I found Andrei through a Yelp Project request, and he is easily the single best expert and service…read moreprovider that I've come across through years of using Yelp Projects. I needed to get the hinges replaced on a noisy inside door of my house (the joys of being a new homeowner), and I got several responses from contractors across Yelp. Andrei's stood out both because it was the lowest price quote, and he had the best reviews of any other respondent. It seemed a little too good to be true, but I figured it was worth taking a chance. I'm glad I did, because Andrei IS too good to be true, and yet he exists. Excellent communication, punctual, thorough and completely self-sufficient, the hinge replacement process started off great. Then, after expertly replacing the hinges, and even sanding a bit at the base of the door where it caused the door to stick when opening and closing, he checked to see how the door opened and closed - the door was now blissfully quiet, but still stuck, and he identified the door latch and plate as needing to be adjusted. Above and beyond! The door works perfectly now, it's literally like a new door. And because the door was to my mother-in-law's bedroom, having Andrei provide this superlative service scored me a few points with her (well, at least for a few hours, until she found something else to grumble about). He also left the space clean, and was very courteous from start to finish. I am so thrilled to have found Andrei, because as a new homeowner, I am discovering fun new surprises in the house that I purchased late last year all the time. Now I know just who to turn to when the surprise is too much for my husband or I to handle on our own.

I saw that Andrei had the most 5-star reviews, so I chose him. So happy I did. He arrived a few minutes early and started to work. He went to Home Depot to purchase the materials and only charged me for the materials; he did not increase his fee. He did an excellent job, was very thorough, and cleaned up well. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

I learned later, with other craftsmen, that with correct tools and consideration of my desired outcome, it was not necessary to butcher my floors on their edges. This flooring company tore my floor up. I did try to go cheap so I went with them. I did not know that when we negotiated price, I negotiated away the sealant ti protect floors and allowance to butcher my floors. I was told back/forth 2/3 coats on floor. With/without sealant? Angel said 2 coats sealant. Soon dirt is well in the grains of wood. I know because I can see where a rectifying area was made with the sealant compared to everything that sticks with floor. I have question is it the @Bona #Bona product. My first rodeo. Fixing will cost me an entire 675 sq new floor. It aches my heart. I don't have that kind of money and I wanted a nice outcome.
