I would rate them a 4* but due to the initial workers, I have some issues with my floor that unless…read moreI remove the entire floor, I cannot replace it, so I gave them a 3. (I did not discuss this with the company because I was sick of the project, so in fairness they were unaware but likely in my experience of them-would have fixed it) This is a bit of a doozy, The primary feedback I will leave you with is that they will not leave your job until it is completed to your satisfaction. My project was tile and hardwood in 6 separate spaces. I had a project that was to be completed in 1.5 weeks and due to many factors, it didn't get completed for a few months. The initial men that were at my job site were absolutely terrible- vaping in my home, taking long breaks, showing up late-leaving early, broke a light and I believe stole materials from my job (not confirmed). They were eventually terminated but not before they made my job a nightmare. I had to be very diligent checking on them, asking questions, taking photos and being very assertive about my needs and the damage the workers did to my job including damaging brand-new floor they laid down. Additionally, there had to be high level of communication which was difficult as there were many people to communicate with and the message often was distorted in the end. The second person they hired to complete my tile project was professional but had several personal issues that I believe disrupted the handywork, but the supervisor came in many times to ensure that my difficulties, issues and overall satisfaction was addressed. He wasn't willing to leave my project until I was happy with the work. He was professional. I would also add that I had to be on the phone with the team many times, and although I know they were likely sick of hearing from me- the office staff and workers were always kind, respectful and willing to address any need I had. I would return to their business, with a bit of caution due to those initial workers but I would return.

They have amazing customer service, always there to lend a hand, and are pros. The rate was also the lowest around and they were able to utilize every aspect of my financials to get me the most for my resources! I also got the pleasure of working (briefly) with Ingrid and Denise. These ladies are unstoppable, easily able to answer all of questions. If they didn't have an answer, they had a person for me to call directly. So helpful and understanding that I had never done any of this before. Call them!

In a field rife with agents content to…read morebe "good enough", the Element team stands head and shoulders above the competition with their focus on providing an excellent client experience. I specifically worked with Tanner Faucett on the purchase of my first investment property, a multi-family home in Burlington. Tanner was incredibly responsive, communicated clearly, and leveraged his own real estate investment experience to help set my expectations and ensure I had a strong grasp on each step in the process. With his guidance, patience, and robust knowledge of the multi-family market, we found the right property. Though there were some curveballs thrown by some of the other parties in the closing process , Tanner's support was steadfast as he tackled issues that other agents would likely have punted or handled more passively. I look forward to working with Element (and Tanner) on my future real estate transactions!

Nancy Jenkins' team represented the sellers in our home purchase, and our experience has been…read morenothing short of a nightmare. Shortly after moving into the home, we discovered extensive concealed material defects that have ultimately cost us over $100,000 in repairs. We found black mold in the basement that appeared to have been deliberately hidden through fresh paint and the removal of carpeting. We also uncovered severe water damage stemming from a second-story balcony, which caused significant structural deterioration in the primary bedroom. The damage was so extensive that we had to completely remove the balcony and replace the rim joist and other structural framing that had rotted away. Much of this damage had been concealed with new trim, siding, and other cosmetic updates designed to mask the underlying problems. We also found newly installed trim covering rotten sheathing, with no building wrap behind it. To make matters worse, when our inspector identified several issues that had not been successfully concealed, Nancy Jenkins' team recommended that we obtain repair estimates from the homeowner's personal contractor, stating that they trusted him. We later discovered that this same contractor had performed much of the work used to hide the defects and provided estimates that dramatically understated the true cost of the repairs. We relocated from Colorado and put our trust in the professionals involved in this transaction. Instead, we inherited a home with extensive hidden damage and an overwhelming financial burden. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Nancy Jenkins Real Estate. We found the level of transparency and ethics throughout this transaction deeply disappointing. If zero stars were an option, that is the rating I would give.

We arrived in Vermont the end of October 2020 during COVID19, having never visited before and determined to make this our forever home. Finding Ms. Ouellette was the result of a cold call after reading many reviews about realtors. She got back to us immediately and then it was an almost daily exchange of information as she familiarized herself with our needs and presented options. Our first contract revealed many problematic conditions as we did our due diligence. We terminated the contract and the sellers became belligerent. The team at Nancy Jenkins added their amazing knowledge to the problem in support of Ms. Ouellette. We were referred to additional professionals as necessary and the problem was resolved. We moved seamlessly to another purchase contract thanks to Kristin's focus and confidence. That contract was smooth sailing and we closed on the property early. I highly recommend this team, and particularly Kristin Ouellette - our first Vermonter friend. Thank you Kristin!

PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING!!! We are having the WORST experience with this real estate agency. Agent…read morePeter Kroll and managing broker/agent PJ Whitbeck have been absolutely dreadful to work with. From the minute we signed our listing agreement over three months ago we have consistently been experiencing great mistreatment, deplorable and unethical customer service, conducted with total unprofessionalism. They seem to have their own agendas, as we have never been treated with any respect or felt heard or valued as a client. They have refused or ignored all of our simple requests, including being added to MLS alerts for showing requests, and feel like we have been kept in the complete dark, with them seemingly telling us only what they wanted us to know. They have dodged and deflected our questions and concerns, they have not responded to us in a timely manor and have not kept their word when they say they will do things. Our listing was lacking in specifics and riddled with incorrect and misleading information even after we repeatedly let them know of it. They continued to leave it uncorrected and have done nothing apart from posting our property to the MLS and their website to market it - they didn't even offer us a lock box but had 4 keys made, or put up a for sale street sign. We can't understand their erratic and nonchalant behavior as the market is hungry for properties while the area is lacking them and they currently have very few listings and sales. Their website has their recent stats - check them out! They've even had to close one of their offices (Lake Placid) recently . Regardless of our listing being incomplete and incorrect, we had over a thousand views and a hundred saves on MLS and only one showing until we started to complain and miraculously the request began coming in. At that point we refused all showings out of utter mistrust and not wanting to have anything to do with them. We have asked numerous times to be released from the listing agreement but have been denied every time, without any apology or effort to make things right with us. A couple weeks ago they dropped our listing from MLS and their website but still refuse to release us from the listing agreement, purely out of spite and vindictiveness. We are utterly baffled as to why they would treat my 86-year-old mother and I in this deplorable fashion. I gave them one star only because I have too not because they deserve any.
