Submitted a request, they sent a text saying they would get back to me - it was the next day before…read morethey did. The person who called knew nothing about the information i submitted. They proposed a horrible flight with long layovers. I told them i wanted a different class and short flight duration, they did a search - gave a quote - but needed me to make the reservation before they would send me an email with the quote information. I told them i would call back. Checked online on one of the major travel booking sites, got a deal for 40% less in 10 minutes. Do not waste your time with these guys.

I submitted a flight request at 5pm on Sunday and received a "we'll get right back to you with a…read morequote" emailed response, as well as an immediate text message that an agent was working on it. The emailed response had both the return dates AND the arrival/departure cities incorrect. I responded immediately to give them the correct dates and cities, as they were originally entered into the website. It is now Tuesday morning, 36hrs later, and I have emailed a second time (directly to their response address, not through the website again). Still have not heard back from their "concierge team". In this 'immediate booking' world, you'd think a travel agency specializing in business class flights would respond faster...First time attempting to use this company. Will update review if/when they respond. UPDATE -- Still a 1 star rating from me. Have received 3 emails from Brandon, asking for referrals and to help me book if i have any upcoming trips or flights, as well as an email saying he was the one that helped me last time I flew with them. (I have never used this service before this attempt.) Still have not received a quote, or verification that they were searching the correct dates and cities. I called and left a voicemail, responded to their text confirmation, as well as both emails...still no price information.

I booked a trip back in Nov 2025 to go to Rome with three others in Sept 2026. Julz was great…read morehelping us set it up. However with all the issues going on with the new EES we have a one hour lay over in Munich to rome, we need to go to a differernt terminal and we are being told it is not enough time. I sent Julz an email on April 16, left a message April 17 still no response as of today April 20th. I called the main number to speak with someone else and it goes to Julz VM. I feel like they are blowing us all off with a serious concern. Will wait to see if I get a return call

You never said I couldn't book online or told me I needed to speak with an agent so service fees could be disclosed. I didn't even know you had Service Fees. A financially transparent, professional company would take responsibility, honor the ticket price quoted and not attribute it to a "typo." Even if it resulted in a small loss for the company, the amount of business and credibility you will lose once formal complaints have been filed far outweigh the amount of money you were trying to make. From your Terms and Conditions: Payment and Booking "You must contact us directly to make a booking. Because of the process involved to ensure you the best discount possible, we do not accommodate online booking. Once we discuss your travel details our agents will use a variety of searching methods to secure your booking. This process may take anywhere from several hours to a few days depending on your request. BCC's service fee will be disclosed to you when booking by our sales representative. By proceeding with booking or payment of ordered Travel Products, or using our Services, you acknowledge the service fee amount and agree with BCC's fees and the non-refundability, cancellation and refund policies described herein." I spoke with no one at the company. I suggest you re-read your own policies, which you did not follow. You were asking me to legally accept Terms and Conditions that you failed to follow.

I agree with Terrell…read more This is the worst travel agency I have experienced so far. I bought two tickets for me and my wife in 2008. Airlines and TSA require that the name of the passenger on the ticket should exactly match the name on the passport. Since my wife hasn't changed her last name we provided the name as it appears on the passport to the travel agent (Neetu Chopra) After making the payment for the ticket and the flight itinerary we were interested in, we got a confirmation email upon asking the travel agent. Clearly they didn't have an automated process to notify the customers upon purchasing tickets. I didn't bother to check the names on the tickets (which I realized was my mistake later on) thinking that the tickets would be purchased for the names that I provided in the email to the travel agent. Apparently the travel agent assumed that my wife had changed her last name and used my last name instead. Although this went undetected as I was happy to get the tickets in a short span of time, I decided to call Cathay Pacific, 48 hours prior to the flight, to confirm our tickets. The Cathay agent confirmed my wife's last name and it didnt match her actual last name. I explained the situation to the Cathay agent and she suggested that I call the travel agency and that they would be able to correct this mistake since it was their oversight. Since I didn't book the tickets from Cathay, the fees for changing the name would have been $100 but the Cathay agent told me that the travel agent should be able to correct this without any extra fees. I called Travel Merchant and reached another agent who told me that the agent (Neetu) was off on that day and he couldnt help me with my situation. Upon persisting that I had a flight soon I was told that Neetu would call me. After a few hours Neetu called me and after explaining the situation (that I has sent my spouse's name correctly as it appeared in the passport and the fact that it was in the email that I had sent her) she said she will do what she could and that she was not at her desk. I asked her to let me know as soon as she could rectify this problem. An hour later I called her to check if she was able to change the name on the ticket but she told me it was my mistake for not checking the tickets upon receipt. I was also told that the name can only be changed if I paid $200 extra. I tried calling the travel merchants office in burlingame to see if anyone else could help me but to no avail. I finally called Cathay and told them about my plight. They changed my spouse's name without charging any fees. I was glad that they were able to make the last minute changes as a one time courtesy. Travel Merchants has let me down. i had purchased tickets in 2006 and had a good experience so I decided to do business with them in 2008 but had a TERRIBLE after sales customer experience. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Look for some other travel agents or buy directly from the airlines. ( you may pay a little extra but the service is definitley worth it)

This is a super faltu place to book your tickets. Neetu is the worst of them all…read more She told me to change my ticket it would only cost me $50 and then I saw $250 charge on my credit card. When I called back, she stops answering my calls and when I showed up at the office, she said she made a mistake and can't do anything about it. Another big f* up was when she cancelled our flight tickets and promised I would get back one quarter of the total but never gave us any amount. Travel merchants are unprofessional, most dumb travel agents you will ever come across. I hope you go bankrupt!
