Not only did I call on the busiest weekend of the year in Annapolis, MD.... I needed them same day. MARY helped me with my order and what a treat she is! MARY was SO helpful, communicative & DONNA is the INCREDIBLE creativity behind the bouquet's! I called at 9 am & by 3:30 pm that day I was picking up the most BEAUTIFUL bunch of Designer's Choice bouquets (+ an orchid!) and I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN happier! From the quality to the cost, helping me to the car, the packing & care instructions were perfection. The Dining room bouquet came set a beautiful glass pumpkin and I was thrilled with them ALL! Being from South Florida (where astronomical prices for minuscule bouquet's) is the norm .. I was SO VERY HAPPY I chose FLOWERS By DONNA for this very important (& VERY busy) weekend! To Donna & Mary: if you're ever down in Palm Beach FL., I owe you ladies a drink (or 3!) Thank you again! Sincerely, Emily from M/Y-!

From the very beginning, this family-owned business treated us with kindness and understanding, which brought us comfort throughout the process. The flowers were vibrant, beautifully arranged, and held up exceptionally well, looking fresh and elegant for both the visitation and funeral service. Their delivery was timely and reliable, giving us one less thing to worry about. The care and attention they put into every detail truly honored my father's memory. Here's the thing: they're a small outfit. They do deliver, but it's best if you pick up. It's also best if you order in person over the phone, and work with them on what goes into the bouquet. And because they're a small outfit, we tend not to use them on Valentine's day--I have a feeling they may be overwhelmed. But they're a great local business, and everything I've ever gotten from them (repeat customer here) has been absolutely stunning. In particular, they're good at getting fresh, long-stemmed roses that last a long time.

Inka is phenomenal; from what I gather she only does special events and only takes a limited number…read moreof clients at a time. Inka was our floral designer for our wedding in May; we met her at her home in Annapolis to review what we wanted. She is a soft-spoken professional who knows her business and takes the time to ask a lot of questions about your vision for the flowers on your wedding day. We were married at a friend's house and Inka met us at the site to take a look at the space and discuss what we might need. She offered a lot of professional advice when she realized we didn't have a wedding planner; advice on things outside of the flowers. She didn't have to spend so much time on this, but she is a very kind-hearted person who genuinely cared about us and our wedding day. I collected by own milk glass vases & compotes in the years preceding the wedding and had a very definite idea of what I wanted and didn't want. I gave her info on the color palette I wanted, the types of flowers I liked and that I wanted all of my arrangements to be different from one another. She listened carefully, offered wonderful advice and arrived early on the day-of to set up. She even decorated the tables with props that we supplied. There was a miscommunication regarding whether or not this was included in the price we were quoted (very likely my fault - my mind was shot that close to the wedding) but she adjusted the price to include the set up of the props at no charge anyway. - She decorated an incredible arch for us to get married under - My bouquet was outstanding - There were tons of arrangements, all different, but all in a cohesive theme - The tablescaping she did for us was lovely All of the arrangements were lush and gorgeous - they were top notch and looked incredible. Inka was great about staying in touch with us. Even though she was making trips to Germany to see family, she returned our emails and was great about answering our questions and making sure we were comfortable with the price we were paying. She helped us find ways to stay within our comfort zone while still getting exactly what we wanted. I did not come away feeling like we were compromising or being deprived when we needed to revise the original plan to stay within budget. She was an absolute master of her trade and I very highly recommend her work.

I provided a general overview of what I was looking for--such as ceremony decor, bouquets, and reception flowers--and requested information for pricing. We did not discuss specific flower preferences or my budget. In response, Rhonda informed me that her wedding packages begin at $5,000 and, based on the services I described, she indicated that she would not be available to service my wedding. This was unexpected, especially since she had come recommended by a friend who had previously shared her cost breakdown with me. I was simply seeking more information, and never indicated what I was willing to spend. While I found her style of florals to be somewhat outdated and not the style I was looking for, I reached out based on the positive referral. However, I was disappointed by the dismissive tone I received. Given that this is a heavily word-of-mouth business, I find it difficult to understand how she can build a client base if she is so quick to dismiss potential clients based on limited interaction. Ultimately, we found another florist whose work not only aligned perfectly with our vision but also led to our wedding being featured in a magazine. I've since continued to recommend this florist to others because they treated us with professionalism, respect, and courtesy from the very start. Sometimes, how you treat potential clients makes all the difference.
