It has a bookstore, many area's that you are able to sit and study, elevators, advisors, student life and a Subway. The classrooms are nice in size and usually will have a view of the highway (I-75) as it was built right next to it. There is plenty of parking and campus security is not to big on having a parking pass for this location. The science labs located on the fourth floor are state of the art and are shared between FIU and Broward College. There's also free Wifi for students. The building is extremely clean (as it's new) and currently they are still adding amenities for students to enjoy learning here. I would recommend coming here for classes (primarily business and general education courses) and to lose the craziness that is involved with going to the bigger campuses!

The architecture of the building and views of I-75 let you relax and study peacefully. A HIDDEN GEM! Security is nice to everyone and maintenance hardly cleans and sit on their phones because the building is literally empty sometimes. It's worth the drive from main campuses to find a study space or take classes!

Anyone who is in nursing school or has friends/relatives that are in nursing school knows it takes a lot of hard work, that it's time consuming, and you need to have a great support system but this school gives you all the tools you need to succeed! I looked into all the schools in Florida and I used to attend Barry University's nursing program for two years and transferred here and I love it. It has amazing sim labs, classes offered on different days and different times to work with your schedule, and teachers that really know there stuff!

I had a very disappointing experience with Chamberlain University's clinical process. The lack of…read moreguidance was a major issue: I was required to locate my own preceptor, and once I did, the approval process was extremely cumbersome. The school uses multiple disjointed systems, so I had to fax paperwork repeatedly. This made no sense since they could access my vaccination records directly in their system (Complio). And in 2026, relying on fax machines is completely outdated. Additionally, the immersion labs were poorly scheduled. They forced everyone to travel to Chicago during one of the busiest weekends in the U.S. for soccer, rather than using the available site in Florida. This felt like a blatant money grab, and the school didn't seem to care about students' financial or logistical burden. Overall, the clinical process was inefficient, outdated, and felt more like a profit-driven system than a supportive educational process. I hope the school modernizes its approach soon.

My friend was not going to classes nor going outside because of women harassing her and verbally assaulting her. I'm telling you men do put their hands on females here and they hush hush it. He donated the land and money with the mission of bringing a higher education institution to the growing South Florida community. The college adopted the nickname Hurricanes in memory of the devastating 1926 storm that hit the area just as the university opened. After the land boom bust the college struggled but it experienced significant growth after WWII. Their football program boosted them to national prominence leading to academic expansion. and they celebrated their 100 year anniversary last year. The University of Miami spans 240 acres on the main Coral Gables campus. It has a strong albeit expensive academic program including a medical school. Their colors are orange, green, and white representing Florida's citrus industry. The mascot is Sebastian the Ibis. The campus is park like with large trees, the man made Osceola lake from the 1940's in the center, and 1920's architecture with the oolite limestone Coral Gables is known for. I have visited the Lowe's Art Museum on campus and the Gifford Arboretum in the past and most recently I came for the Beaux arts Festival now in it's 75th year. Now could not be a better time to visit since UM is in the College Football Playoff National Championship against the Indiana Hoosiers. They have won five football championships since 1983 and we are hoping for number six. To make the famous UM hand gesture hold up your hands in front of you palms out and put your thumbs so they are touching and your hands form a U shape. UM fever has spread throughout the entire city of Miami with events happening in conjunction with the big game all weekend long. The highly anticipated game takes place Monday night. Go Canes!

Concorde nursing department offers the best clinical on site training out there alongside clinical instructors who have been in their designated field for more than 5 years ensuring that students get first world training and the highest accolades possible. I was advised to take the Wonderlic and HESI tests to apply for the dental hygiene program, then immediately charged $100 once I passed, just for the application. They also insisted I pay $10 to have my transcripts sent through their system. When I mentioned I had most of the required pre-requisite courses because I already have a bachelor's degree, Aileen never told me that credits older than five years wouldn't count. This didn't make sense to me, especially since I hold a college degree. As a result, I would have to pay $80,000 for the entire dental hygiene program--money that I could've saved had I been given the right information upfront. The whole process felt disorganized, and I spent so much time studying for the HESI test unnecessarily. After I realized the program was going to cost so much more than expected, I requested a refund for the $100 application fee. Aileen ignored my calls and emails, but when she wanted my money, she was always quick to respond. I eventually had to track down someone else to get my refund. This school cares more about collecting fees than actually supporting students. I would strongly advise staying away from this place. There are much better, more transparent options out there.
