He showed up at 1, 2 in the afternoon. We have two small kids and having to navigate dinner times and the day with all his supplies etc. He would never communicate. We wouldn't even know until we texted him to see what was going on all the while this dumpster we were paying for a certain amount of time sat in our driveway. He was very sloppy. He left cement and various other materials all over the driveway and side of the house. He subcontracted out the floors which are the only thing that has held up but proceeded to not put tarps down on the new floors while he worked on the bathroom. We are still finding spots of spackle he stepped on. The grout on the floor is cracking in the first bathroom he did. There is caulk all over the threshold marble. Lastly he has been back to fix the tile in the master bath shower twice. The grout keeps cracking and flaking off. We chose a patterned subway tile and he never even scattered the pattern. He put the same patterned tiles right next to each other. He started the tile from the top down which we have been told several times by other professionals that should not have been done that way. We contacted him a third time because it's happening again prior to the warranty expiring. Now he only wants to offer a 90 day warranty on his work. He does not stand by his work and has never apologized. I worked in the apartment industry for years and we still had bathrooms from the 50s with pink tile that stood the test of time. There is no reason that grout and tile if installed correctly should fail 3 times in under a year. At one point the tiles were falling off the wall and here we are again the grout is just falling off when water hits it. He blames the grout. Never his installation of the grout. He takes no responsibility for his workmanship. We paid a lot of money for a new bathroom and here we are a year later with shotty work and a contractor unwilling to stand by his workmanship. On top of all of this while he worked here he routinely took phone calls from his kids and screamed obscenities at them while in the house with myself and my children right there. Do not hire.

Working with John, Vinnie and Marty made us feel like we were working with friends who had our best interest at heart. The communication was excellent and we felt comfortable that we were able to call on anyone of them to address our questions and concerns at any time. We never felt like any issue we brought up was too much. We appreciated the calm feeling that they had everything under control. We are very happy with the design of our new space as well as the quality and workmanship that went into everything. We appreciated how Vaccaro Brothers went above and beyond with all of the little details to enhance the final project. The crew did an amazing job and were a pleasure to work with. Our project was completed in a timely fashion and we were ecstatic with the outcome. Dana was a huge help In choosing all of the details. She was very patient as we came back time and time again to look at different cabinets, tile, hardware etc. We shopped around extensively prior to choosing Vaccaro Brothers and found them to not only be fairly priced, but an amazing value given the quality of the finished product and the service they provided. We wholeheartedly recommend working with Vaccaro Brothers!

Extremely poor workmanship and unprofessional service…read more I hired Sir Grout to fix 5-6 moving tiles and re-grout the floor. Before taking the contract, they sent their team to inspect the floor, assess the condition, and determine what work needed to be done. Based on that inspection, they recommended the work and provided a quote. I therefore expected the job to be done professionally and properly. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. Their sales team is rude and dont lift calls after you give them contract. The work appeared rushed and taken shorcuts, and they did not seem willing to listen to feedback or address concerns during the process. Very next day, the new grout started cracking and coming out, and the tiles they supposedly repaired are already moving more then what they were. The floor now looks worse than it did before they started. The worst part was their response after I reported the problems. Management was not willing to come back and physically inspect the work or see the issues firsthand. Instead, they blamed the pre-existing condition of the subfloor and there all imagaination. If the subfloor was truly a concern, that should have been properly identified and communicated before accepting the job--especially since their team had specifically inspected the floor before providing the quote. Rather than taking the time to understand the problem and stand behind their work, they essentially dismissed my concerns without properly investigating the failure. My biggest concerns were the rushed workmanship, lack of responsiveness to customer feedback, and, most importantly, their refusal to come back and inspect the failed work. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sir Grout. Always the high price does not translate into quality workmanship or professional customer service.
