There was literally NO ONE (customer-wise or salesperson-wise) on the salesfloor. After I walked around a few minutes, a secretary, greeter, or whatever finally looked up from her phone and noticed me. I thought it was odd that none of the salespeople noticed me, but they were all too busy behind their computer. I told her that my builder told me to see Kathryn (I think that was her name, but her card was filed in file 13 pretty quick, so not sure). She had me wait, while she conferred with Kathryn (100 yards away). She then told me to follow her to Kathryn's office (again, such an important person). When i got there, Kathryn said "do you have an appointment?". I told her no, that i was not aware an appointment was necessary. She responded with "I'm sorry your builder didn't tell you that. I have an appointment coming in at 4 (it was 1:45) and my appointments last 2 hours (Math was obviously not her specialty).What about tomorrow?" I told her I live 80 miles away. She still didn't want to help me. Again, she had 2 hours and 15 minutes before likely her ONLY appointment was to arrive. I set an appointment for the next week (she was available all day, every day, any time-just not today). I left and told my builder that I had never been treated like that by anyone, anywhere and that I wouldn't give my cash (yes, I was paying cash) to anyone that was so rude and self-important. I drove about 3 miles down Lakeland and found beautiful tile, flooring, backsplash, ect. The owner was more than happy to see me without an appointment and he was the only person in the building (he even gave a discount for paying in cash!) So long story longer- not sure if this place is a front for something else(maybe a Learing Center), but do yourself a favor and go someplace where they actually want customers.

The sales people aren't friendly. The first time we went to this business, to pick out carpet and…read moretile, there was no one else in the store and the salesman, Michael, was doing nothing. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a carpet sample and returned the next day to purchase. Again, not a soul in the store but the saleswoman, Leah, told us Michael, our salesman, was out of town and we would have to come back. Because we don't live close to the store, we requested Leah assist us and she very reluctantly did so and it was obvious she didn't want to. I never heard of a business where salespeople won't help each other or the customer. The measurement appointment was set for two days hence and took 2 minutes. I called the next day for installment info and Michael told me he hadn't heard from the measurement guy who was busy doing other measurements and he would let me know when he heard from him. It's an order for a simple square room, for carpet and pad that is in stock. They couldn't call the guy? It's been 6 days and no word from anyone. I guess that transaction doesn't generate enough commission to warrant the sale and that's too bad, because we're doing our whole house.
