He managed to fit the flooring and skirting boards perfectly despite issues within the property which made it difficult (i.e. existing door frames that were not built properly and awkward cupboards). Myself and my partner were delighted with the way he fitted the flooring and impressed with his obvious skill and dedicated approach. He is also very friendly and I felt very comfortable having in my home. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We've had bad experiences of builders and decoraters in the past and wanted someone we could trust to make and fit them without the usual mess and hassle . I'm still amazed at how easy they made it seem -they arrived on time ,knew exactly what they were doing and made totally solid, perfectly fitting shelves AND left absolutely no dirt and mess ( that's a first! ) We are planning to have music/storage units fitted nextand can't think of anyone we would rather use . Great work -would definitely rcommend them .

It is not uncommon to pay a lot of money and receive poor quality products and service in London…read more How refreshing, then, to meet Tristan and his team. We had fitted wardrobes and shelves built in our bedroom and they look fabulous. It was great to see not 1 or 2 dingy photos of previous work but 2 whole portfolios of clear bright photos of the whole range of work Custom Carpentry carries out. Tristan filled us with confidence, from the start; he paid great attention to what we said we wanted, made drawings and discussed every detail with us until he was sure we were happy. Valentine and Jan who built the wardrobes and shelves and then painted them were punctual, polite and skilled. Plus; there was no mess left behind! We cannot recommend Tristan highly enough. I look forward to getting further work done by Custom Carpentry. Lucy Bell, Queen's Park

Their service was outstanding, a sentiment echoed by other customers on various platforms. Which is why I went with them originally. Costa did some work at my home and I am so disappointed with the work, it is awful…read more The paint work and plastering are extremely patchy and lumpy and a complete eye sore. It just seemed like they didn't know what they were doing but they claim to be experts in decorating, which is questionable. Also, they damaged my flooring as they have made massive dents in the wooden flooring and they didn't even mention that they did this as they thought it was acceptable to do this. My heart dropped when I saw the flooring like this. There was no care for my personal belongings, I asked them to cover my personal items up properly but they either didn't bother to put the plastic sheet over my items or they would the plastic sheet down whilst doing lots of messy work. Also, they painted the front room in two different shades of white and the plaster and paint work looks messy and not to a professional standard. They even damaged the heating monitor, which controls the heating and I had to call an engineer to fix this and this caused me to have no heating during the cold weather. I told Costa that he broke the heating control and he just looked at me and said nothing, which I thought was rather odd at the time but I could tell by his face that he knew that he had broken the heating control monitor. I have severe asthma and was forced to sleep without heating and I told them I have breathing problems but they didn't care at all. I am very vulnerable person. When they want your business, they seem to be nice and all smiles but when you tell about the mistakes that they have made with the work, they are not interested in listening at all. I have had a terrible experience with this company and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them.

I bought tiles and grout last summer from them and called them 8 months later for matching mastic. We're talking just four tubes of mastic, not a big sale for them but they went out of their way to find a good match, emailing me over photos of the grout I had bought next to potential sealant colours and really cared about what the bathrooms would look like at the end.
