Wow, disappointing. Started off really well with these guys and even left a glowing review for Shameel - until I realised that they actually have no idea what they're doing. They can't out multiple times to get the the source of the issue which raised red flags and what they were asking didn't feel right. Thank God I had another plumber come and have a look at my blocked up drains and they not only found the source of the issue, but they fixed it immediately and even recommended that we report flowsafe plumbing because they ripped us off $8k, did non-compliant work and then stopped responding to texts and emails. The owner, Theo kept telling me that he'll come out himself to see the work Shameel had done but then he stopped responding to all my contact attempts to. Not sure how your cameras missed a 2kg dumbbell causing our plumbing blockage yet you had all kinds of gadgets and were cutting up our concrete and things to "find the source of the issue". Thanks for the fishing expedition but next time, I'll go somewhere that values honest work and won't rip you off. We were able to find a plumber who charged $4.5k and did the job immediately and haven't had any issues since. Do yourself a favour and find someone who won't rip you off. My job was a simple drain unblocked that by the time he had got to my house had already cleared itself but to make sure I let him continue to clean the pipes anyway. He insisted on using the camera to look for faults and finally found what said was a collapsed pipe and wanted to dig up the backyard and I started to smell a rat. He packed up when I said I will look for it myself as he had already been here an hour. Final price, hold onto your seats.......$880 for 1 hours work, give this guy a big miss read more

We engaged the services of Flowsafe to clear out a blocked drain issue after looking at the prices online and speaking to the call centre. We were told this would cost $188 + $22 callout fee to fix. In total, the service took less than an hour but we were charged $1,408. Yes that's correct, $1,408 for a standard drain clearage service and for an hours labour. See attached images and invoice for how Flowsafe broke down this service charge and how this is excessively higher than what the market rate is for this service. On top of this, we were told that the one of our pipes in the backyard had 'collapsed' and that we needed an urgent fix to resolve it. They quoted $12,890 (see attached image) for this fix. Not only was this quote also extremely excessive based on market rates and the work that needed to be done, it turns out they had not collapsed at all and we never needed this service. Looking at other reviews it turns out this isn't the first time the apparent 'collapsed sewer pipes' card has been played. After trying to contact Flowsafe to reach an agreed invoice adjustment amount based on what the actual market rates are for this service and what we were initially told, they have ignored all correspondence. I'm currently in the process of escalating this with the ACCC and VBA as they have continued to ignore my emails. read more
