This place is one of Mojave's hidden secrets. I've driven past here a million times on the way to…read moreMammoth but never gave it a second glance. If you've ever driven up the 14 to Mojave I'm sure you've noticed that store on the corner with all of the sexy dresses on mannequins in front. Well this place is right across the street! Anyway I stopped here one time to grab a snack and wow, my mind was blown! You can't tell from the outside but the inside looks pretty new they must have done a full renovation recently. They have a krispy krunchy chicken kiosk right inside the store, and a full on seating area and restaurant that serves made to order pizzas. I've never gotten a pizza, but I've gotten the fried chicken many times and it is delicious! I can't speak for every day as I only come on Sunday evenings on my way back from Mammoth, but every time I've had the chicken it's always really fresh and crispy so they must be cooking it pretty regularly on Sundays. With that said, make sure you pick the pieces that look fresher, I've had hit or miss luck with the potato wedges and biscuits. Both are bomb when fresh, but I've had days where it's stale and tastes like it's been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile. If you're not trying to eat chicken though, the selection of snacks and drinks is HUGE. Much bigger than you would get at any normal gas station convenience store. Also, they have large clean bathrooms. These are not janky run down gas station bathrooms, these are super clean and well maintained with plenty of space and good lighting. The gas here is generally cheaper than everywhere else, so if anything this is a great place to fill up gas and use the restroom. There's also hand scooped ice cream, an automated milkshake machine, a a rad mural on the outside. If you're passing by the area I highly recommend a visit.

They sell Thriftys Ice Cream cones, they even have the cylindrical scoop! They have all the snacks you might want, they even sell fried chicken, mojos, pizza made to order, pastrami sandwiches... and the viral Asian fruit shaped ice cream! The prices are a little higher, it it's a convenience store in the middle of nowhere so stop complaining. The gas was a good deal and the restrooms are clean!

What a beacon in the night this place was!!!!! This was not your typical situation.... Some friends…read moreand I were on a casual run from San Francisco to Las Vegas (like on foot!). We were coming up on our second night of running through the night. Learning that Love's had SHOWERS was like finding an oasis in the desert! Well, that's what Love's is right? My group arrived at Love's around 2am. I was the last runner and eager to rinse off all the grime from the last 40 hours. We were greeted with such friendly service. Even though there was a wait for the showers at 2am, the attendants were really friendly and curious why a bunch of women in running clothes were wanting to shower in the middle of the night. We nearly blew their mind when we told them we had run there from San Francisco. The showers were really clean and so were the towels. The whole process was really simple and everyone was able to get their showers in before we continued on. Love's also had a great selection of souvenirs and snacks. I'll probably never be in this situation ever again but Love's was probably my favorite thing from that day! Many thanks to Love's for existing and being our oasis in the night!

And this store in Mojave is conveniently located off the freeway. This market is nice and clean and very well-stocked. The aisles are wide and orderly. Their selection of meat, cheeses, liquor, produce, etc. is excellent. They also carry flower arrangements. Employees are helpful and polite. Every time I needed help getting the meat I wanted that were on sale, they always accommodated. This time I got very well-trimmed flank steak, which is excellent for Chinese stir frying, for only $8.99 a pound, much cheaper than even Costco. I really like this supermarket.

We are so grateful for the Stallion Springs General Store! We were in the area putting on a…read morewedding, and this little store was an absolute lifesaver! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the store was amazingly well stocked. Who knew the bridal party would suddenly need straws to drink? No problem -- they had straws! After making eight visits over two days, they even knew me by name! That kind of friendly, personal service is becoming harder and harder to find. Thank you, Stallion Springs General Store, for helping make a very busy wedding weekend a little easier. You guys were awesome!

Everything from food to house slippers and a neck pillow. Customer service was awesome. Shout out to Jackie. We had a good time talking to her. She was super friendly and helpful. This a cool spot for a small town.
