Was worried about starting at a gym again when I heard about John Lehne and 302 Fitness. Since…read moremeeting John, my worries are gone. 302 Fitness is much better than any gym. John talks to you and gets to know your thoughts, goals and concerns. He is focused on your health and making you the best that you can be. Sometimes this means being totally supportive and sometimes this means challenging you to get the best out of you (which I consider to be totally supportive too). John is never the same tired routine. Each time I go into 302 fitness, he is ready with a workout designed for me. If you have never tried a trainer, I would encourage you to stop by 302 fitness and/or give John a call, I don't know why it took me this long to consider a trainer. He is the best - give your body a reward and check out 302 Fitness.

The heater motor burned out on Tuesday and NO repairs have been made and there is no information available regarding status. It is COLD in the gym. And with next week's forecast showing highs in the 20s, this is not sustainable. An indoor business like this should have HVAC issues resolved same day or, worse case, next day. We're on Day 4 and no workers anywhere. I plan to ask for a refund for any days where it is too cold to use the gym.

If you are a member - you get 24x7 access with a key code. When you get in there - you get access to all the old school, tried and true tools to get in shape. You have our kettlebells, squat racks, rowers, ski-ergs, airdyne machines of death, benches, etc. Also - since the gym is private it is never busy - usually its just you and yourself. Sometimes Paul will be there with another client. The owner / head trainer is Paul - he is awesome. Reach out to him and schedule a 1 on 1 with him. He is worth it.

Spin room conditions are unsafe, and management won't listen…read more I want to like Pure Fitness, but the spinning room is a real problem. It runs about 15 degrees hotter than the rest of the gym, and when every bike is taken it gets even worse. I've watched people leave class early to keep from fainting. Members have raised this with management repeatedly. We made a simple, no-cost request: unlock the room an hour before class so it can air out. The door stays locked, and nothing has changed. Many of us in these classes are seniors, and heat like this is a genuine health risk. But it's not just us. Members in their 20s and 30s are complaining too, and it falls on deaf ears. A gym should care about its members' safety and listen when they bring up a problem. Until management fixes the ventilation in the spin room, or at least takes basic steps like airing it out before class, I can't recommend it. I'd love to update this review if they make it right.
