They were quite expensive but given that they were what I thought was well constructed and stylish I felt it was worth the purchase price- When I did my patio clean up this season I noticed that the black finish on pots was defective although the pots were still intact . I was not concerned because I always felt Almas was a reputable business and that they would certainly do something to rectify the situation. I went back today and showed them photos of the pots because they were too heavy to bring in. Well I was shocked by the uncaring response of both owners- they said oh you need to paint it ; then stated it was a close out ; or I should have taken them in and then insinuated that a stroller hit it ! Mind you I am 71 hrs old , the planters are in my back yard and I haven't owned a baby stroller in over 30 years . I told them I was never told to bring them in - I had no clue they were merely painted ( I believed that the color was impregnated into the clay) . Bottom line is that they did not stand by their merchandise- I will never buy anything from them again and I extremely disappointed in the lack of responsiveness of what has always been a neighborhood staple ! I would give negative or no stars if possible. Buyer beware

(Two) I found a beautiful ivy in a pot wrapped around brown branch things and I was ecstatic. It was perfect. It was also not too healthy. It was the only one. Knowing my track record I put it back with the sales associate. Hopefully it was saved. I found another one in a hanging plant pot so I bought that one. I am happy to report it is still alive. It looks a bit pale and dry but it lives. I didn't find the other plant I was hoping to buy but I purchased a variation which I am happy with. It also LIVES !!!

Flowers are picked up after standing around for a few minutes with workers showing no interest as to why I'm there. I look around to see my pre order is on the floor amongst other pick up or delivery orders. (mind you, the door is open and this place wasnt exactly that cool inside so that those flowers are temp controlled to stay fresh) I pick up the arrangement with my name on it, and motion to someone so I can show my receipt and leave. Arrangement is average at best, and not worth the $80 I paid for it.....and the roses had a slight wilt to them/brown edges on them. A couple days later... the roses are on their way full wilt! I see this as a rushed job and lack of care for the arrangements or the customers who are going to receive them. I've been here a few times before, but looks like they're either under new management, or new owner. Won't be back.
