I found the Two Sisters that run the place to be some of the kindest most personable gals I have ever met in my 64 years on Earth. I use to love this store, however the owner/manager is grouchy and doesn't seem to like the public. We went in on Thursday afternoon to order a simple boutonnière for Saturday. She kinda huffed and then said fine I guess I can do it for you. We asked for a purple color she said she had a purple rose.. perfect. I paid and we said thank you and left. My daughter picked it up on Saturday before noon as the lady requested and it was pink. my daughter will not say a word to anyone or ask for help so when she got home it was after 12 and they were closed. I wasn't very happy first to be treated that way... ( I was just going to leave and go somewhere else but my daughter just wanted to get it ordered) second to say you can provide something and then not do it. I ordered two $70 dollar arrangements and I got two arrangements with carnations. When I called to talk to them about the difference in a $50 dollar arrangement compared to a $70 that they have posted online, the person just said sorry. I explained online the $70 arrangements have Lily's and roses and the $50 arrangements have carnations. Sparks Florist (AKA - Flower Bucket) I was very disappointed when my order was delivered. The arrangement I ordered was supposed to have white daisies and yellow roses. What was delivered was yellow mums and some sort of deadish dry flower. Now, I realize white daisies are not always in season, but I know damn well they could have nailed the roses. Customer service was rather rude when I called. She said, "mums and daisies are the same thing. What do you want me to do about it." When I told her the lady told me when I placed the order that they could match the picture on the website with no substitute, she said, "was that lady Hispanic?" What the heck does THAT mean?? Not even a one star rating! This is NOT the place to go for your wedding flowers or any flowers they will not follow through with anything you want and scam you out of more money! What a complete disappointment! Meet with Cathy the owner several times for a wedding service discussed and showed her pictures of everything we wanted down to the colors and exact flowers we wanted. She agreed upon everything and said she would have no problem with completing this service we were quoted the price and ultimately decided to proceed and paid in June for a September wedding. upon receiving the payment for everything is were this all fell apart! She went no contact with us and we kept trying to reach her just to confirm how things were going and get some kind of updates about the flowers. In August just 3 weeks before the wedding we were finally able to speak with her and we were told to stop calling her and she's didn't know yet what flowers she was able to get yet but it didn't matter the flowers will be beautiful. Fast forward now to the week before the wedding we contacted her again to set pickup for everything we set it up the day before the wedding asked about pickup time and are told it didn't matter just before they close and she would have everything ready. We tell her we are going to pickup at 12:30-1pm. We get there to pick up and are shocked by the complete rude attitude and are told there is no order for us. Then fumbling through paperwork they find our order and are told nothing is made. We had to wait around and come back later that day for the job to be done. Once we are told flowers were done we walk into another shock the colors are completely wrong not one of the flowers we wanted were there! Cathy stated "I changed the colors because it was going to be to dark for your pictures" we wanted cremes, browns, peach and maroons. What we got were yellow, red,and orange. The bridesmaid bouquet was supposed to be simple baby's breath, eucalyptus and fern. What we got were the same colored flowers from the brides bouquet. Not to mention that all the our flower arrangements were not even completed and acted like she was unaware of those. We asked and she said she didn't have any flowers left from the order for those and we had to purchase them out of her cooler. Let's talk about a scam job this lady took complete advantage of this situation and knew we needed to have flowers for this wedding and scammed us out of buying more flowers. Extremely disappointed! My husband sent me long stem red roses from flower bucket for our 30th anniversary. Within 2 days 1 flower wilted and as the days progressed more flowers wilted, in less than a week all roses were wilted. Now as everyone knows roses are not cheap especially when you have them delivered. So today I called to complain and the manager( who I think was actually the owner) proceeded to lecture me on how to rejuvenate wilted roses and it was to late to do that now she then started to yell at me that she had 50 years of experience and when I tried to respond(yell at me and I tend to raise my voice) she hung up on me. She basically also stated she didn't care whether or not I use their business again while she was lecturing me . I thought that I would get a great deal here but beware! My friend wanted me to get roses for his girlfriend and I really wanted to impress them. When I got here, they told me I can also select from the Teleflora binder if anything doesn't catch my attention at the store. One caught my eye that was a little bit over my budget but I thought it'd be worth it. It wasn't. Attached are the pictures and it was completely different! You can see the colors, the cuttings, everything! Yes it was nice overall but not for the price! I felt like I could've made it myself! I would've liked a little bit more communication on what they have vs. what they do not have. Let me know before I order if you have the exact flowers. Nowhere in the photo I picked had "light pink" roses. For customer service, I felt like they wanted me out. They were kind of rushing me and i really didn't like that. Also, I would've appreciated it if they asked me if I liked the arrangement. They gave me the vase and said their goodbyes already. I am going to other florists from now on. Please save your time and do NOT go here. If you do not have any other choice but to go here, just buy the ready-made ones. Don't bother with their arrangements that you see in the book. Walked in and was shocked on so many levels. First thing I noticed was the smell. It smelt just like how the store looked, old, run-downed and cluttered. It didn't smell like a florets at all. I had to get some flowers and bought some roses in a bunch that were $36.00 and when I was being rang up she said she would knock off a couple of dollars. My husband & I last minute decided to elope at a chapel in lake tahoe and wanted to grab some flowers in Sparks before hitting the road. My father-in-law sent me flowers for Valentines day. The high temp of the day was 32°. The bouquet was left on my front step. The only reason I knew it had been delivered was because my father-in-law told me it was delivered. I found it at 7 PM and it was frozen. The main flower in the center turned brown within the hour. I called the business to see how we could rectify it and they wanted me to bring the bouquet back in so they could "freshen it up". She stated I was outside of her area and wanted me to bring the bouquet to her. I don't go to Sparks very often. She did eventually offer to come out to my house to freshen it up I said I would be home after 5 PM. She asked me what the solution was. My solution is never to buy flowers from them and to recommend that other people do not as well. Leaving a bouquet on the front step when it is 32° outside and not calling the number listed on the front of the delivery envelope to notify them of the delivery will never end up well. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for better flowers and respectful service. read more

THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE SCAM, DO NOT GO HERE! What I ordered for my mom vs. what she got this morning a day late... Decided to send my mom flowers because I couldn't be there with her on mother's day yesterday. Well the flowers never showed up, yet somehow miraculously appeared on their neighbors doorstep this morning. Not only were they missing the balloons, as well as the chocolates I had ordered and was charged for too, but the roses were practically dead and it's not even the same arrangement! Of course they aren't answering phone calls, have no email address, and when my mom drove by the business today to return them they weren't even open! (This was at 4:30pm and they "close" at 6pm) I have never had such a horrible experience with a delivery service in my LIFE, I was so livid yesterday they're genuinely lucky that I don't close enough to drive over to their "business" myself especially after paying out $100 for some fucking flowers. Update; Apparently this isn't the first time they've done this, the neighbor they delivered the flowers to's daughter said she had the same thing happen to her as well. People have been leaving reviews on their yelp claiming similar stories and it amazes me how a place like this is still in business??? I have to say that I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with my purchase from this florist. I finally for the first time was able to splurge on my mother for her birthday. I went to this florist website and found the most beautiful bouquet of Roses and being that I was pulling out all the stops I purchased the premium bouquet, set my order to be delivered on March 26, I get my receipt confirming the delivery date. Imagine to my surprise that my mother calls me the day I ordered the flowers and thanks me for them, keep in mind I purchased them exactly one week prior. I was upset and told her she wasn't supposed to get them yet, she sent me a picture of them and it was NOT the $120 worth of roses that I had purchased. I called the shop that day but the owner/manager had already left. I then asked for a return call, I received a call from a very nice lady who apologized for the incident and asked how they could make it up. I told her deliver more flowers to my mother on her birthday, she asked what color and I chose purple and she said she had some beautiful purple roses and she would create something for her. The arrangement was SPENT on day 3! The Roses were OLD when I received the bouquet and on day 3 the roses are brown, petals are falling off all the roses, a couple are completely gone and the snapdragons are also dying. A huge part of the bouquet was 2 cheap hydrangea stems which were wilted the next day! I called the shop and was told that hydrangeas do not do well in air conditioning. So why were they added to the bouquet? I was told if I wanted to come into the shop they would replace the hydrangea stems. Well, the shop was disgusting, dirty and lots of old dead flowers. The bouquet was supposed to be roses and gladiolus. The bouquet received contained 10 old roses, carnations and sea lavender (both cheap flowers), snapdragons (which don't last), and 3 dutch iris which did not open. No gladiolus! I know my sister spent good money on this bouquet and it's a piece of poo! I will not purchase from the Flower Bucket again and I will tell everyone I know also not to use them. read more
