I wanted an extravagant, elegant bouquet for my sister in law as a special thank you to her. I called this shop 4 hours ago and spoke to the woman about what I wanted in general and a few flowers I did not want included. My sister in law just texted me that the arrangement had already arrived, and they were the most beautIful flowers she has ever received. Thank you so much, Flower Power. Highly recommend. read more

I own a flower shop in Utah and I called Flower Power with a last minute special request. They exceeded my expectations and took excellent care of my order. I highly recommend them and will for sure be calling them again! Thanks! read more

Two stars for the friendly owner, but the floral design is horrible. Honestly they should be embarrassed with what they send out of that shop. I've told everyone not to send me flowers from here, and I've decided after my last visit to never return. I've said it for years, but this time, I'll stick to it. read more

I give them two thumps up. Through out the years 10 to be exact they have helped me with all my especial celebrations including birthday's, baptism, 1st Holly communions, baby showers, anniversaries, Valentines day, Mothers Day, for get well soon and including for funerals.......... They are great once you call them the first time you will experience the great service they offer. They already know me and they treat my orders very personal. I only have to give them the address and if it goes to a certain hospital or funeral place you only have to mention the name and they do everything else. They are wonderful and take their work very serious. Ron is the best, he is not only honest but a very wise man and always listens to you. Cindy is also great and she is very nice and friendly. I truthfully recommend them. They are the best and they have been around for many years if you don't believe me give them a call. Sincerely, A loyal customer read more

If I could give a 1/2 star I would, possibly none at all! They get the half for delivery the same day. However, what I ordered was not what was sent to the recipient! It looked like my 7 year old made it. The picture showed more than 2 roses! It horrible! I saw the picture of the bouquet and was very disappointed & felt ripped off! I will stick with Ponderosa Shoppe - they get 5 stars! Go there! This place is a rip off! read more

Last week, I ordered a Serenity Wreath online, requesting next-day delivery within Camarillo; I'm 99% positive shipping was $9.95. The beautiful wreath was delivered before services began, as requested. I received emails confirming purchase and delivery. read more

When I got married 15 years ago, I hired Flower Power for my $40,000 wedding at a posh beach club in Los Angeles. I was told by a local (don't remember who; long time ago) that RON, the owner and florist, was the BEST florist ever and an respected floral arrangement instructor. When you see the store front, you will be disappointed because the quality of the shop itself is just so-so. It is old, with the words Flower Power painted on the window, kinda cheesy, and the store is kind of messy with only a limited selection of vases, etc.. But you will NOT be disppointed with Ron's work! He creates unique floral arrangement with high quality flowers and is completely dependable. He delivered my flowers to the beach club in LA on time, coordinated with the cake company (The Bread Basket) and also decorated my cake beautifully with flowers. The best part is, his prices are also reasonable! Since then, I have used Flower Power whenever possible, including my Grandmother's funeral (covered the casket with gigantic pink roses). My sister also used Flower Power for her wedding with the same fabulous results! I was at the Camarillo library this summer and saw Ron walk in with a gorgeous lilly arrangement, super contemporary and stunning. He supplies all the gorgeous flower arrangements found in our amazing library. I cannot give Flower Power a full 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1) shop could really use a serious facelift and 2) Ron is not the friendliest man you will meet. He smiles but it seems a little painful and forced to me. He is a man of few words but he understands what it means to stay on budget and still provide beautiful flowers, dependably. In the end, that is what mattered to me! read more

Flower Power of Camarillo just recently completed the wedding of my dreams. Ron, the owner, read my mind and gave me exactly what I wanted and then he did things that I never even thought of! He went above and beyond our expectations. I loved our wedding and it was largely for the way his genius florals set off the other elements already set. Ron was also very involved; he came out to the wedding site in Santa Barbara with a mock-up arrangement, he was able to work with containers we provided and he communicated with me really well via email. We told him our colors were Peacock and Copper and he was able to translate that into brilliant florals with great variation and textures. He and his wife are a brilliant team you can trust. read more

LOVE THEM. Ron the owner is really nice and helpful. We order every year for a large recital and everyone always comments on how beautiful the roses are. I came in one weekend and they were making the cutest princess table arrangements for a huge Gala. You will not be dissapointed. read more

I honestly can't say enough great things about Cindy! Her pricing is very competitive with the local florists but her personal touch is above and beyond! She was really great about meeting me and my planner in person to go over the flowers that would work best with my theme, time of the year, and colors. She also did a complimentary mock up for us of the centerpieces so I could get a feel for how everything would look the day of. When I saw everything come together I was extremely happy! Our wedding arch, the bouquets, boutineers, and corsages, centerpieces, just everything was flawless. Highly recommend this shop for your wedding needs! read more

This place has beautiful flowers and are very efficient. I ordered a small bouquet online for my friend who was having a bad day, around 10am. The order was delivered by noon that day and the bouquet was arranged beautifully. My friend said the gesture and the flowers made her cry. Thanks to this company! read more

Don't waste your money ordering flowers from "Flower Power" of Camarillo, California. I received some of their flowers for my birthday, and their flowers didn't even last one day, and to make matters worse, their flowers were taped to the vase - how tacky. read more

Alright, so I ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers and the order came thru Flower Power. I am not sure if I need to write a review on 1800Flowers (which they do not have a yelp for) or Flower Power, but I'm giving one on BOTH. I was sending sympathy flowers to my grandparents for the passing of my uncle (which I needed sent THAT day because that's when we all found out)...I ordered through 1800Flowers because I received points from Chase and because I watched them on a TV show and really liked their companies view (Undercover Boss). My grandparents called me as soon as they received the flowers and said how grateful they are and how beautiful the flowers were, I was jazzed, I thought "Great! I know a fantastic place to order flowers from now!" Well when I arrived home on Thursday and saw the arrangement I was not satisfied. The picture on the website and what was delivered to my Grandparents were not similar (well they were comparable but not what was advertised). As long as my grandparents were happy, that's all that mattered. But, I called 1800Flowers and let them know that I wasn't fully satisfied (but the recipient was). They refunded me 50% of the price and sent me a $10 gift card. read more

It's always my preference to contact a local florist whenever I have floral needs anywhere (we live on the East Coast), and I feel so lucky to have come across Flower Power about 4-5 years ago. They're definitely my go-to florist because I know I can count on them for gorgeous, fresh flowers. My mom (who lives in Camarillo) raves about every arrangement for at least 2 weeks because that' s how long they all seem to last! Because we live so far away, I rely on this florist's consistent quality and service No matter who answers the phone, the staff is always very pleasant and helpful with creative advice, and their prices certainly beat any of the national floral services. If I had them, I'd give Flower Power TEN thumbs up! read more

I called Flower Power on recommendation of Padre Serra Parish Church who was doing the flowers for my dear Aunt's funeral. I thought I knew what I wanted but the lady who answered the phone, Cindy, felt what I had picked would not have been appropriate. She said that she would make up a larger arrangement for around the price of the item I had picked. I was a little nervous because I had no idea what it would look like. The arrangement was beautiful! All of the flowers they did for the service were beautiful also. I highly recommend this florist - beautiful fresh arrangements and a great value too. Thanks! read more

I called and asked how much a wrist corsage was and was told "$24.99." I then asked if they had the rhinestone keepsake bracelet. The woman said yes, "I have one left." I said, "OK, I would like to buy it." I was told "it is $10.00 extra." I said "fine, I will take that." " I will pick it up on Saturday afternoon." When I go pick it up, I was given a TINY three rose wrist corsage with a plastic crystal-like bracelet. I said "this is NOT what I ordered.; "I ordered the rhinestone bracelet." The woman at the counter said "that is the last one left; I almost sold this one to someone else; I thought you were not coming." The corsage had NOTHING else on it, no baby's breath, tulle, ribbon, greenery, NOTHING. PLAIN. It looked more like a boutonniere. The roses were already wilting. I told the woman at the counter I am not happy with this. She said "talk to Cindy" (I later find out she is the owner's wife). I told CINDY I was not happy. I said "look at the petals, they are torn and browning." She just pulled off some of the petals. I again said "I don't think the girl will like this." She offered no apology. I was hoping she would offer to make a new one. I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE. EVER. This was my second time ordering something from them. I ordered a wrist corsage for my sons's homecoming date and he told me her corsage fell apart before getting to the dance. Maybe wrist corsage is not their thing? NOTE: My sons said he felt embarrassed when he saw the wrist corsages that other girls were wearing. He said his date's corsage was a "JOKE". I feel so cheated! :( read more

I LOVED working with Flower Power for my recent wedding. I had gone to the web sites of many florists and been intimidated by stuffy attitudes and prices. I walked into Flower Power and talked to Cindy who listened to what I wanted and gave me very reasonable prices. Cindy was so incredibly helpful throughout the process. She is down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She provided us with centerpieces our guests are still talking about. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. I had underestimated the impact of the flowers and greenery at the wedding venue. The incredible displays Flower Power put together exceeded all my expectations and the prices were great. Thanks to Cindy and all at Flower Power for truly making my dream wedding come to life. read more
