After multiple calls and…read moreemails to correct a mistake they made with our crown molding costing us over $2500, they have been unwilling to refund what I paid for the molding and insist on me buying more at cost ($1250) after I already paid them initially. There were also errors with an oak trim piece (3" wide instead of 5") for my range hood and incorrect drawer fronts on our island that do not match the other wall cabinets. The cabinet touch-up kit has items missing and an incorrect color touch up so I have no way to fill nail holes on the trim. They have said these were their errors and that they would re-order the pieces, but they have yet to do so. I would hesitate to trust them if you are considering doing a kitchen design as it is simply not worth the risk and months of delay due to missing/incorrect items. Please look at their reviews as most of the high rated reviews are made up profiles with one or only a handful of reviews. Buyer beware. [Update, I just noticed the owner posted a reply today stating they warned against this crown molding and that is simply not true, in fact, I wanted two-stage crown and they advised against it since I was going with 39" cabinets. He also states that he would still like to help complete the job to my liking and to call him, but I can assure you that we talked twice this week including yesterday afternoon and he refused to refund even just the cost of my crown molding unless I buy more from him. This is no longer an option as I have already spent hours making custom crown and getting paint matched for the trim. He said at the end of the call the "we're done" so not sure why he posted this today. We have not received the 5" oak trim board, missing touch-up items, or corrected drawer fronts. I even offered to keep the incorrect drawer fronts if he would refund the cost of my crown and he would not.]

I had this company give me a quote for painting my bedrooms. We discussed priming and painting the…read morewalls doors and closet. When I got a quote back and of course I tried to negotiate it, but they were firm on the price which is perfectly fine. I message them back a week later to do the job done. Her responding message was telling me that the quote wasn't actually on what we discussed and said that if I wanted to have what we discussed, I would have to pay more money, because "it did not include. Both sides of the door, and the priming was only on small spots where they would spackle not the entire wall like we had discussed. They also stated that they "needed clarification on why I was OK with the price now." as if that was any of their business. When I called them to ask why they needed clarification on price I gave it to them. While I was giving it to them, she kept cutting me off and trying to justify her price increases and would not let me speak. She then spent the next 20-30 minutes trying to justify why she was trying to jack up my price. The lady was extremely rude. Cut me off every time I tried speaking. This is a classic bait and switch, and I would never use this company just because of that. If I had just agreed to the original price without trying to get a lower one, I never would've found that I wasn't getting the entire job done. I would've only gotten half the job done and would've been out $1000. I would then be forced to either pay them more money to finish the job since they already started or have another company come and redo it. Never deal with a company who uses bait and switch and changes their offer after the fact, and tries to lie. Especially with contracting work, because you will be up creek without a paddle.
