Have you ever tired too going shopping with your father? Lol Let's just say we are like a comedy hour together. His Price conscious and wants to find the best deal and I just want something that goes with the theme of what I'm remodeling at the time. I have shopped here on two separate occasion. The first was when I was replacing all the floors in my house and we ended up finding a dark espresso wood floor. We were greeted upon arrival and offered assistance multiple times throughout our visit. Most likely they were checking to make sure we weren't going to kill each other. Since we tend to bicker with each other like an old married couple. Lol The second time was recently when I was remodeling my kitchen. We came in for backsplash.... We were greeted again and we reached out to a few different sales clerks on help and prices. My dad from Greece and refuses to purchase anything from Turkey which limited our selection a lot. **insert annoyed eyes** - Location: This store is located off of Victory Drive behind the ihop and Xfinity store and across from Whole Foods. It doesn't have a lot of parking like Lowe's or Home Depot and is quite cramped if ihop is busy. Plus, the spaces are narrow and doesn't give you a lot of space for loading. - Building/Store: Its basically a large warehouse with flooring around the outer left and back walls, backsplash is to the right and along the wall and they have a small clearance selection by the restrooms. And in the middle is a mix of porcelain, glass and marble tiles. It's clean and open. - Service: The staff were helpful and actually seemed to enjoy their job and were happy to be there. Which is always a plus. They were also patient with us while we ended up trying to decide what we needed. - Merchandise: Even if we weren't being picky about where the tile was imported from. They don't have an large selection of different types of tile to pick from. There was more porcelain and ceramic then marble and granite which is what we were looking for. They are also SUPER limited on what they offer for Granite countertops which is why we ended up getting for our tops somewhere else and for cheaper. Overall: It's a decent location if you are looking for a good deal for doing a simple job. read more

Went back to Floor and Decor today to pick up some schluter edging. Our master bath reno is going well. I ended up changing everything and going with a beautiful porcelain tile. Elizabeth helped us the last time we were in and I am so happy with the selections. I needed some help today. I have to give a shout out to just about everyone that was working today. It's December 30, 2020 and we were in the store around 3:30pm. We had questions and everyone that we spoke with was soooo helpful!!! They have a great staff in the Savannah location. If management reads this post I hope they pass the praise to their staff!!! I wish I had gotten names, but if we spoke to 5 or 6 employees they were all equally pleasant and helpful. It's a pleasure to shop there as compared to Lowe's or Home Depot where you can't find anyone to help you. After this project we will be back to do the guest bathroom. We will be back!!! read more

Five stars due to the excellent customer service provided by sales associate, Marquinda! I found myself searching for products requested by my flooring contractor. Marquinda's vast knowledge of marble, stone cleaners, sealers, everything marble helped me tremendously to purchase the correct items. She explained a course she had taken at Floor Decor, given by professionals, and how these products worked to protect natural stone, etc. Her knowledge was helpful, and I appreciate Floor Decor understanding the importance of employee product training and making resources available to their sales reps. read more

I had an appointment to pick up merchandise and the items were not ready for pickup. The girl forklift driver was clueless. Another person had to come assist. The manager who was a skinny white guy was not customer oriented and clearly not knowledgeable on loading trucks. This was at the location in Savannah Georgia. read more

I've come to this location a few different times and each time I've had the exact same experience so I believe that's just how things are. No one really greets you when you walk in and if they do you never hear from them again... That's not a super surprise because this store is humongous. So I don't really expect to be greeted every time I walk in, but help around the floor would be really convenient. Because this is really a do it yourself store where we definitely need help and have questions. They have a ton of selection if you've seen it on Pinterest they probably have it in stock which is awesome. I'm not sure if they price match with local competitors like Home Depot or not but it's definitely worth an ask. I'm also not positive if they offer a military discount or something similar so again definitely ask. read more

Customer service in the store is amazing! Design services nice. Tile choices are beautiful but placing an order and calling to pick it up is a nightmare. If you can take it with you please do, you'll be extremely happy. If you have to deal with having it picked up go elsewhere. I've spent over two hours trying to get ahold of someone in receiving, finally getting them and having the call dropped. My builder was trying to pick up tile and trying to get anyone to answer on any line in the place was nonexistent. My husband and I searched many tiles stores in our area for flooring and tile for our master bathroom. We had seen an ad for Floor & Decor and decided to go to the store nearest to us; Savannah. They have a wide selection of flooring and tiles which are displayed for ease of selection and type. We also know that their pricing was better than the stores we had visted. We were unsure of how to put together the look I was going for, but Lloyd Darby, the Wood Dept. Manager, pulled the flooring, walls and shower surround together. He was right on with his suggestions and was quite knowledgeable in the technical aspects of flooring and tiling. Lloyd really made our shopping experience there enjoyable. In addition, Lloyd was very personable and greeted fellow workers, contractors and customers as we passed them. This was truely customer service and management at it's best! read more

There were so many different popular designs at an affordable price. Some of the tiles had a modern edge for your kitchen or living room. They also have quartz and granite counter tops. Not only do they sell tiles, but hardwood and laminated floors. I'm talking about the quality kind that is thick real wood for cheap discounted price. They offer design services for bathroom, kitchen, living room, and showers. I'm always focus on doing housing projects. I flip a lot of houses and manage properties, therefore this place has my business. You can't find a better deal on tiles, and hardwood floors. I have been all over the Savannah area looking for the perfect checker board porcelain tile and this is the only store that has it. Floor decor knocks out other flooring businesses. I very rarely write reviews but believe that this lady deserves me taking the time to do so. My husband does home renovations and needed a particular color of grout in order to finish a job and get paid. He asked one guy but the guy just simply said that everything available was out on the floor. Then my husband asked a young lady by the name of "Marquinda" (and please forgive me if I misspelled your name) and she scanned the product and said there were 6 in the system and she then went in the back to look for it but discovered none. She then said that it may be in a store display and it was. My point is that this lady went above and beyond and she helped my husband find the product that he needed because without it he wouldn't be able to finish the job and get a paycheck. We are in the process of redesigning three bathrooms in our home. This is our forever home and the last renovation we plan on doing in our lifetime. Colleen, our design consultant went above and beyond in helping us. She was able to help us figure out our style, choose tiles and flooring that would complement each room and advise us on what would work best for us. The color palette she chose for each bathroom is warm, welcoming and absolutely beautiful! We are also very grateful for her resourcefulness and quick thinking. At the recommendation of our contractor, we had made a design change to our master bathroom shower and needed more tile to complete the shower wall. The tile we had chosen , was very popular and out of stock in many of the local Floor and Decor stores. Colleen was able to locate the needed tile and have it shipped to us, so we were able to complete our project without any delays or additional labor costs. Lower Prices with out sacrificing quality! I went yesterday to start my second project after I tiled the area around my fireplace mantle. I did some price comparisons with local business and in some cases they were half to a third of the price! They have some high end tiles that are intricately cut, that I could not touch in some places around town. I am starting to plan the work around doing a back splash in my laundry room and I will definitely be getting the tile to do it from there! They have a great selection and you can take home tile grids by buying the ones you like and returning them for a full refund after you see them in your house. read more

This has become my go-to for everything floor and more because of their products, pricing and service! My first trip there, I was describing the tile I was looking for to a friend. A customer service associate overheard me and asked if I was looking for a specific tile - he right away knew the name, as well as a wealth of other information, to help me find exactly what I needed. This place is huge and has a great selection of flooring, tiles and back splashes. There is something for just about any taste. Only downside is the lack of friendliness in most of the employees. We could not find anyone to help us, and the few employees we did encounter were downright rude. We were in need of a shopping cart, as the boxes of backsplash we were purchasing were extreamly heavy. There was an empty one, and when I asked if anyone was using it the Employee Elizabeth rudely told me she was going to be using it. So we made 2 trips to the checkout carting our purchase all the while that cart never moved and remained empty. I even said I would return it as soon as we were done. Had I been able to purchase what I wanted else where I would have. Now the gentleman in the flooring department was so much more friendly. He was happy to help us and answer questions we had. After three months of trying to get one box of flooring that Floor and Decor owes me, I give up. I bought 25 boxes of luxury vinyl plank but one box was damaged upon arrival. Floor and Decor assured me they would order another box for me. After a few weeks, I called and there was no order. I repeatedly had to explain the situation to probably half of the employees there because I would be transferred to a new associate. I finally was able to talk to Lloyd, the manager, who again assured me the order was coming. I've now called no less than 30 times, attempting to talk to Lloyd about my order. Apparently he is never at work because I call daily. Any time they assure they'll call me back, they don't, and now they put me on hold just to hang up on me. So three months later, I give up. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced over 1 box of flooring. read more

We started off a little rough because of the delivery service that we contracted through the store. They promised to deliver our order five times and they were no shows all these times. Then they called us 8:30 PM on a Wednesday night and they were at our house to deliver our order and we weren't there. Fortunately, we arrived on time before they delivered our 10,000 pounds of tile on our driveway. Fortunately, Floor and Decor is no longer working with this service provider Well, when we started our remodeling several weeks and we discovered that boxes of tile were never delivered. I called Floor and Decor and they resolved it promptly and did not make us go through a long process to get our tile replaced. In fact, their district manager even delivered it herself. I was so impressed by their excellent customer service. I have my own business and I realize the importance of a customer's trust. I know I will have several other remodeling projects in the future and I will definitely shop at Floor and Decor again for them. I totally trust that they will do what is right. Called the store bizarre! No one answered! Called again. No one answered. Called again prompted receiving no answer. Called again. Prompted receiving got a pick up put on hold. No pick up.after 8 minutes. Dropped the call called again. No body picks up. Have been to the store and had great front end assistance when there is some staff. But otherwise shopping by myself. Are they going out of business? I did make a purchase on a storage buy and went to the warehouse to pick it up five days later. My order had not been picked and had to wait 2 hours for it to be picked and sent to the warehouse. BS. The girl in the warehouse was snapping gum and guzzling water so fast I thought I was in a bar with a contest! I checked my order and it wasn't even my order.... really folks? Big disconnect between the design professionals and the warehouse slobs. What's going on? F&D has a great product line awesome designers and what??????? At the end? Came in today to get some thresholds for our flooring that we purchased there last week. I was mistakenly sent to the warehouse where they then told me I had to go back to the flooring department. Calvin had helped up on our initial purchase and thankfully I saw him as I was leaving frustrated. What a turn around! He was so helpful and spent the time necessary to get what I needed. Floor and decor has a lot to choose from... We walked around aimlessly for almost 2 hours trying to figure out what we wanted our shower to look like and eventually had help from Ms. Liz. She spent time showing us the things we liked and so we ordered it all and paid for it only to find out that they didn't even have it in stock and we couldn't get it for another 2 weeks. Frustrating when we are without a shower and bathroom for a month already and they told us they'd be loading it in our truck that day. We ended up having to return what we bough and order online. Thankfully we got our shipment 4 days later. Unfortunately... we were just one tile short so we figured we'd run back to the store to get one sheet of the tile and of course they close every night at 6 making it impossible to get there unless we leave work early. I offered to prepay and pick it up at the door as we were going to be arriving 5 minutes before closing time and they refused. I guess I just thought they would try to help us out after putting us through the ringer with the original order. So sad and frustrating. read more

Admittedly a little nervous as my contractor is picking up the product and installing it without me being there. DO NOT buy their laminate flooring. Pure crap! They don't tell you that it can't be sealed and the smallest amount of water in the seams will cause it to swell up. They tell you how tough it is. It's not laminate; it's cardboard. My cat threw up a tiny bit on the floor while I was a work. Poof! Seam swelled up; floor ruined. And I paid a lot of money for this crap. Avoid this place and the flooring they talk you into buying. And now they can't help me or do anything. Warranty doesn't cover this. read more
