Joan was wonderful to work with. Their subcontractor-Cesar left me with several issues requiring a plumber to fix. He expected full payment despite none of these being resolved. I asked to speak to Kent (owner), who never called. I was forced to find plumbers to help complete the job. They were busy but their customer service was excellent! They gave us enough "space" to look around but always had someone willing to help and make suggestions. The tiles ALL have samples to bring home so you could make informed decisions after seeing them in you home. Floors Direct was recommended by a reliable friend, when we needed to have our bedroom vinyl plank flooring replaced. They were spot on, as there are many choices of flooring. The showroom is ginormous with tons of selections of all types of flooring, etc. Pricing is competitive and lower than we expected. We took some sample flooring home, and it was a tough decision since they all looked so good in our room. Steve was ever so helpful to give us some education on the types of flooring, so we could make an informed decision. Our final decision made, we set the date. We used their recommended installers, RLS19 Global LLC, Leandro & son. They were such great people to work with. They took their time to make sure the floor was level and worked their magic on the installation. They helped move the furniture (we paid a bit extra for their help). I have to give big kudos to Brent, he was a great help and I never felt pressured by him at all. I was in there a couple times a week till I made up my mind which flooring I wanted and he was very, very patient and personable the whole time. He knew I was anxious about picking my flooring and helped calmed me down. He answered all my questions and made it a smooth transaction from beginning to end. Also, Carlos and his tile install team were top notch, 100% professional and did a superior job. Him and his team were very personable and after they were complete, they left nothing behind, cleaned everything up like they were not even there except for the fantastic job they did. When we first walked in we were immediately greeted. Joan listened carefully to our preferences and walked us to several samples. What totally shocked us was the fact that they did not attempt to sell us the more expensive floors, we were shown all floors that matched our preference. we left with a general idea of flooring and we got on the calendar for a measure. After the measure happened we realized we would not be able to install the floor we thought and had to shift thinking to a different tile type. We live a decent distance from Melbourne so we called Joan and explained our switch and asked her to pull some flooring ahead of time for us based on our color preference and made time to drive in to see new floors. The most impressive thing was that Joan had 2 floors for us ready to view and we chose the very first one she showed us. Joan stayed with us throughout the process and communicated with us on each step. in addition, the installers were professional and went above and beyond to make sure every thing lined up before they left. I live on a tight budget but came into a little money and was able to update my house with all new paint inside and out, and all new flooring. I was going to be changing from carpet to a wood-look tile. This was a major project for me, I don't spend money like this easily. I stopped in on a whim and Brent greeted me and we talked about what I wanted. He saw the dog hair on my shirt (I have two heavy shedders) and he advised against the color I was wanting. We looked at several samples and I took 4 pieces of tile home, where I left them on the floor for 3 weeks. I found the one that worked best for my house and my shedding dogs. I'm grateful he steered me away from color I thought I wanted! I've had this on the floor for 6 weeks now and I love it! He worked with me on the price then set me up with their (independent) installers. The tile guys were on time, efficient, polite, and did a fantastic job on the installation, and I was very impressed with the special care they took to clean everything up when they were done. I was getting carpet in the three bedrooms, and again used their installers. The carpet guys were also on time, friendly, and did a beautiful job on the installation. Both of them helped me move the heavier furniture back into place (they probably would've done more but I didn't need the help). I would highly recommend Floors Direct and Brent to anyone who's looking at changing out their floor coverings. read more
