It was at my Aunt's services last Sunday that we noticed the beautiful floral arrangements and realized our oversight in failing to order flower arrangements for my father's services scheduled for the very next day! On a referral and a prayer we drove to Nieblas Flower's minutes before closing and requested floral arrangements that needed to be ready for pick up when they opened the next morning. I fully expected a reply of "WHAT? Are you crazy?!" or even "This last minute request will require someone to stay late tonight to make these (which it did) and you'll have pay an additional emergency request fee (which I was willing to pay), but received none of that. What I did receive were two beautiful created floral arrangements that were ready when I arrived when they opened shop the next morning, charged at their normal rates. This went far beyond supporting the community. This is a locally owned floral shop that went above and beyond in helping a grieving family in dire need. I'll not shop another florist... of this they earned!

They offer unique, stylish floral arrangements that are just so refreshing and the quality is absolutely remarkable. So the shop is located in TJ and I live in San Diego so I was concerned if the flowers would be fresh enough by the time I got home. Every single time, the flowers have not only been fresh enough but they last to almost a week! The biggest test was when we decided to order the flowers from here for my friend's wedding! Her wedding was in June so of course the heat would be a huge factor but also we needed to decorate the church the day before so we really needed to make sure that the flowers would be okay for the big day. Sure enough, the flowers stayed fresh throughout the whole event (some even without water) and even a couple of days after and yes, we did have a heat wave! But with a beautiful ceremony. I couldn't recommend their creations enough, the style of the creator is fresh, original and she really does listen to what you have in mind, works with your budget and allows you to wow your guest.

As an fyi you can communicate with them thru many different ways- have it be thru instagram, WhatsApp, or facebook they can assist you in both English & Spanish too. They are very communicative & flexible with your needs. I sent them over an inspiration photo of a bouquet I was interested in for a loved one of mine in Tijuana & they were able to recreate it just right. I also want to mention that they make beautiful floral arrangements/bouquets at great prices!!! I have absolutely no complaints on quality & their customer service. Since I am in the States & my loved one in Tijuana I had to have the bouquet delivered to my loved ones home & they were able to do so for a small additional fee but it was so worth it. Once you decide on the bouquet/floral arrangement that you want they will have you give them basic info like contact info for the receiving party, address, & the message on the card. I also asked them to please keep me up to date regarding when they were to deliver the bouquet & they did! They texted me & sent me a photo that they successfully delivered them to the address I had notated to them in detail (since i thought the address was difficult to get to) All in all- if I could give them 100 stars then I would! Momo deserves more than a card and we don't live in the same state, so I can't take her to brunch or surprise her with some random mother-daughter activity, which is my favorite thing to do. I was determined to call every florist on Yelp, but thankfully, I only had to make one more call. The woman on the phone was sweet as honey. I don't even remember who my old florist was, cause I'm never calling them again. Thank you for saving me, Florabella. You just made my weekend.

The business was well-organized and kept its schedule reliably, attractive traits to a nerd such as myself, and it sold its creations at a reasonable price. I could drop off a vase at the shop, conveniently located in Bay Ho, and, a few days later, either pick up my flowers or have them delivered to my house. However, by fall of 2019, owners Sarah Newstead and Jennifer Bull were gone, and the shop had moved from San Diego to Coronado Island, a virtual world away from the one I inhabit. Prices had risen, phone calls were no longer promptly returned, and the whole enterprise began to feel desperate and amateurish, like Mom had left the kids in charge, and maybe they were in a little over their heads. So I've stopped using Florabella, because, in the immortal words of Kimberly "Sweet Brown" Wilkins, "Ain't nobody got time for that."
