Danielle, the owner, pours her heart and soul into this place, and you can see it in every little detail. The place is curated for fun and the prices are incredibly reasonable. My sister and I stumbled upon Retro Reef shortly after Danielle first opened in 2025, and I immediately fell in love with the shop, the unique pieces, and the overall atmosphere. My sister even worked with Danielle to plan the sweetest bachelorette night for me! Fast forward to 2026, and we had the most incredible time celebrating there again. Every girl got to make something completely unique to her own style and preferences, and Danielle went above and beyond to incorporate the theme of our trip into the decorations. She even arranged catered food, snacks, and fun drinks for us! I genuinely cannot recommend Retro Reef enough. We had SO much fun, and while the shop itself is absolutely ADORABLE, it is also such a special place to celebrate. The store had a lot of stock. Mainly clothes. And they were trying to get rid of their inventory to make room. As it was the holiday weekend, they were offering a bogo on clothing and an extra discount on furniture. They have bric a brac, and china, and kitchen stuff along with a bit of furniture, accessories, etc. And near the check-out counter, they have some jewelry. There was a necklace that looked interesting to me, but frankly it wasn't inexpensive enough for me to buy. I really don't need a thing, but I do like to browse. Sometimes some item will "call my name" and that's that. My husband looked at the men's clothing. He occasionally finds a great buy on designer shirts, or something catches his eye that's a little off beat. I'm glad we stopped here. This is the kind of place where the inventory changes regularly so each time may be a different experience.

Jose and staff are knowledgeable about the brands they stock and the benefits of each shoe. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I came in looking for just one pair of shoes and left with 5 pairs of shoes! They didn't have the shoe that I was looking for and Jose was able to order them for me. There seems to be a sale every day! I love the wooden nickel idea (both for the community, and for the customers). Half of my wardrobe came from here this year. I seem to luck out every time I go. I've purchased several name brand items including: GAP, Pink, Hollister, American Eagle, Calvin Klein, etc. Conditions of clothing range from good to new. Rarely have I ever spotted an item that's just "acceptable". I purchased 4 fall/winter jackets for myself and my husband last week (on half price clothing day), and paid less than $20 For all 4!!! AMAZING!!! THEY WERE ALL IN SUPERB CONDITION!!! The staff here is the best in the area. This shop seems to have evolved in so many ways recently. I'm so pleased with it's turned into. Even their window displays are cute, and were designed with a lot of thought. I myself am an artist, and can pick up on the vibes that there are employees here with clever eyes for design and organization. You can find higher end items in their little boutique area (front left) along with kitchenware, clothing, shoes, home goods, furniture (including full framed beds), and several books to chose from!!!
