Incredible service meets personal attention and quality flowers at Flowers by Freyhammer. Everything about this store feels intimate, and that includes the quality of service you get from the staff here. My wife and I worked with Steve to provide us with the flowers for our wedding, and he really went above and beyond to deliver (literally and figuratively). We first met with Steve about 6 months before our wedding and he paid attention to everything we were looking for on the big day. He showed us some options (both in person and in a photo book) and made some recommendations without pressuring us into any particular orders. After taking some notes, he asked us to come back in a couple weeks to take a look at some samples he was going to put together for us. We went back as requested and he had the samples waiting for us on schedule. At that point, he asked if there was anything we wanted to change and we provided some suggestions. Altogether we stopped by about 3-4 times for changes over the course of those 6 months, and Steve never gave us any grief. He simply took our requests, offered some recommendations, and made all the changes we wanted, organizing and showing us new samples every few weeks (at no extra cost). Steve was also wonderful at working with our budget and offered us a terrific value with all the flowers we were ordering. Having looked at other florists (especially professional wedding florists), we found there was no reason not to go with Steve. He offered the same kind of flowers with even greater service (we could really tell that he cared about making our big day a success) at a lower rate. What's not to love about that? And on the day of the wedding, our flowers were beautiful, delivered early to our venues and exactly as desired. Overall, I would definitely recommend Flowers by Freyhammer, whether you're looking for flowers for a small occasion or large affair. Great and helpful people working here able to suit your specific need for the occasion. They work within your budget and even throw in a few extra things to make the arrangement look nice. I came here on a few occasions, this being in close proximity to my house, and I loved what was given to me every time! I needed all my prom gear, they had me set in a day! I needed a few flowers for my best friends memorial and they helped me pick the ones that best suited the occasion. I am impressed with the level of customer service this florist provides, in addition to the fact that their flower arrangements are beautiful. They are not just the standard FTD arrangements you normally see. It is obvious they put great thought and artistic flair into their arrangements. When they did not have a particular flower in stock for the arrangement I selected online, they called me (in California) to let me know and gave me several other options to choose from, that seemed to me to be more expensive but lovely, so I was willing to pay any upcharge for the substitution, but there wasn't any upcharge! Most florists just make a substitution without letting you know. I was very impressed with their extra effort. They were very professional and extremely friendly and nice. He gave me his full attention and created an arrangement that was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Stunning. He also confirmed the delivery date and time a few days before the event. Besides getting a AAA rating for creativity and the freshness of the flowers, they obviously have a very good computer system that works like it is supposed to. We ordered a funeral arrangement (Lavender Memories Spray), which we chose because it was a little different than the others, especially that it was a diagonal arrangement. He was honest with us saying that the purple gladiolus would not be open in time, and offered to substitute purple snapdragons instead, which was fine. The arrangement was a good size, but not diagonal, which was the main thing we wanted. We did not know we needed to specify that, as that was the only arrangement pictured like that. After letting him know what we wanted the card to say, we had to call back a few minutes later and add a name to it. He said he had to re-write the whole thing with the added name. When we saw the arrangement at the funeral home, the message we had given was missing- it was just a list of names and the handwriting was so bad, people couldn't read it. read more
