Absolutely the worst ha haircut I've ever had in 58 years on earth. A toddler with dull craft scissors could have done a better job. I definitely would not recommend Tanya cut your hair. She might be great with color. In fact I like my color she mentioned she does extensions, but do not let her near your hair with scissors. read more

I originally went in for just a cut to clean up dead ends but since my roots were growing back in and created a harsh line with the blonde I had, she mentioned doing a halo to help blend it better and I'm so glad she brought it up because it made the whole look better in the end! I came in with light brown hair with a grown out blonde balayage. I wanted to go light/medium brown. The stylist dyed my hair black... I wanted semi-permanent dye. She used demi-permanent, and assured me it was the same thing and would wash out to a lighter color. I believed her, but later I found out she was wrong. Semi & Demi are different, and it hardly faded. I had to pay $200 to get my hair fixed at a different salon to go to a light brown like I originally wanted. 2 stars because at least my hair was shiny after she dyed it black. GO SEE AMBER (or any of the other girls - I'm sure they do just as fabulous of jobs). Amber gave me my goal hair! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that. She spent almost 5 hours with me, and was so sweet and kind. She really embodies quality, and knows exactly what she is doing. The salon has a really nice atmosphere, and everyone that works there is welcoming. Pricing is also very reasonable! So excited to come back. Alaina did such an amazing job on my mens haircut. I got a #2 on the back and sides and faded to a couple inch trim on top. The fading was perfect! She also tapered the back of my neck down. Seriously the best haircut I've ever gotten in my life! My husband and I have commented several times in the day after the cut that she did such a great job. Wow I am SO HAPPY with my hair!! I have had trouble finding a good hairdresser in this area worth the price. I often leave feeling like my hair looks the same or I wasn't listened to. But Victoria spent plenty of time making sure she knew what I was looking for and made it happen!! When the color didn't turn out exactly right she immediately jumped right into correcting it without me even saying anything. My hair is almost exactly like the pictures I showed her :). She made sure I was satisfied with everything often and kept me updated on what she was doing next. She and all of the staff were super friendly, the salon was clean and arranged for safe interactions during covid. I am so impressed and relieved to have finally found a good salon I can trust and look forward to visiting! read more

If I could leave this establishment a negative star review I would without hesitation. I walked in as an excited customer and walked out as absolutely the most devastated person ever. I went in for microblading with Kimmi (the owner of this 'Fluid Salon') I walked out with two different shaped eyebrows.. I shared my concerns with her and was told "trust the healing process". As weeks went on and my eyebrows "healed" they weren't ONLY shaped differently than one another but they were ORANGE. I again shared my concerns with her and was told "it will fade to a neutral color" again I waited.. waited for nothing as I am still left with two different shaped eyebrows, orange, losing eyebrow hair, and completely devastated. I was told to come in for a touch up for any corrections that were needed. I absolutely will NOT be making that same mistake. Once this microblading is stamped onto your face it takes FOREVER to remove.. a very long devastating process. I mean come on now, this is on your FACE. I'm sharing my experience in hopes to save anyone else from feeling devastated and stuck with something so horrendous on your face. Considering this is a hair salon I should've known not to go here in the first place. I was also informed during my appointment she only had a THREE day training course in Chicago. Shocking as I was under the impression before my appointment she had years of experience and knew what she was doing. You see ZERO "hair strokes" on my eyebrows and like I stated before, they're orange. You also can see my eyebrow hair underneath the orange color. It's an absolute mess! I would've had better luck giving my toddler a black permanent marker and coloring in my eyebrows. So unfortunately I am left truly heart broken, embarrassed, devastated, angry, and out nearly $400. So all I have left to do is wait and hope this will completely fade off of my face. Thanks for absolutely nothing but misery Fluid Salon. Got my hair dyed here and it washed completely out within 3 weeks as well as it now has an orange coloring in it (nowhere near what was requested). When I called asking why it washed out so soon and more concerned on why it's orange (my natural color is an ashy dirty blonde with no warm tones), nobody was able to give me a forward answer or suggest a solution and eventually ended up putting me on hold (without asking or saying anything). I tried calling back 2 times to see if I can find out why my hair didn't hold up to salon standards and my call was declined both time. Terrible customer service. I've never posted a bad yelp review but this was just so awful I felt I had to share with others in the community so they don't have to suffer like me and walk around with no answers and artificial strawberry blonde hair. So Thank you Fluid Salon for creating a mess on my head and turning your heads when I ask for help. read more
