Have to say I was amazed how professional and organized Andrely and her contents crew were.She is a true leader and a great asset to Fla-Cat.She came with a crew member on Monday.She looked over everything in my garage.Plumbers didn't tighten new valves then installed on washer tight enough so water went all over destroying a lot of my belongings.She took total control over the project.They wrote everything down of what they had to do and needed.They came back the next day she had a crew of 5 ladies and they went right to work..I'm disabled and have a service animal and I have to say they were all so nice to us.Andrely made sure all my belongings were well taken care if.The also respected my privacy when people stopped and asked what's going on they said to go ask me.The came back the next day.They had boxes and other items they needed to complete the job.To my surprise she had 8 people here.They worked their butts off.Packing up the bad items and the good items.Told me she got more help so they could get the job done by end of the day.She didn't want me to be inconvenience.Disrupting myself and my service animal. Believe me it was a pleasure having them here.Don't know what I would had done if they didn't handle this issue. Andrely and the contents crew finished up the job that day.They did a fantastic job!! We had a catastrophe - they fixed it. Simple to say, complicated to do, but Steve C and his team of skilled professionals made it happen. This group was on time, every time. Worked, cleaned up, stayed on schedule even when there were challenges. I was very upset when I found water damage and mold - this group took care of business, fixed the place good as new. Florida Catastrophe response was fast, but they had to come out two days later to fix the tarp because the sandbags were falling. Two weeks later my roof tarp started shredding leaving my roof uncovered. I've ended up with sandbags hanging from the roof and tarp flying.  The first time that I called for help, they came immediately; but now they are ignoring my e-mails and phone calls. Like the previous poster stated on Google reviews, one star is too much. Like him, I had the same experience of Florida Catastrophe trying to extort my deductible out of me before doing any work. After checking with my insurance company it was as I suspected, I pay the insurance company the deductible. The insurance company pays Florida Catastrophe directly. They came out to tarp a large section of the roof lost in the hurricane. Initially it appeared to be a good job. Less than two weeks later, however, it became evident it was not. The tarp became unsecured in a section. I called Florida Catastrophe and the comment was "it's just temporary" and "we'll have to get another authorization from your insurance company." The concern was not my property or the terrible job they did but just to be paid again. Once again they attempted the strong arm tactic of asking for my deductible! Just incredible! This continues and they told me they'd be out in two days. That day came and I was told due to "inclement weather" they wouldn't be out till the following day. The following day turned out to be a week later. I was away at work and assumed it was completed. During this time I sustained more water damage due to the tarp failing. I was at home when they arrived and was awoken to the sound of footsteps on the roof. They then supposedly repaired the tarp. Two days later this tarp shredded in the wind. I went up on the roof myself and discovered why this tarp failed. The thickness of this tarp was no thicker than a standard plastic bag! Unreal! Strong arm tactics, substandard work and non existent customer service. It's obvious that Florida Catastrophe is appropriately named. Avoid them like the plague. read more

We were referred to Florida Catastrophe after a fire in our kitchen. We had terrible damage to our roof, cabinets, appliances, and floor, but it was luckily contained to just a couple rooms. We couldn't be happier with the level of service we received throughout the entire restoration process. My husband and I were initially very worried that after this fire in our new home (2-3 years old) we couldn't expect the restoration to be as good or better than the original, but we were very pleasantly surprised that our home looks a good as new. Very shoddy business. Roof tarps were placed and a few days later started shredding leaving tiny pieces of very cheap tarp all over my lot and all neighbors. I called for help and they ignored all of my phone calls and never returned calls for 2 full days. Avoid these people at all costs. read more

My husband and I had a water pipe burst in our home while we were out of town on vacation. It was devastating coming home to flooded home. We quickly reached out to our insurance company who put us in contact with FLA-CAT. They were extremely quick with getting our home back together. They replaced our carpet, and removed a little mold damage. They did an excellent job and were very professional at all times. We were referred to Florida Catastrophe by our home insurance company after a dishwasher leak in the kitchen. They were great right from the first impression. They did the water remediation, and after speaking with them about reconstruction we decided to have them do our entire kitchen rebuild. They were professional, timely, easy to work with and very communicative. We can't say enough good about them and the work. They did some custom work on the cabinet shelving and the trim. It is beautiful and much better than the kitchen looked before the dishwasher leak. We would definitely recommend them for any size job. Great experience. read more
