If you like to live at a place that raises it's rent considerably EVERY year then this is the place…read morefor you. They will sucker you in for the first year and then it gets jacked up after that. Also, if you like to live at a place that has high rent and thinks its a luxury apartment/townhouse complex but cheap product (meaning cheap carpet, cupboards, blinds, etc, etc) then this is the place for you. Under new management that doesn't allow anything like grills, bikes, plants, toys..... Last I knew they had 18 empties and people still leaving.....wont be long and this will be a section 8 complex

They most definitely jack your rent up every year and it's definitely not luxury. My apartment is…read moreslowly turning into a rut on its on. Remind you I don't have any little babies. The products are cheap. My closet door by my front door breaks every time the rude maintenance man attempt to fix it. It's to the point where I just let the doors dangle now. My blinds are missing like 6 and they broke while trying to open my blinds, on their own. He's also so rude, talks to tenants like they are children. I had to give him a piece of my mind a few times. My cabinets are falling apart. And they agreed to give me a echo dot when I renewed my lease. Needless to say 7 months later, I still haven't received it and they jacked my rent $40. And a few months ago they started sending out bills that cost $5 additional to remind you of how much rent you pay and when it's due. The reason "so tenants requested it" that's what the girl in the office said. AS IF YOU DID NOT SIGN A LEASE! I told them I don't need it to save my $5 but I still have to pay it! Any way to make a dollar. Like the other reviewer mentioned...this place will soon be a section 8 apartment complex and others still paying top dollar for these apartments. They need to upgrade these apartments for these prices.

This place sucks. We moved in 4 years ago because it was nice and cheap. Now it's not cheap and…read moreit's trash. We've been stolen from multiple times... In a place with cameras and locks. We no longer have a pool and it's basically the ghetto. The cops are here almost every day and it's section 8 the house. The rent will be $650 by next year and no improvements have been made. Do not live here if you can help it. I will give a better detailed review when I have more time. You can get a much nicer place and pay about the same... If you think it's cheap now, I am paying $100 more than when I started and still will be paying another $100 if I was stupid enough to stay here for longer. Run, far, far away. Between the trash people, the bugs and many other issues, it's not worth it.

Do not live here. The management is lazy and unresponsive, the apartments are old and not well…read moremaintained, and the whole place is a mess. The cops are here regularly and on two separate occasions there have been signs of forced entry on my apartment. Be prepared to be disturbed by loud music at all hours of the day. The hallways reek of smoke, and the lighting everywhere is poor. The management staff is lazy and inattentive. Everything needs repair. Almost all of the lights in the rear parking lot are out, the asphalt is in crappy condition with large pot holes, the tennis courts are locked and closed, the poor is opened as late as possible in the summer season, the buzzer system is broken, the doors are broken, and the appliances in the apartments are garbage. If you live here you can look forward to being routinely woken up at night by cops solving disputes, loud music, and other disturbances. You can look forward to rushing to your apartment from the dark, abandoned parking lot for fear of your safety, which regularly has tenants out at all hours of the night playing music in their cars and being disruptive. You can look forward to electric bills that touch close to $200 due to the 50 year old air conditioners. You can look forward to your air conditioner breaking down in the middle of July, only to have the management wait over a week to fix it because it is considered a convenience, while abandoning your apartment as it reaches 120F. You can look forward to closed and locked tennis courts that were advertised. You can look forward to passive aggressive notices informing you of new creative fees the management will charge you. You can look forward to the repair man leaving your door unlocked after completing repairs. You can look forward to a rate-hike after the first year of living. You can look forward to living in an awful smelling apartment. You can look forward to an apartment manager who's never on the premise and actively ignores your calls. This place is terrible. Please, do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. If you do live here, good luck!

Great people here. The apartments are VERY large and spacious. The tenants are all very nice, as is…read morethe office staff! Response to work orders is very quick! Landscaping is always kept up! I only have a couple gripes. I rented the 3rd floor one bedroom apartment. The people on the 2nd floor below me have to suffer when i walk up here, due to it sounding like I am stomping ....but I am not stomping. The berber carpet has virtually No padding, thus the 2nd floor hear every step I take. In fact, the floor even vibrates. I mentioned this to the office staff, they explained that the building is old, but sturdy. Which is true, as far as i can tell. My apartment inside is awesome, however; the appearance of the complex, namely its 1970-ish look should be updated. It reminds me of Kings Court in Miami Florida when I lived there and Donnie Brasco was there. But for the price you cant beat this place. It is close to every thing, I just love it here. Oh, my other gripe was that this building I am in, only has one washer and dryer for 12 units. Thats like crazy. The last place I rented via RentDotcom was in Orchard Park, NY, and it had 12 units but had 5 washers and dryers for the building. Currently I have like 40 lbs of laundry to do and cant seem to get to the washer before anyone else. So I have decided to sort through my laundry and throw out most of it. Oh well. Thats life. So to sum up my opinion, this is a Great Place to live! Oh, if you have pets, they have a Pet Building here! Very nice! I wish I had brought my dog, Im so lonely here. But thats another story. If you want a bargain apartment, with great staff, great neighbors, no drama, The Landings at Fountain Pointe is the place to live! Cheers, Carol

The place has a nice pond area and the staff is friendly ! They are rather quick when it comes to maintenance and usually correct the problem within a day and respond back quickly.
