Sam is so sweet and has a calming personality. The morning of the wedding the bride was stressed and worried about all the details falling into place - but as soon as he arrived his calming energy was contagious. His flowers were perfect and he genuinely cares about his customers. He gave the bride a huge hug and had her laughing in no time. He even stayed around to help the bride with last minute issues that had nothing to do with flowers. He didn't have to do that - but he wanted to help make the day perfect for the bride. 2. He is a great communicator. I know that my best friend (the bride) was never worried about the flowers - he reassured her every step of the way and listened to all her needs and went above and beyond to meet her every floral wish. 3. The final product was beautiful. Sam really outdid himself at our wedding last weekend. I sent him a photo of my shawl and headpiece, mentioned a few flowers I really liked, said I liked drapey arrangements, and Sam went to town creating the most gorgeous and romantic arrangements and canopy I've ever seen. Not only is Sam from Flowers by Sam an incredible florist, his creations are not just standard bouquets and centerpieces- they are individual works of art. I first met Sam at a wedding expo and immediately feel in love with his ability to run with a theme - and being that I wanted a "Vintage Rock and Roll" motif for my big day, that's exactly what I needed. Sam took the time to sit down with my fiancé and I at the start, as I described our plan and how I was not a "traditional" bride in that I didn't have specific "musts" or "don'ts" for flower types, but rather wanted to keep in a color palate and hit the theme. He continued to patiently go over even the tiniest of details over the course of 8 months, even as our ideas and theme evolved throughout the process. And the results were stunning - beautiful deep reds and purples, with a classy rocker flare. I don't know much about flowers nor am I a big flower girl and honestly I really didn't care to have centerpieces for my wedding. Yet when I met Sam and explained to him our Batman themed wedding he immediately had ideas flowing. Which ultimately made me excited to see the outcome of our flowers, the only request we had was that our flowers be based off of the Joker and man did he make that happen!!! My wife and I just had a wedding on 10/12/12 and it was incredible. Sam had a HUGE part in the success of our wedding. We had a very limited budget for 80 people that included an outdoor ceremony as well as an indoor reception. Let me tell you why Sam was so freak'n amazing... -He went out of his way to meet us and discuss what we wanted. He made amazing suggestions and ideas from his experience as well as his masterful creative mind. And incorporated his flowers and ideas into exactly what we were looking for. -Sam went out of his way again to help us obtain a fire permit to allow for candles at our venue. With that he included a mock up of the centerpieces, which we were also able to take home afterwards as a preview of what was to come. -Now this next one was very important to us which really helped us feel secure and prepared... He checked in on us constantly to see how things were going, if we changed our minds, what he can do to help, if we needed anything more. He did this quite frequently, which was very re-assuring and just amazing for another person to do that. He arrived as early as he could to the wedding to ensure everything was set up and to our liking. And he also came at the end of the wedding to make sure everything was cleaned up! -He has a wonderful personality, very creative, very helpful, and a freak'n flower genius. -Incredibly reasonable with price.....and he worked with our budget.
