That is when things went downhill, not sure if it was because I did not wear designer clothes or did not have a Rolex watch when I visited but was basically told to quit wasting our time and if you wanted to go any further give us a $50,000 dollar deposit and then you will get answers. I would understand if I had repeatedly bothered this dealership. I had 1 in person meeting for about 3 hours and 2 email correspondences. And the last phone call. I apologize for bothering you with questions. I guess I did not fit their desired profile, asked too many questions on a roughly $700,000.00 RV. When my husband and I went out of our way to drive through Lubbock in an attempt to get our RV either fixed or totaled after a year of waiting on an estimate. I naturally sent my husband to go talk to the service manager, Kyle Bovee, so that I would not be arrested for my reaction. Kyle Bovee was extremely friendly to my husband and stated that he was "more than willing" to help us resolve this issue and he was "willing to do whatever it took". We spent 2 days working with our insurance agent, Kyle Bovee and emptying our RV. THE MOMENT WE LEFT TOWN, Kyle Bovee stopped replying, stopped helping and refused to get our insurance company what they needed. In the long run, all he had to do was state that they were unable and ill equipped to perform the work required....he could have worked with a manufacturer to get estimates from them or literally any repair shop that has any large rig capabilities. However, he chose to ignore us and cause over a year of stress and anger. In the end, we ended up having to go through our insurance company just to have them FORCE camping world to work with the manufacturer to get estimates...just to get it totaled. IN ADDITION, they had already accepted the insurance money and were just sitting on it....no communication, no plan to repair...just took the money and let everything sit there. To top it off, they also "misplaced" our motorhome and couldn't find it for over a day. The entire operation is a joke. In total, once we actually got the process moving by having the insurance company force their hands, it took all of 2 weeks to get the RV totaled....after OVER A YEAR. Kyle Bovee didn't even assist with this process and stopped returning the insurance company's call as well. Luckily, someone working under Kyle Bovee was willing to help and actually do what was right. Like I said, I waited over a year to pass before I updated this review to ensure that I still felt the same way...and it still makes me angry. I genuinely hope that Kyle Bovee has been fired and has found his proper home working in fast food or something along those lines. INITIAL REVIEW: I would leave no stars if that was an option. We delivered our motorhome to them just shy of 1 year ago to be repaired...STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE. I have been told over and over that I'll have it in a few days and still nothing. The original service manager left or was fired somewhere in this process and they completely dropped the ball on our unit....to the point where they literally couldn't find it for a few days. They did find it, but only after I got my insurance agent involved who has been trying to work with them directly on my behalf. After this, they tried to tell us that they did not have any insurance or damage information so they needed to start over and get us an "accurate quote". Which I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED. They are now ghosting both of my and my insurance agent's calls, emails, etc. Even requests to speak with management are going unanswered. I can't wait to be passing through there in a few weeks and surprise them in person. I hope they're ready.
