The pictures I clicked were right after the cleaning and were shared with Junior from Mopo Clean…read moreright away. These pictures are not from several days after like Junior's comment suggests. The house was never left spotless, you can tell by how the light fixtures and bathroom were cleaned that this business does not take their job seriously and the audacity to blame the customer for everything is just outrageous. Mopo Clean, if you're running a business, please also learn to take responsibility and learn from your mistakes instead of blaming customers for everything. I have uploaded a chat screenshot where I immediately let Mopo Clean know of my dissatisfaction with the pictures, not several days after as suggested by Junior. It's one thing to not acknowledge the cleaning job but to blame the customer even though I have enough photo evidence, is just ridiculous. I imagine what this business would do if I had no pictures whatsoever.
Mopo Clean would receive a zero-star rating on Yelp based on my experience with their service. Although the initial consultation was promising and they claimed to understand my cleaning needs, the actual cleaning was below average. I paid $360 in total for a deep clean plus windows cleaning. I paid an extra $60 for the window cleaning since my sunroom has a lot of windows. I made it clear on Yelp messaging what my expectations were to avoid any disappointment with the service. The cleaning began at 10 am instead of 9 am as promised and continued until 3 pm. I was surprised to see only one person come in, I was under the impression that it would be a 2 person's job to make sure cleaning is done quickly. I honestly believe the cleaning person was very slow. The following things were not done after completing the job:
Refrigerator - not deep cleaned inside and out
Microwave - not deep cleaned inside and out
Dishwasher - not sanitized
Kitchen counter - has steam marks on it
Toilet - not cleaned - it was not cleaned properly, I have attached a picture
Soap scum - not cleaned, picture attached
Bathroom fixtures - not cleaned
Sliding glass door - not cleaned, picture attached
Built-in cabinets and shelving - not cleaned
Ceiling fans - not cleaned - quickly dusted when I asked right before leaving
Baseboards - missed a lot of parts
3rd bedroom/playroom - not even touched
Study room - not even touched
The light fixture on the kitchen counter - not cleaned - quickly dusted when I asked right before leaving
When I pointed out the missed areas and expressed my disappointment with the cleaning, the cleaning person redid the toilet but placed my bathroom rug upside down to hide foot marks. Basic common sense is that you remove all the rugs from the bathroom before the deep clean. I think the cleaning person was not experienced enough and stepped all over my bathroom rug. There was also no walkthrough, and Mopo Clean provided a generic response, indicating that there was nothing they could do after the cleaning person left the premises. Even my rug in the living room was all messed up, see pictures. My husband and I had to move the sofa and straighten it out. I am uploading a picture of how my toilet and rug looked after they left. In full honesty, after I expressed my disappointment with the cleaning, they refunded $60 back to me. But I don't think the job they did was anywhere comparable to the $300 I paid.
My house was pretty clean in the first place. My major cleaning requirements were the windows, light fixtures, and ceiling fans which were not cleaned until I asked for it. Overall, my experience with Mopo Clean was very disappointing nonetheless. The person they hired to do the job was not capable and very slow. I have seen cleaners move with lightning speed. This person achieved close to nothing in 5 hours. In fact, my kitchen countertop also has steam machine marks which I'm terribly upset about.
Overall, my experience with Mopo Clean was very disappointing. The cleaning person was slow, inexperienced, and missed several areas, resulting in an unsatisfactory job. I hope this review helps others avoid wasting their money on this service.
