I am blind and the staff at this florist or extremely helpful and accommodating. Not to mention, the flowers smell amazing.

I regret to write this because whoever I spoke with was genuinely a really nice guy but the flowers were so disappointing. I have never used this florist and needed a local florist to deliver flowers to my mom in Newark. I told them they can use their best judgement to create something really nice. I paid ~$80. I explained I didn't want a standard bouquet and wanted something vertical like a one sided front facing arrangement that you might see in a lobby. I told him to try to make it as tropical and bright as possible, vibrant and fun. I said no daises and to avoid more traditional, old lady tones. He told me that's fine but that it wouldn't be that high, and I said it's okay just do what you can. What I got was a very small and low bouquet with lots of cheap filler flowers. It's also not tropical or vibrant and certainly not anything like a reception arrangement. It's not bad but certainly not worth $80, and I would have been better off ordering a $40 bouquet from 1-800-flowers. I am really stunned by what was delivered given what we had discussed and agreed upon. I do not recommend at all. read more

Flowers by Francis came recommend by a Family member for my Grandmother Funeral ... The arrangements where delivered on time ,but arrangements look nothing like the pictures that were shown to us at the shop....I was very specific on what I wanted even though he did let us know it would be smaller because of our buget .. $170.00 for a Funeral Spay , I knew it would have less roses then the one on the picture ,  because it was very pricey so he would make it smaller  but would look similar .. the arrangement came out looking  nothing like the one in the  picture !!!! (original one had 24 roses and mine's had 0 roses and was not pretty at all !) I was so disappointed that I went and got 3 dozen of roses from the nearest ShopRite and a flower arrangements. We did go back to the shop rite after the  Funeral to demand an explanation for such work .. He did try to explain that it was our buget !? And that one wouldn't bring roses ... Really?? Wow $170.00 and not even 1 rose .. He seemed Very Sorry and wanted to make it rite , We did get back some of our money .. but stuff like this should not happen in such a overwhelming time like the lost of a love one . read more
