I came here last minute to grab fresh flowers for a friend's birthday. I was greeted at the door by friendly staff. Upon entering I was nervous because I did not see bouquets about the place and in my mind thought they should be everywhere. That being said I was helped by Martin and another gentleman whose name I did not get. I told him I needed Red Roses today for a friend. Lucky for me a Gorgeous dozen were available already arranged in a glass vase with a red bow, waiting in the flower cooler ( where I now realize they should be). I asked to add a yellow rose for friendship, but they were not available. Instead I opted for Sunflowers, absolute perfection. Martin also assisted in trimming the ends of the roses and changing the water, so accommodating. Cindy checked me out and also helped me in filling my balloons and adding them to my arrangement. So glad I found this place. I'll definitely be back in the future and suggest them to friends and family. read more

I called Flower Cottage on Main, East Point, from California to have a vase bouquet delivered to a Celebration of Life in Hapeville. According to my friend, who received the flowers, they were beautiful and arrived on time for the ceremony. I live in Massachusetts and wanted to buy flowers for a friend in Ga. I used yelp to find this flower shop and chose them because other reviews. When I called the shop with a concern the lady's (Robin and the other lady I spoke with, I neglected to get her name), were very polite and helpful. They gave me an estimated time that the flowers would be delivered and they were delivered about an hour earlier. Not a happy wife. Roses look beautiful 1st 2 days then they go bad fast...not worth the 75.00 spent on a dozen when I could have went to Walmart or Kroger's and got better longer lasting flowers. I asked if they had peonies, the man on the phone ridiculed me and laughed at me saying that I can't ask for specialty flowers for same day delivery. I didn't know peonies were specialty flowers. and I asked him not to laugh at me. he said I won't take you cussing at me, which I didn't and he hung up on me and refused to answer the call again. shame my friend won't have flowers on her birthday and they are not very nice to people asking for nice things. terrible terrible service. read more

We recently asked Flower Cottage make floral arrangements for our Mother's funeral. My sister and I selected from a photo in a book and, with the help of their floral designer, made many changes to personalize it and make it the way our Mom would have liked. I only had 3 hours before the service at the Church so I called a local florist in the hopes they would be able to help me. I was not disappointed. They were able to create the arraignment and deliver in time for the service. The people that attend the service said the flowers were beautiful. The lady that helped me also helped with the wording of the card. Its always hard to know what to say on cards but she made a suggestion that was perfect. read more
