This is my favorite pilot/flying j in the area. Always clean and the staff is friendly. My family owned a trucking company growing up and we always stopped at the pilot for home style food - clean bathrooms and good fuel prices. Only place I can get the big bag of cheddar pretzel combos lol. And I can get my addiction at the soda fountain. Cherry diet Dr Pepper. Tonight I grabbed a meatloaf platter on my way home from work. The girl behind the counter offered the gravy from the pot roast for my mashed Potatos even though I got meatloaf. Their meatloaf is pure childhood memories. Thank you! read more

The gas station is great. The restrooms are clean. This place has everything you could need while at a pit stop. But..... GAIL working the Cinnabon area handles the desserts with NO GLOVES ON. Before she helped my husband with his order, she was over by the registers handling papers and touching a million things. So I was SHOCKED when I saw her come straight from that area over to the area where she's handling food without even washing her hands!! So gross!! read more

Well as far as gas stations go this is as good as it gets. 16 gas pumps, clean restrooms, all the regular snack goodies, fresh fruit, and a Wendy's in the same building presto everybody's happy. I came in early Friday 6/11/21 at 5 in the morning and also went to Wendy's that is attached to this Flying J and went into the Flying J afterwards for some snacks. I became extremely ill the next day and could not figure out why and I went through my trash can and Found A Little Debbie's apple pie that I bought from them that turns out was already 7 days expired!! It expired on 6/4/21 Not sure if that was the cause or not but 1 week old food seemed like the culprit. After I was able to feel a little bit better I called Flying J on Saturday and told them what had happened asked to speak to a manager; they said that there wasn't a manager available? I told him the situation and gave them my name and number and they said they would call me back later that day if not the next day at the very latest. The following day (today, sunday) After not hearing from them I called them myself again and I was told by a manager that there was nothing that they could do about it. They didnt even offer an apology refund or anything. Quote said "well theres nothing we can do about it" I'm pretty blown away how bad I could have made this and all i wanted was an apology or SOMETHING for them selling expired food and the best part is; the Wendy's manager told me this over the phone and he would not grab the Flying J manager nor transfer me to him and he told me " well that's what he said to tell you it was that there was nothing we can do about it" and the flying J manager wouldn't even tell me that himself! Anyways here's a pic of my wrapper. Time to call corporate since these clowns dont really seem too concerned with their operations/products. I will update my review if they attempt to make this right. Imagine a 1 star review for your business over $1. That's how petty I am when it comes to my food. Imagine buying 1 week expired milk from the grocery store and accidentally giving it to a child or family member? Unreal. And then to not even care is where I draw the line. I fuel up here frequently. On one occasion I had just started the process of getting the pump started when I got notified of a family emergency. I went into panic mode and nearly left with the hose still attached to my car. Fortunately, I fixed that prior to actually starting the car to drive off. After the family emergency was handled I realized the state I had left in and I wasn't sure if I had even gotten any fuel into my vehicle or if the pump was still set to my credit card. I called to see if anything had been charged. The person that answered was very patient and to assure me that my card had not been charged by anyone coming up behind me checked to see if there were any charges to my card. She was very kind about the situation. It was much appreciated. read more

I came specifically to this station to fill my motor home with gas because they have propane also. After putting in $147 in gas they tell me they do not have anyone that can fill propane. Don't wast your time going to flying J . read more

Went in and bought a Red Bull sign says 2 for 5.33 or 3.19 each , bought one and got charged 3.80 register says 3.49 I asked her about it , she said they are more expensive when you buy them that way . Won't be going back there read more

Bathrooms were clean. The main reason I stopped was to get my rv propane filled. A young woman came out to do it. Said she didn't know how to do it on my 2021 TV. The only person who knew how to do it had just gone to lunch. I wasn't able to get propane. Flying J is a truck stop and only having one person trained to pump propane is bad customer service. read more

Is truck stop food any good? It can be. Flying J only makes 3 dishes on a regular basis. And quite surprisedly...they are all delicious. Fresh salads, eggs, and killer pre-packaged sandwiches for your lunch. Way better then fast food. Actually stays in your gut longer, if ya catch my drift. Very friendly staff, I know most by name. Nice lay out. No cramped up isles. Fast service. Oh, and the choices for coffee...well they kinda put that overpriced Starbucks around the corner to shame, cheaper too. They call me..trouble, I kinda like that name. read more

This particular Flying J is newly built and opened just November 2017. Lots of fuel pumps for everyone and a very large parking space for those driving commercial vehicles to park, shower, get something to eat and much needed rest. Inside has a large amount of square footage for cooler cases, food racks, a well stocked coffee station, and just about anything else a traveler might need. They have a Wendy's inside adjacent to the store, as well as Cinnabon if you need a delicious cinnamon roll! May I add that the staff is fantastic and they try very hard at the register to cover each point of sale so no one has to stand in line very long to make a purchase. read more

This is the second time, the lady behind the counter that's servicing the freshly made biscuits, eggs, potatoes, pizza etc area never said can I help you or can I take your order. I Stood there for almost ten minutes and nothing. Wasn't but 4 people in the entire place with 3 cashiers. So I stood in front of her register, nothing. She said nothing just glanced at me an walked too the far end to help another customer. The nice lady at the Cinnabon counter glanced and smile so I bought the most unhealthy but very tasty warm Cinnabon I've had in along time. Flying j you need to step your customer service up. We drove through the town three years ago during a rainy day. Never expected such a fabulous place, least of which a gas station, in this far-flung place (we are fro the Bay Area). It is luxurious! Super clean, super big, super well stocked with all the goodies for the road! And the ladies working there were all super friendly! I am a jaded old man who tend to complain, but I must chip in my two-cent worth of words about this place. What a warm, tender and pleasant experience it was for us on that rainy, otherwise gloomy day: Flying J Travel Center was an oasis in the vast desert seared into our collective memories! Keep up the good work. We may drive to Las Vegas in a month or so, and I look forward to the opportunity of stoping by and using the resort-like bathroom again! read more

Since we are truck drivers. We only made a pit stop here there's really nothing to report just to get diesel, bathroom breaks and buying a couple of items nothing really to report. The customer service is always mediocre at these places. read more

Cleanest truck stop in America. Lots of room to move around. Friendly, helpful staff. Multiple food choices. Haven't stopped here before, but it is I'll be a regular stop for me now on my 6 hour drives to and from Las Vegas. I usually go a bit off the freeway when I stop In Tehachapi so the trek here won't be a problem for me. It's worth the trip off if US 58. read more

Great service. Better variety than Loves, who seems to only care about their trucker cleientel. I would get it, if truckers were the only people they catered to. But, it's not. Sorry kids. The gas station itself is fine. The manager Tonya however was very rude. My 5 ft 3 in son who is almost 13 wanted to wait in the car while I ran in and got a drink from Wendy's. I was the only one in line and wasn't gone even 5 minutes. Tonya was at the Rv dump and saw me get out of car and walk into Wendy's. When I came back out she told me she was going to call the cops because the law says he can't be in the car with windows up. I informed her that this wasn't the law and quoted it for her. She then threatened to call the cops again. When I asked for the manager she said I am the manager. When I asked for her name she refused to give it. The law states if a child is in the car under the age of 6 years there must be someone 12 years or older in the car with them. Obviously my son is old enough to be in car caring for younger kids. read more

Good staff at this truck and auto stop. Coffee and drink station always clean or being cleaned. We go here not just for fuel but we love the fresh ground coffee. read more
