When asked about colors, I specified red and black to match my brother's outfit and his date's dress. I was informed that the boutonniere would be a simple red rose and that black ribbon or any additional color customization wouldn't be included. While that wasn't exactly what I envisioned, I agreed since I wasn't sure where else to go on short notice. I was charged over the phone at the time of the order, and when I picked up the flowers on Saturday afternoon, the arrangement looked very simple--more so than I had expected. It included baby's breath, which is white and not what I had asked for. I had hoped for a more coordinated look in red and black. The most disappointing part was when my brother went to put the boutonniere on and mentioned it felt loose. I took a closer look and realized the rose was broken. Even more concerning, it appeared someone had inserted a paperclip or rod to hold the broken stem together, which suggests it was knowingly handed off in damaged condition.
