Because of that, we needed to have her buried the very same day she was brought home from the hospital. Honestly, I'm still not sure how I held myself together enough to do any of this. My daughter and I walked into Weidig's that morning, overwhelmed with grief, crying, barely able to get the words out. We arrived mid-morning and needed multiple arrangements - flowers from the grandchildren, flowers for my mom from the siblings, and individual flowers to place on the casket - all for that same day. Not only did they manage to create and deliver everything within just a few hours, but the flowers were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. What they did felt nothing short of a miracle. Beyond their incredible talent, they were so kind, compassionate, and heartfelt during one of the hardest moments of my life. For my latest order I selected the "Designers Choice" arrangement and while I didn't receive a photo, I was told they were "Splederiferous" by my grandma. Since I've ordered a few times I'm also on their email list and they send promotional emails, including reminders around the time of previous orders which I thought was really thoughtful. I also liked that they sent email updates notifying me when the flowers were out for delivery and when they were delivered. It allowed me to call my grandma to make sure she received them/knew that she had a gift waiting for her at home.
