I searched yelp,to find a local florist to deliver an arrangement to my sister. I did not want a one line florist. I found this one with a 4.9 rating . Bernardo answered the phone and was very helpful and patient. He delivered the flowers the same day even though I ordered them at 11:00 and they arrived by 4:30. I picked one from a picture and they were even better than my expectations! Thank you Bernardo. read more

Truly 5 stars! My wife works in Oxnard but, we live in Thousand Oaks. For special occasions I like to send her flowers. I sure wish I would have found Bernardo's sooner!! Man, I wasted A LOT of money on online companies (ahem, FTD! Yuck! And others!) Bernardo's sends nothing but the FRESHEST flowers and are very receptive to my requests. Top-notch. Upon entering you are greeted with the smell of fresh flowers . The glass casing holds beautiful flowers bouquets in vases that are absolutely gorgeous. I came in needing a corsage and boutonnière. The gentleman that assisted me was friendly and gracious, he showed me a sample and an order was placed. When I picked up a few days later the flowers did not disappoint, they were exactly what I needed. Thank you! read more

I absolutely love Bernardo's flower shop! This is the 3rd time I have had them deliver flowers for me. I live in Virginia now but still use them for delivery service in the Ventura/ Oxnard area ! Hands down the best flower shop I've ever been to. I've had so many friends recommend other floral shops and I've tried a couple of them and they've all been underwhelming compared to Bernardo's. Every flower arraignment I've ever gotten for my wife has been fresh and very vibrant. I've been coming here for over 5 years and I'll never go elsewhere. Text book perfect staff as well. Bernardo's is a 5-star experience! Customer service goes above and beyond. I had made a delivery request that was earlier than their business hours (should have checked in advance) and was personally called by Jose who kindly informed me they could not make that time frame but will do their absolute best to deliver at their earliest convenience. I really appreciated that. I had no issue with it and the delivery was not only a success for our mother's birthday but the flower arrangement itself was STUNNING. Beautiful, fresh and colorful. After phone order:Award winning service by Edgar. Below is a picture of the arrangement I ordered. EDGAR sent it to me as I requested and then my friend who is very sick sent a picture as well. She saiid the arrangement made her day. That was music to my ears. Time of phone order: My first time ordering and what a wonderful experience! Jose from Bernardo's flowers is amazing! He is so patient and really takes time to make sure you walk out of his business feeling happy. I ordered an Angel wings flower arrangement for a loved ones funeral. He went above and beyond to reach out to his vendors to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately due to back orders his vendors did not have the product. Because of the times we live in now it is understandable. But we found a solution to get what I was looking for. It gets a little hot, so early is probably better than later.

I live in Northern California but was raised in Oxnard. I was looking to send my mother flowers for her birthday. I came across Bernardo's website and liked their selection. I ordered the arrangement that is shapped like a puppy as my mom loves puppies. My wife called the shop to see if they can deliver them in the morning and without hesitation they said yes. Originally started using this florist because they were convenient being next to my daughter's dance studio, but then they moved and I tried another florist. Sadly the new florist, while nice, just didn't compare to the spectacular bouquets and fresh flowers from Bernado's. Didn't realize just how good they were until I used someone else. Their bouquets were always fresh, full, and beautifully arranged. Even when I just wanted a single stem it would be thoughtfully packaged.
