it is most likely I'll come back here. read more

When it comes to sprirts im normally a Market square guy but this time i decided to shop at ABC on Thomasville rd. They are a bit pricey in my opinion but maybe its because of the ABC name. I still like market square a little better. read more

While I cannot judge whether they are accurate or not for the dates they were posted, I can say that they are not accurate for 2018 at all. Current staff are really super folks! read more

Horrible treatment by staff. I was followed around and badgered by an employee offering "help" for 10 minutes. I repeatedly said no thank you. Eventually he interrupts a conversation I was having to demand I give him my bag or leave. Claimed it was a policy (I have been a customer for years and it's never been a problem). I certainly wouldn't have minded if there had been a sign/he had simply asked the first time he came up to me instead of pretending to help. He stalked me around the store and either made up an excuse or selectively applied a policy to get my bag. This is after I heard other staff telling him to stop. I just left, badgered, and since he made it clear ABC does not want my business I won't be back! Loyal customer of years lost due to his awful treatment. If this is a real policy, put up a sign, apply it to everyone, and don't pretend to be helpful/stalk me around the store. Would give 0/0 if possible and I'll go give my money to Publix! Edit: Well look here. Years on I haven't been back to an ABC store and they appear to be disappearing from Tallahassee. Good riddance! Overpriced and rude, they deserve to go out of business as they appear to be doing. Be less rude next time! read more
