Truly, we won't recommend Flyhomes, and NOT recommend Liya Zhu definitely. Please be fully aware of her "so called" confidence and "so called" experiences because it will mislead you in the transaction. During our purchase in the pandemic, Liya Zhu represented us as buyer's agent, but the tour agents were always different, and even the final walk through agent was different. Liya Zhu who is indeed in charge of the purchase procedure helped us with going through the documents only, and she would not help you with final walk through the property in person. 1) Issues about Keys' location, and mailbox number/parking space number. Before and During the transaction, we asked Liya many many times where the parking space located, she always answered with "so called" confidence based on her "experience", considering privacy some sellers would not let you know until the closure date. It sounds interesting, and on a second thought it did not make sense, as since the property is on the market for sale, whereas a seller still wants to protect location of carport, garage and mailbox??? But we still trusted Liya Zhu with good will. 2) There is a different agent named Dien Vo showed us for the final walk-though. On the final walk-through day, both Dien and us could NOT find a parking in the community during the important process of final walk-through!!! We talked about this seriously to Dien he said he would report it to Liya Zhu. We also discussed this issue seriously with Liya Zhu after the final walk-through, but it did not bring Liya Zhu into a fully alert attention. Please check the attached Flyhomes' final walk-through documents in two Versions, both versions state the keys, mailbox location and garage/carport location needs to be checked in the final walk-through. And we don't understand why Liya Zhu did not be fully alert to this, and did not represent us to confirm this information seriously with listing agent before we turned in the final check to escrow. 3) Then unfortunate and awful things really happened afterwards. On the closing day, Flyhomes could not locate the keys; in the meantime, Flyhomes replied the seller and the listing agent didnot know the location of the parking space/mailbox number at all. This community has hundred units, and the mailbox number and garages/carports number are not matched to the unit number at all. With no choice, we had to reach out to HOA on our own, they replied they had not received our grant deed from the HOA，so they could not release the info to us; and also the HOA said "we are the first new homeowner to ask them for the assigned parking information after purchase, they think it is unusual for a real estate property purchase, and they strongly suggest us to talk to our agent seriously". This means after the purchase, we had no idea where we could park our cars, and where we could receive our mail. In this matter, we talked to an attorney. His advice was that our agent, Liya Zhu, failed to do her duty as a realtor in our purchase, she and her team should take the responsibility. But in the Flyhomes Team no one apologizes. Even for Liya Zhu, her replies were she already delivered the message to the listing agent, and she thinks she has finished her job. First, during a property purchase, we need a realtor, not UPS, or Fedex, we don't need someone just helped us to deliver the message. Second, since and as she said she never got a reply from the listing agent regarding the details above, Liya Zhu, as a realtor, she should suggest and help us to stop the transaction first. But she didn't! All she, and all her team care about is the commissions. We are deeply and extremely disappointed with Flyhomes. Even at this moment, no one stands up for making an apology. And their reply is asking us to give them a second chance for future purchase or listing. It is absolutely ridiculous, Flyhomes, as a big company, they even don't have the courage to make an apology, will you dare to give them a second chance?! Not totally a fair review since I didn't end up using their service. After initial interest I scheduled a call with them. I'm not even sure what them means, since I scheduled it with one person and another person called me that I wasn't expecting. This "warm call", wasn't the greatest as they couldn't provide any details and seemed to be capturing info on me with little to return. Some of the info in the first call seemed to contradict my second call. This second call was considerably more detailed and this person could answer questions. It's always great for folks to provide an honest response to challenges - start-up life is tough. So while my initial disappointment is real, I appreciate the response. While I was hoping for a shorter run through of their services, I did appreciate the near hour he took on a Sunday morning to go over their cash and guarantee offers with me. Here are some pros and cons from my experience, I've never worked with traditional agent so my review is based only on this experience. Pros: Very organized team with clearly defined processes, so everything is super efficient. Dedicate group of people to take me to tour houses, which was super useful for buying a house during covid. Super easy to make reservations through their app. Great communication, I was updated on every step and they have a dedicated to do price estimate before bidding. Cons: Less personalized service comparing to traditional agent? sometimes I felt I was just one of the customers in their well defined process pipeline. In my case, my agent didn't physically tour the house I bought, only the tour guide came with me. I would felt more confident if she also physically checked the place.
