I hired Rick to supervise a crew to install 30 tonnes of pea gravel and 3/4 in rock in our backyard. The scope of the project was to staple fabric across the area, which was approx. 0.15 acres then wheelbarrow the gravel to different areas around the backyard and finally rake it even. Rick was on the project every morning with a positive attitude and strong ownership of the daily work and for the overall project. It's stressful having people doing work around your property for a week, but his team was completely reliable, self sufficient and conscientious about noise levels and such. I also appreciated how clean Rick and his crew left the work site each night. They'd pick up any debris and tools and were ready to go for the next day. After the gravel landscape installation, Rick stayed on to oversee the landscape maintenance of our half acre property with 47 varieties of plants, bushes, trees and grass and over 1000 ft of irrigation. The first year they overcharged the time they were here, and after a couple of months of calling, adjusted the price to the one hour they were actually here doing work. This year they charged the same amount so I assumed they overcharged the time they worked. Wrong! They reported that there were 3 men doing one hour of work. Both years I kept track of time spent and men present and this past year I had one hour of work done by 2 men. If you hire this company, be present for the work, record time and maybe take a picture of how many people are working (even though that's creepy). This year is our last year of working with Groundskeeper.
