Great experience with The Flowerman! Very conveniently located by a large intersection in Pasadena…read moreand easy to find. I researched a lot of flower shops and decided to go with the Flowerman for my mom's birthday flowers. Ordering over the phone was very easy. I told him how much I wanted to spend, when I'd like to pick up by, and requested a bouquet that inclined my mom's favorite flowers - lavender. They require immediate payment so I paid for it over the phone. This is a beautiful shop! It smelled SO nice right when I entered the shop. As they were getting my order together, I walked around and looked at the different creations. Even bouquets that are behind glass doors are beautiful to take home on this spot. When my order came out, the first thing I noticed was that there was no lavender. I asked the shop associate "where is the lavender?" She went back and checked my order and said she'll put some in right away, she also added additional roses to the bouquet, which really brightened it up and made it feel vibrant. I appreciated that they quickly made adjustments to the bouquet. The final bouquet was beautiful. I'm very happy with the overall look and feel of the flowers. I definitely recommend them to others, I will likely use them again for my own needs. Thank you!

It was. I walked in wanting a cute bouquet for my babe, around $50. Starting price was $95. That kind of caught me off guard, but you know what, the aura Brad was putting off had me fully invested. "You know what, heck yea let's do this." Next thing you know we're designing a beautiful bouquet for my wife. I stepped out to grab her a coffee, came back, and BAM. BEAUT BOUQUET FOR BABE. The cherry on top, and what really made me leave fully satisfied, was the hammered plate with my babe's name attached to the bouquet. Brad forges them from the fires of Mordor. Dude, those little touches are what really set them apart from anyone else. And yes, babe loved the flowers. Yea, I'll be back. Thanks Brad for helping me out!

I never heard of this place before and I usually just stop by a grocery store chain florist but it was on the way. I dropped in and was greeted by Jasmine. The hallway was pretty narrow in the shop and I felt like was in her way, but she still made me feel very welcomed. I was amazed at how the arrangement turned out. I could see how nice it was until she was finished. The true confirmation was all the praise and attention I received in the restaurant taking the flower to the table. My Executive Director LOVED the arrangement. It was the center piece of the lunch. Thank you very much Jasmine, I'll definitely come back to Floral Design after this experience.

I truly wish I didn't have to write this review, but our experience with Anthos Floral Concepts /…read moreAnthos Studio (MYRNA POWELL) was so disappointing and upsetting that I feel it's important to warn others. We hired Anthos Floral Concepts / Anthos Studio (MYRNA POWELL) for our wedding and met with her three separate times to go over every detail of our floral arrangements. We were very clear about what we wanted, showed her photos, and left those meetings feeling reassured. Unfortunately, what showed up on our wedding day was not what we had agreed upon. The colors were wrong, the design we requested was completely the opposite of what we discussed, and overall it looked rushed and careless. As upsetting as that was, what made it so much worse was MYRNA POWELL's unprofessional and frankly shocking behavior. When the bride, understandably emotional on her wedding day, gently asked about the mix-up, MYRNA POWELL responded with a terrible attitude and actually yelled at her in front of our family and friends. It was humiliating and inexcusable. Who does that to a bride on her wedding day? A few days later, I (the groom) reached out, hoping for a calm and constructive conversation. Instead, I was met with the same hostility and was also yelled at. No apology, no accountability -- just more aggression. Weddings are stressful enough without having to deal with a vendor who not only fails to deliver what was promised but also treats clients with such disrespect. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. There are plenty of talented, kind, and professional florists out there -- sadly, ANTHOS FLORAL CONCEPTS (ANTHOS STUDIO) & MYRNA POWELL is not one of them. Myrna, if you're reading this, all it takes is to call me for an apology.
