The seam was placed incorrectly in our master bedroom( not the installers fault); the carpet could not be vacuumed with a Dyson and we came to find that out after the fact that would void our warranty; installers were late and never called and hence did not finish the job. On the other hand, I am truly impressed with the Beautiful Guarantee that assured we would not have a hassle replacing what was already installed. I would not hesitate to recommend Carpet One Bloomington but I think it is very important to ask the right questions of the type of carpet you pick vs just color and feel. Matt was easy to work with and our second install team (Juan, etc) couldn't have been more professional.

Josh was our salesperson, and was tireless, knowledgeable, and patient in working out different options and educating us about the pros and cons. We did some comparison shopping. BCO's good pricing, their responsiveness and promptness, and them doing their own work (not subcontracting) were compelling, so we went with them. After we ordered the work, BCO was able to put the job on schedule within days. The BCO installers accidentally installed the vinyl plank in the wrong area. This error also led to some other issues. When BCO realized this, it immediately acknowledged its error and responsibility, and worked to correct as soon as it could. The BCO installers were back the next day to start addressing the issues, and Eric and another employee even visited the job after their workdays, just to evaluate and determine solutions. Matt (general manager) got involved at the end to make sure that we were satisfied with the resolution. (We were!) However careful a company is, some type of error will happen sometime to that company - that's a fact of life. How the company - and the people at the company - respond sets the great ones apart. And Bloomington Carpet One, through its actions and the actions of its employees, clearly distinguishes itself as a great company!

Lori, the owner, was extremely personable & helpful, guiding me through the process of determining my needs & evaluating the pros and cons of different products. Carpet City does not get a commission from different manufacturers, so the focus is on finding and selling a carpet which fits the customer's specifications and price range. James, who came to our house to measure, then returned to remove & replace the carpet was meticulous, friendly, & very precise in his work. We couldn't be happier, both with the quality of the carpet but also with integrity of the business owner and her staff.

I love how it looks and how it flows seamlessly from the Living Room/Dining Room space to the Kitchen and even in to the small bathroom. I have been walking on the floors barefoot since they were installed. The installer did a good job on the thresholds. Both the kind that lead to an outside door and the difference in the color of the plank into the bathroom space. The Owner Tina was great to work with. I will work with Seestedt's again when I update my stairs and upper level of my home. I see my hometown is listed as someplace in California. Not true, Saint Paul Minnesota suburb.

Years ago, we seamed three different carpet remnants together to create an interesting abstract rug. We looked at a few of Carpet One's remnants, thanked our salesperson, Tracy Rokosz, and began to walk out. Tracy casually mentioned that she might have something that would fit our needs. She showed us a sample of beautiful large carpet remnant that was being stored downstairs. It was perfect, a great color, and the price was amazing! Now, we're using the remnant for two bedrooms. After the installation I discovered heat wasn't working in the unit which caused a few wrinkles in the carpet when we had the cold snap around New Years. The job was done right from the beginning and I'm impressed that he backed up his work even though the lack of heat that caused the wrinkles was my problem not his. If you're on the fence about Schneider Carpet One -- don't be. We just completed three major…read moreflooring projects in our mid-century modern home, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. We had two guest bedrooms/offices coming out of a chaotic mix of linoleum, tile, and carpet tiles, a utility/laundry room with rough concrete, and a large family room on polished concrete. We went with LVP in a rosewood finish for the bedrooms, a Moroccan-pattern sheet vinyl for the laundry room, and plush carpet for the den. The end result looks incredible -- but what stood out just as much as the finished product was how the entire process was handled. From day one, Curt was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He walked us through the showroom, helped us think through each space, and came to the house to assess everything in person. His quote was thorough and transparent -- out the door pricing for all three rooms, no surprises. What we didn't fully anticipate was how much prep work our floors actually needed. Schneider's team handled self-leveling pours, subfloor resurfacing, and full prep on nearly every space to make sure everything was flush and seamless. They went well beyond scope -- installing new floor moldings, replacing old closet tracks that weren't compatible with the new flooring, and even coordinating a plumber to address a decrepit drain in the laundry room. Every detail was handled without us having to ask. Kyle did outstanding work on the LVP installation, and the rest of the crew handling the sheet vinyl and carpet were clearly masters of their craft. We were actually able to leave town and visit family while they worked, and came home to everything done, clean, and beautiful. We will absolutely be using Schneider again. Curt and the entire team earned every bit of our trust -- and our highest recommendation.
