Flying E Ranch was an amazing experience for me, my boyfriend, and my city slicker kids. It is such a beautiful location, so relaxing, and Andy, Josh, and Randy we're so good to us. we had a blast horseback riding, watching the roping, playing games, and relaxing in the jacuzzi at night. they customized each meal our our wishes and needs, and were amazing hosts. driving us into the hillside to see the copper mine was an added bonus. 10/10 recommend!

Spent almost a week here in June, and the staff is amazing. A very immersive experience with clean rooms. Cold water and lemonade available, a large and beautiful property, and great activities such as horseback riding and off-road travels. The best steak I have ever had in my life, no joke. Hope to come back one day.

Worst bathroom ever. Ancient and poorly designed. Shower ark 2 ft low. Ridiculous. Modern amenities? There are no happy trails on this 3 day birthday only wasted tine money and no way to do anything but walk a tired horse for 2 hrs. At half the price it's no bargain. At full price you've can't be serious. Post you might deny a person who's been riding over 40 years because your the first riding ranch or academy or wrangler to pull that stunt of walking only. That's bordering on fraudulent from my view sweety. I have had better rides for $12 an hour. You need to post a warning on your site about first ride walking pace only. 2nd ride we will let you walk only. This is a walking fee for walking your horses that was sold constantly for 3 days like a used car salesman after you were informed over and over not interested in a 100% boring ride and I do mean boring. As far as trying to teach me where I can go. I can go on a trip to the Caribbean in JAMAICA for less money than I paid for a three day weekend. I don't need you're nonsensical excuses. You are advertising modern amenities from the 40's as you response. Please take that nonsense elsewhere. The riding was first problem bathroom next air conditioning next and tv next. The bed worked. Whoop see doo. One thing worked I guestbthat justifies the $380a night. Not in my life. I've stayed in old beTuo farms with better rooms

Just finished a family trail ride. 5 stars go to Flying E- well cares for and friendly horses, amazing views of Wickenburg countryside (Vulture Mtn) and superb trail boss + staff wranglers. Thank you to Aaron, Rick & Patty for making our ride special and the highlight of our trip to Wickenburg. We did not stay at the ranch, but would consider it! They offer breakfast & lunch rides. The staff of Flying E are top notch!

The best part about this guest ranch is that it is small, intimate, historic with a rich history where everyone will know your name. Not a mega resort! The rooms are modest but decorated with western art and quite comfortable. The bathrooms have been be recently updated. Ken - ranch manager will greet you with a genuine smile and treat you like famIly. The food served family style is very good and quite filling. I signed up for the American Plan that included 2 rides a day, 3 meals and your room. NOTE-- rides are at 9 am and 2 pm. Plan you arrival and departures to take full advantage of the rides. The horses are in great condition and the wranglers will pair you with a mount that fits your skill level. Special call out to head wrangler - Bart who made sure our rides were all that I expected and more!

Wrangler(Jason?) was interesting, polite and since I was the only one on each of the rides we covered a lot of territory. Room was clean and decor was authentic western. Stables and tack room where neat and lodge, dinning rooms where clean. Good signage when you get off the main road to find the office. Fun activities such as Archery, target and skeet shooting, swimming, games , cattle and cards. No TV which is refreshing. This way you get to really talk to guest and staff or not. Cool town of Wickenburg 10 minutes away. Happy hour everyday at the ranch before dinner with nice cheeses and food. Come here for the riding cuz it's some of the best especially after a good rain.

He was amazingly patient yet insistent on the result I was looking for and kept every promise he made. I've had just two months of riding lessons with him and Aldo had my horse and I going down the trail in the 30 days we agreed to. Would highly recommend Aldo for training with any horse or person for riding lessons/horsemanship - highly knowledgeable, honest and will do exactly what he says/promises. I'm a beginner - he's provided so much knowledge for myself and my daughter via horsemanship lessons and has been incredibly patient with my learning curve. We couldn't be happier working with him!

I'll explain my issue in detail because I think it's important to understand just how bad it was…read moreand how much progress Aldo made in just 1 visit. I purchased a 3-4 year old mare recently knowing I'd have to put a little training into her. She was barefoot (never shoed), I was told she had not had her back feet trimmed because she would not let the farrier handle them, and the last time they had her fronts trimmed it had "been a fight"... and this is only a 13.1hh horse! Her previous owner had worked with her but made no progress and for that reason just wanted her gone. I myself had helped friends with their large horses who had issues with their back hooves being touched, I've helped them teach their horses to stand still, allow their feet to be touched and I have even helped them twitch a couple horses when needed. But THIS mare would not relax, twitching did not work and she did not just try to pull her feet away (as my friends horses would do) she would actually try to swing her rear towards you and intentionally kick out at you if you reached towards the rears, she'd also attempt to bite you in the back if you tried to handle the fronts. Other than this foot issue she is actually very sweet and has decent ground manners. Her fronts were in bad shape when I got her to my stables so I had a farrier out the very next day. The morning of his visit I gave her some magnesium and a light sedative to help calm her, even with sedatives I had to hold her head to prevent her from biting while he worked on her fronts which she continuously pulled away from him, he said he would try the back feet last because he "had a feeling" she was going to lose it when it came time for the rears, well, he made 1 attempt to pick up a rear hoof and she made it very clear it wasn't going to happen, so once again she went without her rears getting done. I had another trainer come out, he spent some time with her but never even put hands on the rear legs, he actually looked perplexed about how to go about the issue because she kept kicking at him, he said he thought she might have had a bad experience previously because she was abnormally apprehensive, he made NO progress and his only advise was that if I was going to have him come out again that he would like me to ride her for 40 minutes prior to his visit to get rid of some of her energy ($40 down the drain). Then I had Aldo come out, although it seemed everyone else who dealt with her felt like she was a special case and weren't sure how to handle her, he knew exactly what to do. Being that she is a mare with a little attitude, I was glad to see she became comfortable around him pretty quickly and after doing a few exercises she had no issues allowing him to pick up her fronts. By the end of the lesson he was able have her stand free and untied and lift her front feet fairly effortlessly, she would also stand still and allow him to touch her back legs which she had not done before. He had also taught her to "stand" still on command, I wasn't sure she'd remember the "stand" command after his lesson but she has totally retained it and it has come in handy quite a few times since the lesson! She also has continued to allow us to lift her front feet. I was thrilled to have undeniable results after just a single lesson and would highly recommend Aldo for any horse training needs.
