Highly recommend. After a complimentary consult that I originally meant to entertain for the possibility of veneers (perfectly good teeth I thought but smile is less than ideal) I am blown away at how THOROUGH and caring Jennifer and Dr. Kiyam have been. Because they use the best possible equipment in dentistry, they have optics on whats going on in my mouth that my traditional dentist apparently doesn't. Through this comprehensive consult, they discovered a pretty big abscess/infection in the back right of my bottom jaw through a CT scan in a tooth that apparently doesn't have any nerve pain currently. (I would never have known! Not even my dentist saw this with traditional x-rays. What the heck!!??) Jennifer and I discussed a treatment plan to address ALL concerns and I just realized, through her help, that the incredibly severe Trigeminal neuralgia (facial nerve) pain that had me in tears a few years ago over the course of 3 months that NO DENTIST or root canal specialist could explain and that disappeared just as fast as it appeared. It was highly likely related to the abscess that they discovered last week because of the specialized equipment and overall focus they have on addressing issues from many angles. My body was crying out for help 3 yrs ago after God knows how many years of that infection being there and no one could explain except for this practice. I want to cry. I have been holding off on posting a review... but I had a friend just recently tell me that they went here and have had major issues. I went here about years ago and I really loved this office when I first came and I really loved Dr Kiyan and his staff. He was doing a deal for a full mouth reconstruction for $15,000 so I did it. I had six porcelain veneers in my front that I should not have taken out because they were much better quality. He prepped my teeth and did crown lengthening which did not make my gums even. It was an absolute waste of time. I had Crown lengthening once before by a periodontist and highly recommend going to a periodontist for this procedure. He then put 20 crowns in one day. The next day I was in severe pain and it lasted a while... The doctor told me that that was normal. Come to find out I needed numerous root canal's. So after having these new crowns put in I had to go and have root canal's drilled through the middle of the crown. I ended up getting 10root canals which was not cheap. Then I would have crowns fall out and break. I had numerous crowns fall out and break. I paid $500 to fix my last broken ground there and then when another crown broke he said that I needed to have two other teeth have new crowns because they now have decay. Which I mentioned when I first had the crowns done that they weren't fully covering the tooth that they were most likely going to have cavities. Anyway he said that I would now have to pay $1500 per crown. How does any dentist charge more to fix issues caused. Personally I shouldn't even had to of paid the $500 for the one crown that I had fixed. Since having this work done recently I had a crown fall out realizing that there was really no tooth underneath it. So he put a crown on pretty much no tooth..And another crown fell out on the opposite side with pretty much no tooth. I'm Going to have to have a full reconstruction and numerous implants. I'm not even sure how many teeth have nothing underneath the crown.. My teeth havabsolutely been ruined. In the pictures that I posted you can see the uneven gummy smile with one of my front teeth is bigger than the other.. you can see next to my bottom teeth the broken tooth that has been there for a while. Came here for a consultation. Had the appointment at 9am and didn't see the dentist until 9:35am. Dentist came in, talked to me for five minutes. Didn't even put a glove on and did an exam. He went off the x-rays. Automatically told me he recommends veneers. Then the financing lady Jen came in and told me it would cost me $25,000! Thats insane! She said they aren't the cheapest or expensive place that does them. They act like their office is way better than anyone else and like their dentist is the best out there out of all the dentists. Highly Dissatisfied with Partial Crown Replacements, Invisalign Treatment, Pain, and Irreversible Damage by FLOSS Dental My recent experience at FLOSS dental clinic, where Dr. Mehdizadeh performed the replacement of four partial crowns and an Invisalign treatment, has been nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did Dr. Mehdizadeh excessively drill down on my teeth during the crown replacement procedure, but the consequences of both treatments have been devastating and have caused irreparable damage. I underwent the replacement of four partial crowns by Dr. Mehdizadeh. During the procedure, Dr. Mehdizadeh excessively drilled down on my teeth a total of five times, resulting in a severe loss of tooth structure. Despite also expressing my concerns about NEW pain and sensitivity on the teeth with the new crowns, and an altered bite, I was advised to return to the clinic for adjustments. However, it quickly became evident that there was nothing to adjust. My teeth were already too low, flat, and I have pain every single day when I eat. Moreover, this dental work has introduced a lisp that I never had before. When it came to taking accountability around the new tooth pain I was told to "see a different dentist, we don't do that"... even though they are the ones who caused the new pain sensitivity. The Invisalign treatment, which was meant to improve the alignment of my teeth, turned out to be a complete disappointment. Despite going through the treatment, my teeth were improperly aligned at the end. As a result, my front teeth constantly scraped against each other when I spoke or ate, causing a loud, awful sound in my ears and excruciating pain. It is distressing to think that a treatment I had hoped would enhance my smile ended up causing such discomfort and irreversible issues. The entire service at FLOSS, along with Dr. Mehdizadeh's treatments, came at an exorbitant cost of $19,000. Regrettably, rather than improving my oral health, my teeth have been completely ruined. Since seeking consultations with other dental professionals following my experience with Dr. Mehdizadeh, I have learned that it will cost me thousands of dollars more to correct the damage caused by FLOSS. This additional financial burden, on top of the physical and emotional toll, is deeply distressing. Dr. Kiyan ruined my teeth. I've had to pay more than $40k in periodontal surgery and a new set of veneers, in addition to the 20k+ I paid to Floss Dental. I am now "a difficult case" , due to Dr. Kiyan shaving down my natural teeth to almost nothing. I think many of the reviews on here are from when Floss used to have a professional lab make their veneers as opposed to making them in-house. Another portion of the reviews are obviously fake (those are easy to decipher). This office is smoke and mirrors. Do not be fooled by their glossy reception area. My experience started good but ended bad: I first went to floss around November 2020 to have a discolored tooth internally bleached. I had a great experience there, everyone is very nice and treats you very well. Dr. Kian was great in making sure I was happy with the results of the bleaching of the tooth. After that tooth was done I had a cleaning done at their office and the hygienist had some concerns about old fillings in 4 of my molars. Dr. Kian took a look and suggested that the fillings be redone with ceramic. I agreed and went through with having ceramic fillings put into the 4 teeth. Dr Kian did the drilling of my teeth but had someone else place and bond the fillings to my teeth. It's easily a two person job to place and bond these filling but he left one guy to do it. While placing one of the ceramic fillings I started to gain feeling in the tooth. I was in excruciating pain as the tooth was no longer numb and I could feel everything. I stopped him twice and told him how painful it was but he told me it would be over soon and kept working. After having the ceramic fillings put in I started experiencing pain in the teeth while chewing and extreme sensitivity to cold, that I had never experienced before coming to Floss. I couldn't even chew an apple without pain. I expressed this to Dr. Kian and he thought the bite alignment was off so we tried to correct the bite alignment a few times, but that did not help with the pain or cold sensitivity. So finally we decided to remove the fillings in 3 of the 4 teeth and put new ones in again himself. They didn't charge me to re-do the ceramic fillings, which I greatly appreciated. The pain subsided in the 3 teeth after being re-done but they are still more sensitive to cold than they used to be. After having the 3 teeth redone I noticed that the 4th tooth was also experiencing pain while chewing. I only ate very soft foods for months while trying to figure this out and have it fixed so I didn't realize that the 4th tooth was also affected until I started eating harder foods again. After many appointments at Floss and an overall bad experience I decided to go to a new dentist. The new dentist took a look at my X-rays and pointed out in one of the teeth with the ceramic fillings done at Floss had a gap in between the ceramic filling and my tooth and that it would have to be redone. The new dentist also suggested a crown or a root canal and a crown for the 4th tooth that was still causing me pain, because the nerve of the tooth is so irritated at this point. I'm just overall exhausted with the whole experience at Floss, I went to countless appointments, having to take time off work to fix a problem that I shouldn't have had to begin with, and spent $5,700 on 4 ceramic fillings 2 of which still have issues and have to be redone. I wish I never had the ceramic fillings done at Floss. I spent half of 2021 only eating soft, room temperature or warm foods, because anything cold or hard caused me a lot of pain. I just recently had a root canal done on the 4th tooth at my new dentist and I was talking with the specialist who was performing my root canal and he said Floss had hired him but that he left Floss after one day because he didn't think they were well prepared in his opinion. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I admit that I was tricked by all the fake before and after posts on Instagram! And I fell for the gimmicky pics with "D" list celebrities. So I agreed to pay over $16,000 for 7 upper veneers and 1 crown that previously had the root canal done plus whitening and a night guard. (Apparently Dr. Kiyan doesn't know what a night guard is because he gave me Clear Correct Aligners instead.) My insurance had already approved the crown replacement through another dentist but I decided to go with Floss and get them all done at once so they would match. For some reason Floss could never submit the claim correctly to the insurance for payment. So, that turned out to be an additional charge out of pocket. After the trimming down of the original teeth, I was sent home with a temporary one piece "flipper" secured in place. I was told that the permanent veneers would be ready in about 2 weeks. The temporary appliance was uncomfortable and smelly because water and food particles would get stuck between it and my gums. Then about 4 weeks into wearing it, it broke in half and fell out. Every day I called to see when the permanents would be ready and finally after about 6 weeks they were. Below are pictures of what I looked like when I had to go to work without teeth because the temporary fell out. Btw, I am a Flight Attendant and see many people every day. So about 3 months after getting the permanent veneers, one fell out! Not only could they not see me to fix it for over 3 weeks but they charge $180. What?! I just paid $16,000 and it falls out and I have to pay to get it fixed? I figured if I have to pay, I will go to my regular dentist and besides he can probably see me sooner. So, I did but after looking at it he would not touch it and reccomended that I just pay the $180. I went back to Floss where the dental assistant, not the dentist, fixed it. Then about 6 months later another one fell out! I mean, I have to go to work looking like this, without teeth!! This time when I called Floss they made an arrangement to get me in quick but before my appointment I recieved an email titled "Termination of Care" in which they describe a breakdown of trust and respect and that a therapeutic relationship no longer exists! What!? They don't trust and respect me? All I did was pay a lot of money for their trash services!! Then, another email that was from the same person, Jennifer, who signed the letter from her personal account that says, "Say goodbye to another nightmare" What is going on? I don't understand? Is this a professional dental office? Why would she call me "another nightmare"? The next day, I obviously did not go to the appointment so I got a message wanting to know why I didn't show up. What? Why would I go back to a dental office that sent me a letter saying they don't trust or respect me and called me a nightmare in an email? I have seen many other bad reviews on here that some how get removed. And, if they can't get them removed, this Alex just slanders the reviewer. Do not go here for general orthodontic needs (i.e. Invisalign management, etc) as they will de-prioritize you then not fulfill the final custom order of a retainer (even if the case is transferred from the original dentist and accepted as a transfer) as paid for in your plan despite many attempts to get it. I transferred to the office after temporary veneers were inadequate and PAID $200 for temporaries along with multiple other procedures in my time with the office thinking they would help when needed. They'll request you pay $400-$500 for a retainer then say the case is closed after they drop the ball on coordinating for months and not help you any further. Unless of course you're an influencer who can re-post for them then you'll get priority & if not you'll see how you'll be replied to as Alex did below. It is always a pleasure dealing with intelligent professionals. I am usually very terrified of dentists and extremely picky about retaining any medical professional. To be honest, my screening process is rather intense. But Floss passed the test with flying colors. I had rather extensive dental work done and as a patient I cannot only rely on my doctor for a good outcome - I need to do my part in following his instructions and otherwise care for my body while going through the process. I found Dr. Kiyan and his staff to be extremely knowledgeable and competent during my 'ordeal.' I decided to come here after doing a video consult, and it was super cool and helpful!! However, it did take quite a while for him to get back to me (1 month?). Space: The physical space is very clean, white, bright, and modern. They definitely come off as very hip and trendy, heck they even take Apple Pay :O Service: Dr. Kiyan and all the staff are very friendly and talkative! I like how they try to make you feel comfortable and like friends. This is probably the biggest pro! As for the dental service, they are very thorough! Dr. Kiyan is very communicative. The lady who did my teeth cleaning removed a lot of tartar off me. Only negative experience is that she didn't have an assistant during the teeth cleaning so the suction sometimes was not used enough and in the right places to suck up my saliva. It even got stuck to the side of my tongue so now I have a major canker sore and can barely talk LOL she was super nice and I would still come back but I am a little afraid of there not being an assistant again Parking: Major downside is that it's paid parking, previous reviews say they validate but I called and they say they don't do that? Dr Kiyan was not honest with my diagnosis and he used high pressure tactics to get me to agree to unnecessary procedures. My appointment was for teeth whitening and to possibly redo my partial crown. During my exam Dr Kiyan told me I had 8 cavities (which I didn't). He added that they were going to get worse and require root canal if I didn't get his recommended treatment at that time. He said I needed partial bonded crowns for a total of $14,400 plus the $1800 for teeth whitening. Of course I got a second opinion at my local dentist, and they confirmed I had NO cavities. He (second dentist) asked me "who told you that you had cavities?" I told him my story and he said, you have no cavities and your teeth are beautiful. I also got my teeth whitened for $450 and they did a wonderful job. Dr Kiyan may do good dental work but in my experience he was not honest and the entire visit was very uncomfortable. read more

The only thing I was impressed with was how quickly they booked my teeth cleaning gave a me a discount from $250 to $100 Out of Pocket which by the way I have insurance so not sure why a simple teeth cleaning would require such hoop jumping. 7:45am Monday appointment the woman working the front desk was not happy to be there and honestly didn't make me feel welcomed. I was moved to take X-rays were I was later called out by the head dentist as to why I was wearing a sweater in the office as if I missed the memo... not cool I can dress up and SHOW up wasn't aware it was supposed to be a champagne and parade party. On February 2021, approximately 3 years later, I received a message from their new marketing manager with an apology and dental procedure offers to get me back as a patient. I still stand by my first review and will not be going back. Their response of my misunderstanding of insurance processing is false. I understood how my dual coverage works and how insurance process claims, which was why I stated that I worked with insurance. I knew how much I would be getting back. After speaking with my insurances I found that they individually were billed the same amount and was not communicated that there was a secondary insurance, so both acted as the primary and covered the same invoice total. I know that Floss' contract with one of the insurance company was on the line because of this incorrect billing because the insurance rep told me after months of investigation. Since there is a new marketing manager who seems to want to make things right, I optimistically hope there's a new dental biller that actually bills correctly. Before going to floss I have realistically had 4-5 different dentists and I never felt as comfortable as I have at floss. A few things stood out to me, the level of professionalism, the communication, and the cleanliness of Floss's office were a few things that made me comfortable in getting a consultation.
