If there were another star or five more I would rate this company at a 10!!! I am a NYC school teacher and my time is extremely limited. Although I have summers off, that's the time I take to handle all of the big projects I don't have time for during the school year. 20+ years later, I need to find a retirement home, but only have 48 hours to fulfill certain requirements to convince the Bank I am serious and the most pressing issue was a home inspection and the whole bowl of wax... After calling, texting, emailing other prospects, even a recommended one, this was the only company that reached out to me within the firsty half hour of asking for help!!! I could not believe it!!! I explained my circumstances... I had to return home in 48 hours and needed this done. The OWNER dropped everything... EVERYTHING he had programmed for his day after 3pm on a Sunday to take an hour ride to help ME.... and then spend over 3 hours conducting a very thorough inspection. He made me feel soooooo special. He had refreshments and chairs ready to go to make me, my family member, and my realtor feel comfortable as we waited in an empty home. I didn't know how to thank him.. He was not only respectable and professional, but already being a home owner and having gone through quite a few inspections on my previous homes, I KNEW HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING.. Trust me... I'm a native New Yorker, and I was waiting for him to make a mistake or overlook something. BUT HE DIDN'T. I lived in Florida before, had my children here and wanted to go back to the Big Apple because I felt that no one knew what they were doing... NOT THIS COMPANY... If it weren't for his South Carolina drawl, I would swear he was a New Yorker himself. He even took out the time to show me a few tricks or two that I didn't have at the top of my head. I had one "sort-of" real problem, it seemed I was going to need an electrician... But he didn't give up.... He found the slight overlook and PROBLEM SOLVED. I don't know what else this owner or company could ever specialize in, but I will always make sure that any floridian homeowner gets him to help. Darrell saved me from situation that came up with my other inspection. He found ways to come and do inspection for me in a very short notice (less than 24hrs)! He was very flexible when the seller's agent came 30min late, he was very professional, easy going and made the whole messy situation that occurred to me a breeze! I do not see any other inspection company do it for me. He inspected my new condo with me being out of state, I could feel like I could trust him with the process, which prevented me from buying the air ticket and rushing to Florida same day, when my situation occurred. He even facetimed me from my condo during the inspection! He called me with verbal report after the inspection, and I have received the written report in couple of hours, which was very important, as it was my last inspection day.
