What I ordered versus what I received. It's unacceptable to order from a photo online and receive something completely different. "The order was filled with what they had". Of course you don't see them until after they have been delivered so it's very awkward to have them redelivered and swapped out after the fact. So the only thing you can do is have them redelivered (and how do you know they will look right the second time) or you can keep them and have the delivery fee refunded. I will not be using them again nor recommending them. read more

Im gonna start off by saying this bouquet was terribly put together and they should be ashamed of themselves. The first photo is of what the arrangement is supposed to look like and, you guessed it, the other two photos is what I received. Where are the tulips? This place is a joke. The roses are old and already starting to die. Placed the order for Valentine's Day. And a few days later it was dead. It is so embarrassing to gift someone special this arrangement. I could've made a better arrangement buying flowers from a grocery store. And it would've cost me less than half the price this cost. Will never again purchase from them. I love supporting local business but the lack of professionalism and care put into this arrangement, has left a terrible impression. UPDATE: adding 2 stars for customer service. I emailed the company before I submitted this review and they did end up getting back to me, as appalled as I was. They made the situation right. Everyone has bad days, it's how you recover that makes all the difference. I'll try this florist again though I may not be rushing back soon. read more

Ordered flowers for my wife on her birthday, actually a day early. They never arrived, no phone call, nothing. Called about the issue, they finally answered the phone after letting the phone ring 2-3 minutes, they answered, then lost connection after being on hold for over 10 minutes. We needed same day birthday flowers for a friend in Nashville....we're in Tampa. Don't much trust the 800 flowers of the world so looked up a local florist on Yelp...who we do trust. It was Sunday afternoon and reached Katy at Flower Express, ordered, gave the delivery address nearby, paid, waited and the flowers didn't arrive. Turned out WE gave a wrong address. Next day, immediately reached Morgan, who got Katy, who offered to go get the flowers, refresh them at their shop and re-deliver to the correct address. That afternoon, we received a delightful call from our friend, the flowers had arrived and were over the top beautiful. Called to profusely thank Katy and team for their fantastic, over the top service. THANK YOU. Interesting aside: All of the 4 ladies with whom I spoke (mostly listened) speak like a 45 rpm record spinning at 78 rpm (I know that dates me). I don't know how they do it but they were all charming, efficient and very fast. Thank you again. read more

I ordered flowers from their website for Mother's Day for delivery Sunday and received a call that they could not deliver the order until the next business day. Then I received a call Tuesday asking if I would still like the flower arrangement I had picked out sent. They had never sent out my order. They claimed it was out of their delivery area but I was never alerted to this fact online or when I received the phone call that they couldn't deliver it on Sunday. Flowers Express contracted out the flower arrangement to another florist and she will get her bouquet 3 days late. They would not make any reparations for their mistake either. These guys are a complete scam operation and I guarantee that the one or 2 positive comments are schills. I have now used them twice (shame on me) and both times my flowers were not delivered on the day they were confirmed to be delivered and then you can't speak with anyone in customer relations on the phone, just a half hour wait to get a 5 minute computer voice. The only reason I used them a 2nd time was because they gave me a 50$ coupon for missing the date by 2 days the first time but even that was a scam because they mark up the pricing and tack on so many middle man fees that I still ended up paying double what the flowers were worth only to have them not be delivered close to on schedule again! Worst experience I have ever had with flower delivery. My boyfriend ordered flowers for me while I had to come here to care for my father after his open heart surgery. The flowers were supposed to be delivered 08/23 and they called me to tell me that a delivery attempt was made and no one was home. My father and I were home all day. He isn't allowed to go anywhere because of his surgery recovery. On 08/24 I receive another call, telling me that a delivery attempt was made again and no one was home. I was 5 minutes away from home and my father was still at the house, so I told them to leave them on the porch as I was almost there. I got home and there was nothing there. The delivery driver delivered to the wrong house. The issue was corrected, but only after the flowers sat on the porch of the wrong house, in the 82 degree sun, for about 2 and a half hours. The driver still brought me the flowers that sat outside for all of that time. The small ones had wilted and were brown, while the edges of the lilies and roses were turning brown as well. My boyfriend is very disappointed because he was trying to make me smile in a hard time. He called and requested his money back, which should only be fair for this issue. They told him that the flowers had to be returned, so the delivery driver came back to retrieve them. After taking 2 days to deliver them, it only took him 8 minutes to come take them back. I am very saddened by what this company sends out to their customers in the way of flower quality, and also not filling orders for what is pictured on the websites advertising the flowers. If your order is a wire in, they do not care whether it matches the picture, whether the flowers are fresh, and whether you get the product ordered. Use Flower Mart instead. They are a quality florist less than 3 miles away, who use quality flowers, knowledgeable trained staff, and a customer oriented attitude! read more

Total disappointment and rip-off! Ordered a corsage and boutonnière for my son's junior prom. The charge was almost $55 and I was required to pay upfront. There was a TOTAL of 4 flowers - combined in both pieces, for $55! I asked for coral colored roses, instead they were a bright pink; the ribbon was raveling and unwinding from both pieces within an hour; the flowers were browning and shrinking within 2 hours. Flowers Express was recommended to me for my moms birthday. I called in and had her Birthday Bouquet delivered to her at work. This was suppose to be a very special thing i do for her on her Birthday that she looks forward to getting. It was 49.99 and I upgraded and pd a total of 74.00. I hate to do this but I have no remaining recourse... I have always used Flowers Express in Hendersonville for everything from gift bouquets, corsages and last week my first funeral spray. My mother had passed away and I wanted her to have flowers from her kids... anyway I regret that I would recommend to all NOT to use Flowers Express. The flowers arrived dead and many people commented on the wilted flowers in the arrangement. When I called 2 days later, to let the florist know how disappointed I was with the quality, I was told that they looked good when they left the florist and they were apparently not taken care of at the funeral home. "They were so sorry. They would refund me the delivery charge and $20". They commented on my photo evidence as the flowers look crushed. Well maybe they are but it doesn't explain that on the day of delivery they were wilted and all the brown edges. All the arrangements from Brown's florist, Ruby's Floral, etc looked terrific for the two days they were at the funeral home and those arrangements are only now getting brown edges--and it's been a whole week! I had hoped for better. I recommend you save your floral needs (and money) for ANY other florist in town. -- feeling disappointed. read more

My husband ordered flowers for Valentines day that were dead by the time I received them and Flowers Express refused to do anything about it since they were ordered through a third party. This week was my birthday and my mom ordered flowers through Teleflora. To my dismay Flowers Express flowers were delivered once again, a day early and are already dead two days later. My budget for my wedding changed last minute and I ended up doing the wedding flowers on my own (Thank you Pinterest!!). I drove past this location and looked them up. I called to ask for pricing and was genuinely impressed with their customer service and pricing which was far more competitive than the other stores very nearby. I placed my order over the phone and was charged immediately. I picked my flowers up on Thursday (they get deliveries on Wednesday) and my roses and carnations were the most gorgeous and fragrant blooms I've ever purchased. They were already wrapped and ready for me when I walked in the door. The customer service rep at the location actually remembered me from our brief phone conversation and congratulated me on my upcoming wedding. Overall, I loved this place. You get lovely product for the price and the staff is awesome! I will be returning for any occasion that requires flowers.
